I have never, ever, heard anyone say 'aboot', 'oot' or any other of that nonsense. Keep in mind that this is just my personal experience. Also, I would like to explain the use of 'eh'. First off, we don't say it at the start or end of every sentence. second, when we say it, we are just saying it to make a point.Example... You like apples, eh? It's like saying 'do you agree' or 'am I right'. It's really not that hard to understand. There are other things that people think we say, but I'm not going into it. Don't be afraid to ask any questions.
