It's been a few weeks since Stretch told him about Resets and Killer had been there the entire time as he learned the reason for his brother's depression. Killer was amazing support who said he'd been through the same before. He'd also said he'd done things that he regretted. They'd comforted each other in that matter. With them spending more time together, it wasn't that surprising when rumors started to circulate. Honestly there'd been rumors going about since Blue started willingly working with Killer. Some were good, some were bad. For instance, some people were saying that Killer and Blue had gotten together and were dating. Others said that Blue was being blackmailed into hanging around Killer. Some thought that Blue was Killer's next victim of murder, knowing he'd been one of the Multiverse's worst enemies. But Blue paid no mind to these rumors. People could say what they wanted, but they were just friends keeping each other company. Killer... well there was one that had caught his attention and had been mulling over these past few weeks. Killer was... ready. Ready to move on and that meant talking to Blue.

"YOU'VE BEEN QUIET, KILLS, ARE YOU OK?" Blue asked as he and Killer restocked the shelves with a new shipment of food and supplies. "yes. no. maybe." Killer replied as a conflicted looked crossed his features. Blue frowned a little. "IS IT ABOUT THE RUMORS? ARE THEY GETTING TO YOU?" Killer was about to shake his head, but ended up nodding instead. "sort of, none of the bad ones though. that's just a bunch of bull." Blue had stopped and grabbed Killer's hand. "WANNA SIT ON THE FUTON AND TALK ABOUT IT? MAYBE I COULD HELP PUT IT OUT, WHATEVER IT IS." Killer was already walking to the futon. He liked that idea. It made Blue giggle and Killer blush. "SO WHAT'S BOTHERING YOU?" Blue asked as they sat down. "you know that dating rumor? about us being together?" Blue blushed himself. "Y-YEAH, IS IT BOTHERING YOU..?" Killer shook his head. "i've been... thinking. maybe we could make it a reality, uh, if you wanted." Blue brought his hands to his face in shock, blushing a hundred fold. Killer was still blushing, watching Blue's reaction and waiting for a response. "Yeah... let's do it!" Blue replied quietly after a moment to calm his internal fanboying. That really just happened. Killer asked Blue out.

They decided not to do date stuff at work since they were busy working, but they did talk about what to do afterwards. Nice cream and Walsh Park seemed to be today's agenda. Killer waited for Blue outside while the little Skeleton clocked out for the day. "killer?" Killer froze up a moment upon hearing Outer's voice. "checking up on me again?" Killer asked, looking to Outer with a raised bonebrow. "yeah... you might still be mad at me, but i still do care, even if we're not together anymore." Outer replied. "where's the little guy, blue?" Killer looked to the doors of the restaurant. "clocking out. how's sci?" Killer was starting to realize that he shouldn't be holding on to that anger if he was going to move forward with Blue. It still surprised Outer though. "o-oh, um, sci's doing good. he's been working really hard to get a position at this really nice lab." Killer smiled upon seeing Blue come running out, their manager yelling at him for running in the restaurant. "good for him." Killer replied. "OUTER? I WASN'T EXPECTING TO SEE YOU HERE! KILLS, READY FOR THE DATE?! I'M GOING TO GET STRAWBERRY, WHAT ABOUT YOU?" Killer took Blue's hand in his as they walked along the sidewalk, Killer biding Outer a quick goodbye. "i think rocky road would be tasty."
