I awoke the next morning seeing Merry walking around in front of me a little ways. I stood up slowly and rubbed the sleepiness away from my eyes. As I did, I noticed that the gash on my arm was gone. I stared in awe and felt it. It was back to my normal smooth skin.

"Merry?" I said.

He looked up to me and started walking toward me.

"Look, I'm better! Is your arm good?" asked Merry.

I was confused. I held up my arm for him to see.

"Yah, my arms healed. What happened?"

"Last night I awoke to a really bright light shining on us. I could barley open my eyes to it. The only thing I saw was a silhouette of a tall person, but the light was too blinding for me to see who it was. The light was there for maybe...10 seconds. Then I realized I felt much better. I felt my forehead. No scrap. I felt my neck. No bump. After that I couldn't go back to sleep, so I wandered around,"

"What was it? The light I mean." I asked.

"I don't know, that's why I got up to investigate,"

"Did you find anything?" "No, just listening to the trees talk,"

"What?"

"This is Fangorn Forest. In here, the trees talk and come alive,"

"Alive?"

All of a sudden from behind us an orc appeared.

"There you are!" it snarled.

We were caught so off guard we gasped. It started running after us, enormously sharp sword in hand, and we began to run too, the other way. Deeper into Fangorn Forest...
