Today at the castle, you were sitting on the sofa, watching your favorite show of all time.

Meggy: Hiya Y/N!!

She sat down and kissed you on the cheek, making you smile, but a little confused as to why she was moving her lips but no sound was coming out.

Meggy: Is something wrong?..

Y/N: What?

Meggy: I said, is there something wrong?..You look confused..

Y/N: What?!

Meggy: I said-

She pauses and thinks, then her heart sank..

Meggy: Wait a minute..

She then grabbed a random white board and a marker, popping the cap off, she began to write down some words for you to read. Once she was done, she revealed the sentence.

"You can't hear?"

You shook your head no, then you began to panic, you don't remember losing your hearing..

Meggy: Hey..hey! Y/N! Please don't panic!

You didn't listen since you can't hear her, she reacted quickly and gently hugged you, slowing down your breathing..

Meggy: Shhhh...I know you can't hear me..but..I'll find a way to get your hearing back..

She says before brushing your hair with her fingers, calming you down a little more, you sigh with content and smile. Meggy then signs to you, "Better?"

You nod.

Meggy gave you a nod back and wrote on the white board.

"Don't worry, I'll be back with a solution."

You smile even more and gave her a thumbs up. Then you watch as Meggy got up from the sofa, but before she left, she tosses you your special plush for comfort.

You hug the plush, making her giggle.

Meggy: You're welcome.

She then makes her way to an old friends lab..

Zirax: Darn thing always malfunctioning..

He pulls out a hard drive and sighs after seeing it's covered in pasta sauce.

Zirax: Of course, I should've known..

He says in disappointment before tossing his hardrive away. Meggy opens the door to his workspace and enters carefully.

Meggy: Hey Zi..

Zirax: Meggy? What are you doing here?

Meggy: Sorry, hope I wasn't interrupting anything..

Zirax: I lack patience..so tell me, what's wrong?

Meggy: Well this just happened out of the blue, Y/N lost his hearing..

Zirax grew surprised and sits up.

Zirax: Did he now? How so? Was it from listening to loud music too often? Or a mild ear infection?

Meggy: I wish I knew, for all I know it's coming from his neck..

Zirax: It's possible, but fortunately, I've got a solution.

Meggy looks up with hope.

Meggy: Really? What's your solution?

Zirax searches his gadgets in his drawers and finds two small devices.

Zirax: Hearing aids.

Meggy takes them and examines the hearing aids..

Meggy: Thank you..

Zirax: Don't mention it, those should help since they're not just any old hearing aids..

Meggy raised a brow, wondering what he means.

Meggy: What do you mean?

Zirax: What I mean is, is that those hearing aids can pick up low frequency sound that no human could hear, I've ran some tests and they're the same hearing level as the extinct Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Meggy: Whoa...so..he's gonna hear like a dinosaur?!

Zirax: Basically, yeah.

Meggy: Now I've gotta see these in action! Thanks again Zi, I owe you one!

She hugs him tightly before leaving.

Zirax: Yep..

He chuckles a little before finding a spear with Kryptonite on the edge.

Zirax: Why haven't I sold this yet?

You sat there playing with the plushie by pretending she was uppercutting a Francis plush you had for some reason.

Meggy: Hi!! I'm back!

You didn't look up and kept roleplaying.

Meggy: Oh..right..

She poked your shoulder, causing you to toss both plushies away and pretend you didn't know what you were doing. Meggy laughed at you a little and sighs.

Meggy: Relax..and put these on..

She handed you two devices and examine them, you then look at her with confusion.

Meggy: You put them in your ears!

She then gestured at her ears, you understand and plant them in your ears, and almost immediately you hear a high pitched sound coming from the device which made you wince but soon the sound went away as you recovered.

Meggy: So..did they work?..

You felt a wave of relief as you hear her voice again.

Y/N: Yeah..they do..thanks Meggy..

Meggy: Anything for my cutie..

She giggled before sitting in your lap and kissing you passionately. After the kiss, you asked a question.

Y/N: So..where did you get the hearing aids?

Meggy: Zirax..

Y/N: Ah..figured-

Mario: Hey! Wanna see a magic trick?!

He says wearing a magic top hat.

Meggy: Uhh..sure Red..

Y/N: Sure..

Mario: Okie Dokie!

He says before reaching behind your ear.

Mario: What's dis behind your ear? It's a hearing aid!

He says proudly.

Y/N: What?

Meggy:..
