Intermission: Lawyer Kong signed a license and now owns Y/N, so you were a bit busy a few months ago, participating as new Smash Ultimate DLC. It was fun and all, you've made friends with a few characters there, such as Lil Mac, Ryu and many more, practically the whole roster!

But then it all changed..from the forced labor, to the poor hours, you had enough and wanted to quit, but Lawyer Kong insisted you to stay.

Y/N: I told you Lawyer Kong! No more! I've had enough!

Lawyer Kong: B-but you're a big deal around here! Without you, what will we tell the fans?! Our DLC reveal trailer releases tomorrow and we need you on stage!

Y/N: Well that sounds like a big load of not my problem, I quit!

You storm out, only to be hit with a very hot fire wall.

Y/N: What the?..

Lawyer Kong: You're not going anywhere.

Y/N: I said I quit! Let me go!

Lawyer Kong: We legally own you! So you have to obey the law!

Y/N: I'm no one's sheep, if this damn DLC is so important for you, you can do it yourself!

Lawyer Kong: I can't do it without you, you're the main star for this DLC!

Y/N: How about we make a deal then..if I star in this new DLC. Can I leave?

Lawyer Kong thinks about it..

Lawyer Kong: Okay. You've got a deal.

He held his hand out, you take it. You two shake on it, then after that, you go inside again.

Lawyer Kong: Okay, We'll get you in about five minutes, go chat with everyone else.

You go into the hang out area, where you see a couple of fighters practicing with the sandbag, as for some others are on the Switch, playing Mario Kart 8. You went over and viewed who's playing the game.

Y/N: Hey guys!

Diddy Kong saw you and waved at you with a smile.

Roy: Hey Y/N! How'd the meeting go with Lawyer Kong?

Y/N: Eh..kinda good, but I'll get over it..

Roy: Oh?..what happened?

Y/N: Another argument.

Everyone nodded, Snake then peeks out of the box.

Snake: Any reason why he's so bossy lately?

Byleth: He's probably cranky.

Ken: I don't know, we already have a Cranky Kong, maybe he's just power hungry.

Byleth: Eh, maybe..

Young Link: He gives me a bad feeling every time I'm near him..

You comfort him.

Y/N: Don't worry, he can't hurt you, otherwise, who else would play Young Link?

He realized it, and eased up.

Young Link: Y-you're right..thanks.

He hugged you, you hugged back, smiling.

Y/N: Anytime.

Lawyer Kong: Hey! Y/N! It's time!

Pit: Well, good luck Y/N!

Y/N: Thanks, I'll be back!

Your friends waved bye, as you left, Lawyer Kong leads you to the main screen. You miss Meggy and just at least want to hold her close to you, but you can't..

Tari was sitting down, ready to watch the new DLC for the new smash fighter. Everyone else sat around and watched as well.

Beta: Tari!! Relax! We don't even know who this fighter is yet!

Tari: I'm sorry!! But I'm just too excited!!

Skully: Say..where is Mario and Luigi?

SMG4: I don't know..I think they went out to do some dumb shit.

Beta: Sounds normal, anyways, play the video!!

Tari: Wait! We have to wait for Saiko, Meggy, Desti and the others! Isn't the right Archibald?

Tari: Me too!

Axol: Saiko said she'll be here soon.

Melony passed out laying on her favorite bush.

Simon: Sorry I'm late! What did I miss?

She plopped him down next to Beta.

Beta: Sup.

Simon: Hi..why am I here again?

Skully: New DLC just dropped.

Simon: Oh! I thought Sora was the last one.

Skully: Boy were we wrong.

Saiko then arrived, same with Desti.

Desti: Hey, so a new DLC?

Tari: Yea! Come on!!

She grabbed their hands and pulled them towards two spare seats and sat them down.

Tari: Now for-..who are we missing?..

Belle: Relax Tari!! You're overreacting!

Tari: I'm excited!!

Skully: Where's Meggy?

Beta: I'll text her.

Beta texted her.

Beta: Hey Meggy! Are you coming over 2 day?

Meggy: Maybe later, I have things to do.

Meggy: Just personal stuff..

Meggy quietly hummed to herself, walking down the sidewalk, bored and down, she knows you were now licensed by Nintendo, so she's a bit bummed now that you can't hang out with her as long as she likes. So she spends most of her days training alone, eating ramen by herself, isolating herself from the group, a few people took notice and were worried for her, those individuals were Saiko, Desti, Skully and Beta.

They've been worried about her since the day you were licensed, and now on the other side of that wall. But she knew if you came back into this side, then Lawyer Kong would break the promise and kick everyone out of the castle.

Meggy: *Sigh* Well..another day of boredom..why can't I at least hang out with him in the headquarters? I won't interfere, I just wanna see him again.

She made it to the rooftop and sat down, looking out in the distance, forgetting any stress.

Meggy: *Sigh* Lovely view, right Y/N?

She turns to her side.

Meggy: Y/N- Oh..right..

She looked down again, then she heard the sound of footsteps behind her. She got up and saw the Russian Orca.

Meggy: Will?..how long have you been standing there for?..

Will: Erm, just bout one second ago.

Meggy: Oh..well, did you need something?

Will: Yes..have you seen any things called rainmakers around here?..

Meggy: They're in the arena. Why?

