Distracted or.... ATTRACTED?

Yesterday.. Lily was accepted in Saotome Academy.
Ai did his best to convice Saotome.

Lily will be entering as a song writer or a lyric composer.
But mostly.. she will write for Quartet Night.

Today, she's going to school, together with Ai.

Ai just walked in the living room where he
was about to greet Lily who was fixing
her uniform in front of the mirror.

"Good mor-" Ai stopped as Lily suddenly
turned around to look at him.

"-ning............ WOW" Ai admired Lily.

"...G-Good morning, Ai-kun.." Lily blushed
as she looked at Ai.

"You look... cute.. in that uniform..." Ai
said as he walked over to her.

"R-Really..? Thank you. I feel
  nervous today.." Lily said in a shy tone.

"It's okay, you're with me and I'm
  with you. There's nothing to be
  nervous about." Ai patted Lily's head.

"(Now I'm the one being patted on the
  head.. does he treat me like a child
  now? Any way, he's still adorable..)"
  Lily's thoughts as she smiled at Ai.

"Let's go? :D" Ai smiled as he picked
up his bag.

"Yeah.. oh wait!" Lily ran over to her
room and hugged the cat Lily. "See you
  later, Lily. Behave yourself, okay?" Lily
said to the cat.

"Meow :3" The cat just meowed at Lily.

"You really like Lily don't you?" Ai said
  as he stood in front of the the door. "
  because of you, I like her just as
  much as you do." Ai walked in and
  patted the cat.

"Ai-kun.." Lily couldn't help but blush
 as she stared at Ai's face that was
 lovingly gazing at both her and their cat.

The two left after spending a few minutes
 with their beloved pet cat. They went to
 school together.

while on their way to school..

Ai just can't stop smiling.

"Ai-kun?" Lily tilted her head
 as she wondered.

"Hm?" Ai wondered as well.

"Are you alright? You've been
  smiling all this time. Is your
  system starting to malfunction
  or..?" Lily asked Ai with a very
  worried expression.

"Huh..?! Nooo. No, no." Ai shook
  his head twice "I'm alright. It's
  just that I'm happy I can finally
  go to school with Lily. Now
  I'll have 'fun' in school because
  all of my friends are there."
  Ai said cheerfully.

"I-Is that so? I'm happy you
  think like that, Ai-kun.." Lily smiled.

The two finally reached the school.
Camus saw them and walked up
 to them.

"You? Why are YOU here? ...
  wait.. that uniform.. Don't tell me.."
  Camus curiously asked Lily.

"It's just exactly as what you see!"
 A voice from behind spoke.
"Ohayou, Myuuu~chan! ^-^" It was Reiji.

"K-Kotobuki?! You know about this??"
 Camus raised a brow and asked Reiji.

"Of course I do! >;3 I was the one whom
  Ai-Ai asked for help. ;3" Reiji answered
  proudly and winked at the three.

"Reiji-kun.. Thank you for helping Ai."
 Lily thanked him in a shy tone.

"Good morning, Lily-chan!~ Oh no,
  you're very welcome. I'd love to
  help you guys anytime! ^-^" Reiji
  said as he wrapped his arms around
  both Lily and Ai.

"Thank you Reiji." Ai thanked him.

"No problem, Ai-Ai~! ^w^" Reiji
 answered cheerfully.

"Why is Ranmaru-kun not with you guys?"
Lily wondered and asked about Ranmaru.

"Hm? Kurosaki.. I have not seen him around yet."
 Camus said with a serious expression.

"Ohh? Ran-Ran is not here today? Aww
  just when it is Lily's first day here T^T"
  Reiji said.

"Too bad. I wanted to have fun with
  everyone today. Ranmaru is not here.."
  Ai said in a disappointed tone.

"It's okay Ai-kun, we can always have fun
  with everyone. But maybe tomorrow! :)"
  Lily tried to cheer up Ai and patted his head.

They all proceeded to their classrooms
and Lily was called over by Ringo,
she was asked to introduce herself to everyone.

"Hi everyone, my name is Emily Venus but you can
  just call me Lily. I entered here as a composer..
  I hope we all get along.." Lily shyly introduced herself.

"Wait a minute" Ai suddenly spoke up.

