3rd Year, Ravenclaw Common Room
Naomi's POV

"So...do you like him?"
I groaned. Maria was my best friend, but she got on my nerves sometimes. Scorpius was nice enough, but I wasn't sure about his friend, Albus. I didn't think he liked me much, although I wasn't sure why.  I didn't answer her, and pulled out my Transfiguration homework. It was easy enough. Maria and I studied together in silence for a while, but I knew she was bursting to ask me about what happened on the carriage.
After I had finished my homework, I went to the Slytherin common room, to see Scorpius. Albus came to the door and by the expression on his face, he was not pleased to see me. He reluctantly let me in and told me that Scorpius was in the dormitory doing his homework. I walked up the stone stairs, and knocked on the dormitory door. It creaked open, and Scorpius peered out.
"Albus?"
His cheeks were flushed and he looked so funny standing there with his robes crumpled and his hair sticking up.
"It's me, silly," I giggled. Albus appeared behind me, his face lit in a smile as he saw Scorpius. It was like watching the sun come out from behind a cloud. Scorpius blushed.
"Sorry. Hey, Naomi! How are you?"
I smiled.
"I'm good. I came to ask you if you wanted to come to Hogsmeade with me this weekend? Albus, you could come too, if you want. Maria is coming, she'd like someone to go with," I replied. The scowl returned to Albus's face, more prominent than ever before. He opened his mouth to reply, but Scorpius hurriedly answered for him.
"We'd love to come. Is two o'clock good for the both of you?"
"Of course," I replied, "See you there!"

3rd Year, Hogwarts Grounds
Albus's POV

I sat under the old beech tree in the grounds, waiting for Scorpius to come out of his wizard's chess club. It was a grey, cloudy day, just like my mood. I didn't want to go to Hogsmeade - the thought of Scorpius on a date with a girl made my stomach feel horrible.
