Part 1 : Chapter 4
It was amusing to see people's reactions for Izuku. Especially when he saw looks of bewilderment - observing the League of Villains for years must have been the start of it. He wasn't sure if he was a sadistic though.
He didn't think so.
Just, he liked to see others shocked and backed into a corner. Seeing how they would handle their predicaments - like watching a movie! That was it. He wasn't sadistic, if not a little crazy.
And, you'd expect Izuku to be conflicted with the knowledge that Bakugou Katsuki would be in the same class as him. One would expect him to be angry, sad, fearful or anything!
Albeit all he felt was amusement and excitement.
Excited to see what was in store for the two of them - old friends who barely knew each other. They were strangers who knew each other's old habits.
He couldn't wait for so many things, really. He sat down and awaited classes to start when a teen way taller than him approached him. The blue haired male had greeted him in the most formal way, which Izuku was definitely not used to. He almost felt like cringing.
Don't get him wrong, he knew all about respect even as he ignored it. Did formalities and respect get him anywhere in the darkness though? Well, he had to say no.
"Hello, Midoriya-san. I am Iida Tenya. I am the Class Representative and Yaoyorozu the Vice-Class Representative." He moved his arm to point at a stunning black-haired female, "If you need anything, we are here to help. The others here are quite capable too. Welcome to U.A, let's all get along in the future!"
Besides his weird robotic arm movements, Izuku found the introduction flawless. Who said he didn't enjoy the presentation either way. He seems fun; seems to have his own quirks. Okay, I'll play along. Izuku had been smiling the entire time, very much fueled by amusement, "Nice to meet you, Class Rep. Midoriya is just fine. In fact, call me by my first name!"
The blue haired teen's right hand swung around as per usual, Izuku supposed. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I am! Call me Izuku." His innocent look slipped off for just a second, "I'm sure I'll get along just fine with all of you."
Iida hadn't noticed a thing and that was dangerous. What All Might had feared came true. People were already blinded by the brightness of that false innocence. They had almost forgotten the boy was a villain.
All except one, which the villain couldn't wait to mess with.
Lunch came late. A slow day? It was long for some and short for others.
For Izuku, it was a long day. One couldn't blame him; he hadn't been in school for a very long time.
Oh, wow. Pro-heroes who work as the cooks too. The forest-green haired teen observed the cafeteria, chin placed on the palm of his hand. He could practically feel the glares he was getting from a certain blond. His not going to say anything? Let's see how long that lasts.
He closed his eyes. I can't wait. I wonder what's he doing to do.
An apology? He could have fun with that. Mess with his brain a bit to make him feel even more guilty.
Violence? Izuku opened his eyes. There was a certain dark glow to them. That gets my blood boiling, but it would be entertaining in the end, wouldn't it? He thought of the possibilities of the end result - if ever Bakugou Katsuki attacked him.
There was the option of using self-defense as an excuse to fight him, but Izuku wasn't that stupid. He had no quirk and no weapons, both physically and tactically.
Besides, he'd rather use these things to his advantage. Imagine the headlines if he let something leak about Bakugou attacking a quirkless student who had been forced into U.A. And there'd still be more to come.
His dream would be crushed. Although, he wasn't counting on it. Oh no, there were so many options to choose from.
"So, you're Izuku Midoriya." Someone interrupted his dark thoughts. "You're mumbling is a bit scary," they said and sheepishly laughed at their statement.
Momentarily, the villain's amused smile subsided as he looked up with curiosity. Someone actually approached him first?
He looked up to see this person speaking to him. "Oh, was I mumbling?" He asked, making his voice overly friendly. A flawless and successful act; albeit he wouldn't call it an act. It was just something he did for fun, and to keep up an appearance he cultivated himself.
He watched as this person sat across him, putting down her lunch. He could look at this brunette in the eyes without any effort. He could see her featured clearly then.
Her face was sort-of round, he had to admit; it wasn't in a bad way. Rather, it made her rather cute. Her rosy cheeks brought that statement closure to the truth. Her short brown hair matched well with her features too. Having a good look at her, he could focus on her words.
He could focus on his own thoughts and his own plots on making this interaction worthwhile.
Perhaps to amuse himself.
"I hadn't even noticed I was speaking out loud," he said genuinely, "You think it's scary?"
She laughed. "I was mostly joking, but it is a little bit. It's like you're plotting something."
He raised his eyebrows - making himself overly expressive - and pointed two finger guns at her. "How did you know?"
This made her laugh.
Izuku let out a small chuckle. He crossed his arms, while he watched her take the first few bites of her lunch. It wasn't the first time he'd been friendly with people he shouldn't have been with, but it was never a problem with him. He'd always been in his persona to the very end.
"You know," he started, which caught her attention immediately, "I didn't think anybody would approach me, considering why I am here in the first place."
She didn't say anything, but once she'd fully comprehended what he has said, she perked up. "Oh!" Her eyes widened in realization, "I didn't even mean to, actually. This is just usually where I sit with my friend, but he had to go to a meeting with Yaoyorozu. I didn't even think, really."
He tilted his head. She didn't even think? Not even when she saw me and knew who I was. Something overcame him; his hand reached his mouth. "Pffffft-" Midoriya tried to hold back his laughter.
She's quite the oblivious one, isn't she? Perhaps foolish?
The said female looked startled by his reaction but frowned as he exclaimed: "You're weird!"
"Hey!" She rebuked, but he knew she hadn't been offended.
"Hey, hey, young-lady-with-no-name. You called me scary, so we're even." He tried to compose himself, managing somehow. She looked away, but in the end, she shook her head with a smile. "My name's Uraraka Ochako. I guess, it's nice to meet you."