"What's wrong Ai-chan?" Ringo tilted his head and asked.

"I'm the only who can get along with her" Ai said so normally.

"What the hell? You want that cute girl all to yourself, Mikaze?!"
A male classmate stood up, hitting his desk, and complained.

"Oi, oi, calm down, everyone! ^-^' " Ringo tried to stop them.

"A-Ai-kun......." Lily smiled apologetically to everyone.

"Ai-Ai.. what about us? We're Lily-chan's friends too.
  Also.. that sounded really selfish, ;o" Reiji said in
  a jokingly manner.

"Quartet Night is an exception. Is this what is like
  to be selfish? Well I'd rather be selfish forever then."
Ai crossed his arms and legs, then raised his head up
like he's already made up his mind.

"Now, now, Ai-chan, you can't do that. Everyone must
  get along well with each other, okay? If you don't let
  Lily-chan get along with others, she will get mad at
  you! Do you want that? >:(?" Ringo explained and
 tried to scare Ai.

"M-Mad? You mean Lily will hate me?.... Okay then..
  I'll let her do what she wants.. But she'll get along
  best with me." Ai insisted.

Lily just couldn't but adore everything Ai does.
However some thought that what Ai said
was weird. Ai and the others ignored it anyway.

"Ai-kun, even if I get to meet other people, there's
  no way I would leave you, ever!" Lily said to
 Ai as she walked up to her seat.

"Really? T-Thank you, Lily..." Ai smiled at her.

As Lily went back to her seat, the classes have begun.

Lily's seat was just next to Ai. She's so nervous
in her first day, her hands begun to shiver.

"Lily..?" Ai muttered as he glanced over to Lily.
"Her hands are shivering.." He said in a low voice.

"(God, I am actually so nervous..)" Lily bit her bottom lip
and lay down her head on top of her desk, hiding her face.

Ai paused for a moment and thought she was "Cute".
He smiled after and reached out his hand to hers.
"Hey Lily" he held her hand. "It's okay, don't
  be nervous." Ai comforted her.

Lily looked at Ai and blushed again, she nodded
and hurriedly turned away. "(Doki-doki! There it
 goes again! MY HEART!)" She faced Ai again and
 said, "Thank you Ai-kun." then Ai let go of her hand and just smiled.

After 2 hours, it's about time for their break.
Everyone went to the cafeteria however
Quartet Night was left in their room.

"Lily-chaaan~!" Reiji hurriedly walked up
 to Lily and kept messing with her hair.
"You are soooo kawaiiii, I think that
  guy who complained when Ai-Ai
  wanted you all to himself liiiiikes you! >w<"
Reiji joked as he did random cute things to Lily.

"S-Stop it Reiji-kun" Lily kindly asked Reiji
 as she struggled from Reiji's pinches and etc.
"I don't think so... after all, there are alot more
  pretty girls here so.. nope." Lily insisted.

"Oh look, Cinderella's here." Ranmaru
suddenly arrived and said so as he enered the door.

"And by Cinderella, you meant yourself?" Ai
 asked, with no ill intentions. xD..

"BAKA! Not me! I meant her!!" Ranmaru, like usual,
violently reacted and pointed at Lily.

"Cinderella? Venus? How come?" Camus asked.

"ARGGHH JOKE RUINED, K BYE" Ranmaru just
walked in and now he's gonna walk out.

However Reiji stopped him and jumped on his back.
"RAN-RAAAAAN! Dun leave meh! I am so lonely
 without chuuu~! T^T Myu-chan won't speak
  at all so I can't without violent Ran-Ran! T^T"
Reiji said as he struggled against Ranmaru's
resistance.

"GET OFF, REIJI! You're too heavy!!! >:@@@"
 Ranmaru tried to resist and tried to get
 Reiji off his back by running around the hall.

"Woooo piggy-back ride! \(^o^)~" Reiji
 cheerfully said as they ran around.

".....I'm surrounded by idiots." Camus said
 as he placed his hands on his forehead.
"It gives me a headache =_=" he said.

"Come on, Ran-ran, tell me, why were
  you late? Were you distracted by cats
  on the streets again or did you overslept
  because you watched too much cat
  videos and slept late? tell me, tell me! :D"
Reiji kept bugging Ranmaru.

