What if - You accidently shifted to Hogwarts, taking Naruto Uzumaki with you?

Your pov. 

You had never planned for this to happen. Yet you now stood there with a look of disbelief in your eyes. 

How the hell-?!

 See, you were a shifter. A professional one, if you may say so. Still, you were quite surprised about the events that occurred right now. You just couldn't believe it. 

Naruto Uzumaki. In Hogwarts! 

You watched with troubled eyes as he interacted with the different students you recognised from the Harry Potter universe, and couldn't stop wondering how and why this had happened. 

He wore the same uniform as the rest of the people, yet he somehow stood out. Maybe it was because you knew him more than anyone here, or because you knew what universe he was from. You clenched your teeth. 

As much as you loved his character, you were just not sure what that would have as consequences. It could be a disaster, for all you knew, and your were more than just certain, that at some point, shit was just bound to happen. 'Cause let's be honest, the blonde Jinchuriki was more than just a magnet for trouble. As was the Golden Trio, you remembered, already feeling the upcoming headache. 

I don't get paid enough for this shit. 

Massaging your temples, you tried to remember. You had been in Konoha... Saying goodbye to your friends, ready to shift, as your best friend grabbed your hand, interrupting the process, resulting in him being sucked to Hogwarts alongside you. It had been too late to shake him off, he had a firm grip, at least that was something you had to admit. 

"Umm, so, you know any spells?", Harry suddenly asked the blonde, and you almost choked. 

Shit- 

Naruto looked confused for a second, until he remembered what you had told him earlier. 

"Uh-huh. A few. (Y/n)-chan showed me some." 

You breathed out, still feeling uneasy, as they began to talk about different spells and their doing. You stopped listening, but heard the words 'Patronus charm'... 

A little later you walked around the corridors absent-minded. Naruto was next to you, blabbering about all the new things he'd seen and experienced. You didn't really care, since you thought about how to fix this mess. 

"-so I wanted to ask what a 'Patronus' would be, exactly, ya know?", he asked, not even realising that you didn't listen to him. 

Your eyebrows were drawn together in concentration, as you were trying to focus on the task at hand, but on him as well. "Hm? Oh, that's something like Kurama..." 

His eyes began to shine, filling themselves with excitement and understanding. 

"Ah, I get it now. Thanks, (y/n)-chan!" 

Your contained a simple "Hm-hm..." 

Oh how you'd regret that... 

Just a week later - a week! - you found yourself in a situation beyond everything you'd imagined. It was pure chaos. 

Students ran across the halls, crying in fear, panicking, at the bright orange creature in the middle of the Great Hall. The nine-tailed fox stood proudly between the tables. Moments before you'd been able to catch a glimpse onto a blue Patronus - it had been Harry's, if you remembered correctly. It wasn't hard to put the pieces together. 

"Oh Naruto...", your murmured angrily, even though you weren't really mad at him. You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath. Then you stepped over to them, tapping your left foot onto the ground. "Naruto... What happened here?" A slight warning showed itself in your tone. Naruto was oblivious to it, not noticing the red mark that began to form on your forehead. The Golden Trio took cautiously a step back.

"Ah, (y/n)-chan!" He said happily. "We were just talking about that Patronus-thing, so I wanted to show them Kurama!" 

You mentally facepalmed yourself. Then you murmured quietly; "Now that'll be fun to explain Snape." Or Dumbledore, you reminded yourself quietly. 

"Ah, if that isn't cute little (y/n)-chan! Our little shifter... How's it been going?", the dark voice of Kurama growled. He grinned.

A sigh escaped your lips. "Pretty well. Though it was not part of a plan to bring you two with me. Care to exlain why you didn't try and stop Naruto?" 

He laughed a little. "Now come on, he seemed to want you to stay so much. Besides, I was a little curious too." 

"I told you there were ways to contact me!" 

"So? Isn't it adorable how he'd miss you?" 

"I- of course but- that's not the point!" 

"Oi, Kurama! Stop telling other people's secrets!", Naruto shouted up to the fox, who just laughed; 

"As if that'd been a secret!"

Naruto's cheek burned with embarassement, while you just shook your head. The students around you hadn't stopped running, so it was just a matter of time until-

"(Y/n) (L/n)! What is the meaning of all this?!"

There it was. McGonnagall stood a few metres away from you, a look of utter disbelief in her eyes. Behind her you could see Snape and Dumbledore. Last one alerted, but still calm, while the first one looked more than cold. 

I'm screwed. 

"Um, hi?" 

"What is this giant fox thing?! And how did it get here?!" 

You laughed weakly, trying to smile. An animedrop on your forehead. "That's- actually a funny story-"

"Then you better start explaining!", McGonnagall stated shakingly. You gulped. 

"Now that's something.", Ron spoke quietly to his friends. They nodded.