Will: Will just wanted to know.

Meggy: Oh..okay, well you can go now.

She turns around and sat down again. Will took notice and walked over to sit next to her.

Meggy: Aren't you gonna go?..

Will: I know you aren't happy.

Meggy: What-

Will: You miss Y/N, don't you?

Meggy sighed and looks down again.

Meggy: Yes..

She looked up at him, confused.

Will: You've gotta find them within you, find your Y/N, no matter how hard life gets you, you pull through with brute strength, it was the way Will was raised, be strong, or be consumed. That's why Will never backs down from fights.

She thinks about it and smiled at him.

She hugged him, Will hugged back.

Will: Glad pep talk worked, Y/N is gonna be back, Will can always tell.

Meggy: I never knew you were able to give pep talks, you should do it more.

Will: Maybe, but Will has to find rainmaker, I need some rain.

She hands Will a splattershot.

He fired, it splattered ink on the walls, interesting the orca.

Will: Seems nice, did Y/N use one of these?

Meggy: That cutie has always used it, I'm happy for him, I really am, but does he have to he gone all day?

Will: I think so, Will has never been in company before, but like Will said, he'll be back eventually.

Meggy smiled.

Meggy: You have a point, thanks again.

Will: Of course..so training? What kind of training?..

Meggy: You'll see, follow me to the arena.

The video was playing, Tari was watching closely. SMG4 and Beta noticed.

SMG4: Tari?..

Beta: Uhhh...

Beta poked Tari's side, knowing that's her ticklish spot, but she didn't even flinch.

Beta: She's really this focused?

SMG4: I guess so..

She held both of them close to her.

The video cuts to a scene of Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, King K Rool & Banjo sleeping, until they hear something outside and wake up.

The four look outside and view closer, seeing a shadow, only for them to be bamboozled again.

It was Sephiroth in a costume.

Sephiroth: Hah! Gotcha-

Behind him was someone else, they knocked them away with their sword, revealing Y/N.

Tari: OH MY GOD!! ITS Y/N!!

Skully immediately sprayed his drink out of his blowhole.

Skully: *Cough* W-what the?-

Tari was hyperventilating and getting to excited.

Y/N intimidates the competition!

Saiko pauses the video as everyone focuses on Tari.

Belle: Tari! Breathe! Please breathe!!

They get her to calm down.

Tari: O-oh..sorry..

She said rubbing the back of her head, blushing.

Beta: It's fine, just relax..you had us all worried.

He pecked her cheek.

Beta: But hey, Y/N got into Smash, pretty interesting. Wonder what is move set will he like.

Meggy was out in the field. Looking at Will who was playing with a butterfly as it lands on his hand.

Meggy: So this is what you do during your free time?

Will: Yes, Will likes big winged dragon thingies.

Meggy: Those are called butterflies.

Will: Butterfly?..is it a fly with butter?

Meggy: No silly, on your hand, that's called a butterfly.

Will: Oh..we never had butterfly on Russia.

Meggy: I can see that.

Once you were done performing, you head back to the main lobby.

Lil Mac: Hey! Nice performance there Y/N!

Samus: Very good job.

Y/N: Thanks, has anyone seen Lawyer Kong?

Isabelle: I think so, he's in his office.

Y/N: Right, thanks Isabelle.

Isabelle: No worries!

You walk away and enter his office.

Lawyer Kong: Ah, there's my super star!

Y/N: I thought Mario was your super star?

Lawyer Kong: Eh, he's ok..but you, you're on fire! Never had a hit since Mario Maker 2!

Y/N: I bet, say..can I go back to my friends?..

Lawyer Kong: You have friends here.

Y/N: I know that, I meant my other friends.

Lawyer Kong: Why do you care so much about those guys? You don't need to be friends with them! You have a bunch of buddies here to look out for you! About 80 friends! More than what you had before.

Y/N: Look, I don't care how many friends I have here, I care about the ones who live in that castle, they love me for who I am, they care for me, they help me out of tough situations whenever I run into one, sure, the people here are helpful and all, but it feels like a prison here! And most importantly, I have someone who I truly love.

Lawyer Kong: So what? There are plenty of good looking girls here, like Samus, Pyra, Shiek-

Y/N: They are my friends, not my girlfriends..the one I have is special to me, but she's on the other side of that wall..

Lawyer Kong: I see..

Y/N: All I want to do is go to her and tell her that I love her.

Lawyer Kong: Hmm, I see what's going on here..

Lawyer Kong: You're infected from the outside world..you can't focus because of them! We gotta take drastic measures now..

Two guards came in and grabbed you by the arms.

You were dragged away into the underground lab, where the tossed you into a chamber.

Y/N: W-wait..what are you doing?..

Guard: You're gonna be cleaned, be much better than before!

Y/N: What are you talking about?..

Guard: Trust me, it's for the best.

Y/N: N-No. no no no! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!

You banged on the doors, trying to open them up, but to no avail.

Scientist: Okay! It's ready, press the button!

The guard does so, and gas began to spread inside of the chamber, you panicked and began to ram against the metal door, still not budging..

You felt weak, falling to your knees, shedding a tear. You knew what was going to happen..

You grabbed a photo of Meggy and you and smiling at it.

Y/N: I'm sorry Meggy....

You said before blacking out.

(Damn! That was intense!)