"Leave me alone you pest >:@"
Ranmaru kept running away
from Reiji.

"At least everyone is here now."
Ai said.

As the two kept being so childish,
Ai caught Lily laughing, her smile was
a genuine one.

Ai moved so close to Lily's face and said,
"You're having fun" with a happy expression.
"You are.. having fun? Aren't you? You're
  having fun, right?" He asked again.

"H-Huh? O-Oh, yeah! Yes I am..
  T-Thank you A-Ai-kun.." Lily answered him.

"Thank goodness.." Ai muttered, then
smiled, a sign of relief. "That's good.."
Ai patted Lily's head.

"It's also good that you're always smiling now.
  I am glad to see Ai-kun show so many expressions.
  It's very amazing.. and it makes me happy!"
Lily told Ai and smiled back with a blushing face.

The both just smiled at each other.

And it wasn't that long until classes had to
continue.. while their teachers are discussing,
and everyone is seriously listening..

Ryuuya turned around and watched his class
as they write what he asked them to. However,
he noticed Ai not doing anything.

Ai was just sitting there, his cheeks rest
on his palm and he kept tilting his head to
watch Lily do work.

"............" Ryuuya glared at Ai.

"(Lily is so cute in any angle, isn't she? Hmm..)"
Ai wondered as he kept staring at Lily.

Ryuuya has snapped. "MI...KA....ZEEEE!!!!"
he yelled out to Ai and everyone was surprised
and also scared at the same time.

"Kyaa! S-Scary, Ryuuya-sensei.. O_O" Lily said
in a low voice. She looked at Ai that was lovingly
staring at her. "U..Uhm.. A-Ai-kun..??" She wondered.

"Hmm? :D" Ai asked, it seemed that he did not hear
 Ryuuya's voice at all. "What is it, Lily?" he asked her.

"Um.. R-Ryuuya-sensei is.." Lily pointed at Ryuuya.

"!!!!! O_O" Ai looked surprise. "Y-Yes?"
Ai asked nervously.

"MIKAZE!!! YOU ARE DISTRACTED! WHY AREN'T
  YOU DOING WHAT I ASKED YOU ALL TO DO?! >:@"
Ryuuya complained and demanded Ai's answer.

"More like attracted.. =_="
The male student who complained to Ai before
commented.

"Oh my" Ringo tried to hide his smile
 by covering his mouth with his hand.

"WHAT" Camus's cool posture was
disrupted as he suddenly choked on his
drink, for he is already done with his task.

"ROFL" Ranmaru is amused again
He rolled on the floor and kept laughing.

"A-Attracted..?" Lily asked. "(TO ME?!)"
She looked like as if she couldn't believe it.

"I told you so, that guy likes you, Lily-chan!"
Reiji snapped his fingers and told Lily.

"What are you saying? Okay, I apologize
  Ryuuya-sensei. I will do it now." Ai
 responded calmly this time.

"You were surprised. You were nervous.
  Now you are calm. Are you okay"
A female student who was on the other
side of Ai's seat asked Ai.

"I was.. surprised.. and.. nervous?
  Ai paused and smile. "I'm okay."
  He answered the girl.

"Weirdo" The girl turned away.

"(Oh no you don't do that to Ai-kun)"
Lily was pissed off by the girl, but she
didn't let it bother her any further.

After that scene that Ai caused..
Everyone went silent and focused
on their tasks.

"(I was surprised.. I was nervous..
  and I was attracted..? I'm attracted
  to.. Lily..)" Ai's thoughts while
  doing his tasks.

"(Ai-kun is.. attracted... to me..?
   No, no, I can't assume. I must not.
    Anyway, I should stop thinking
   about this! >_<)" Lily tried to keep
 her head from imagining too many
 things by shaking it and continued
 to do her works.

After the two finished their tasks,
Ai gently poked Lily.

Lily turned around and faced
him, giving him a wondering look.

"o.o?" Lily's question is already
painted all over her expression.

Ai laughed then he called her "Magnet"

Lily raised a brow and wondered.
"(Magnet? I'm a magnet? He's attracted
   to me?)"

Ai just laughed and continued to listen
to the discussions. Lily stopped wondering
about it because she can't focus and
just decided to listen to the discussions as well.
