Season 1 - Part 1

Note: I DO NOT own The Owl House or One Punch Man so don't report me. This is for entertainment purposes only and I hope you enjoy this chapter.

It has been a year since the attack at the dojo as a 14 year old Luz was the only one who remained to learn from Bang as she learns advanced techniques.

Luz was even given lessons in the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist from Bang's elder brother, Bomb, improving her martial arts skills even further.

She was currently doing stances and poses with the two elderly masters before coming to an end.

Bang: That will be all for today, Luz.

Bomb: Young Luz, you show great skill and promise. Not to mention you are a quick learner. Your skill in the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist is almost as great as your skill in my brother's style.

Luz: Thank you Master Bang, Master Bomb. But there's something I have to tell you.

Bang: What is it, Luz?

Luz: I got into a fight with some bullies at school and was sent to the Principal's office a few days ago. Plus, I kinda get lost in my love for fantasy stuff. So now my mom's sending me to Summer Camp and I'll be gone for three months. I'm really sorry, masters.

Bomb: There's no need to apologize, Luz.

Luz: But, there's still so much for me to learn. I-

Bomb: Just get back when you can, Luz. We'll be waiting.

Luz: . . . Okay.

She says, giving them a hug.

Luz: See you in three months.

She says, grabbing her stuff before exiting the dojo.

The next day, Luz was standing outside her house wearing her normal clothing as Camila walks up to her.

Camila: Now don't worry, summer camp is only going to be for three months. You'll be so busy balancing checkbooks, appreciating public radio, the time will fly by.

Luz: But I don't like any of that stuff, mom. I like editing anime clips to music, reading fantasy books with convoluted backstories and practicing my martial arts.

Camila: Mija, your fantasy world is holding you back. Do you have any friends? Real ones, not anything imaginary. And besides, you beat up four students.

Luz: They were bullying people, mom. I couldn't just ignore that.

Camila: But did you have to hurt them so badly?

Luz: . . . Maybe?

Camila sighs.

Camila: Let's just be glad that they didn't end up in the hospital and that their parents didn't press charges. Summer camp is a chance for you to make friends, but you'll have to try. Can you do that for me?

Luz: . . . Yes, mom.

She says, putting her Good Witch Azura book in the trash can.

Camila: Okay. I have to go to work now.

She says before giving her kisses on cheek.

Camila: Your bus is coming soon. Text me when you get there.

She then says goodbye to her daughter in spanish before heading out to work.

Luz waved her goodbye until she was out of sight. Luz then quickly looks inside the trash can only to see that her book was gone.

She then noticed a tiny owl holding a sack in it's mouth and in that sack was her book. The tiny owl then hops away.

Luz: Tiny trash thief!

She yells, running after the tiny owl into a forest. She then stops upon seeing an old, abandoned house in the distance. But the tiny owl kept going towards the open door.

Luz: Get back here!

She yells, running at full speed. The tiny owl freaked out upon seeing that Luz was gaining on him pretty quickly.

Luz: Stop adorably hopping away you little thief!

She yells, jumping towards the tiny owl, into the door and grabbing the tiny owl in her hand.

Luz: Bad little owl! Bad! I-

She cut herself off after noticing she was in some sort of tent.

Luz: What is this place?

She says, exiting the tent only to see a woman with white/grey hair, wearing a red dress in a stand with all sorts of items.

The woman then turns to notice her.

Woman: Who are you? . . . Hey, what are you doing with Owlbert?!

She yelled as Luz lets the tiny owl go.

Luz: Sorry, but this is mine.

She says, taking her book out of the sack and turning around to leave only for the portal to close.

Woman: You're not going anywhere.

Luz: Stay back! I know martial arts and I'm not afraid to fight!

Woman: Fight you? Why would I fight a potential customer?

Luz: Customer?

She says, confused as the woman offers her several human items, but naming them as the wrong things. Such as thinking that a deodorant was green human candy. Even a tv, thinking it was a box that reflects sadness.

Luz laughs, taking the tv, putting in batteries and turning it on to a channel that features a man dancing. The music started to attract a crowd as they all wanted to buy the tv.

Eda: What did you say your name was?

Luz: I'm Luz. Luz Noceda.

Woman: Well, Luz, that was pretty clever. For a human.

Luz: That's kind of a weird thing for another human to say.

Woman: Oh, dear child, I'm not like you.

She says, taking off her a cloth from her head and revealing her pointed ears.

Woman: I'm Eda, the Owl Lady, the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles!

Luz: A witch?

Eda: I am a respected, feared-

Guard: Busted.

A man in armor says, the crowd running away on sight.

Guard: Eda the Owl Lady, you are wanted for misuse of magic and demonic demeanors!

He says while holding up a wanted poster of her.

Guard: I will now take you to the Conformatorium.

Eda: Would you guys quit following me around?! I haven't done squat!

Guard: And you're coming too!

He says, grabbing Luz by the arm.

Luz: Me?! On what charge?!

Guard: For fraternizing with a criminal.

Luz: I don't think so.

She says, kicking the guard in the face, prompting him to let go of the teen. Luz then gets into a stance and rushes the guard, hitting him with over a dozen blows before knocking him out cold.

Eda: Nice one, kid!

She says, using magic to take down her stand along with the items, condensing them into a bag that she carries over her shoulders.

Eda: We should scram, follow me!

She says as Luz runs along with Eda, hopping onto her magic staff as they fly into the air.

Luz: Okay . . . flying staffs, crazy monsters, you're a witch. What is this place?

Eda: This is the Boiling Isles. Every myth you humans have is caused by a little of our world leaking into yours.

She said as a giant griffin flew beside them, screeching and breathing spiders from it's mouth.

Luz: I knew it!

Eda: Yep. Griffins, vampires, giraffes.

Luz: Giraffes?

Eda: Oh, yeah. We banished those guys. Bunch of freaks.

She said as they landed in front of her house.

Luz: Aren't you worried those guards will find this place?

Eda: Nah. My house has a state-of-the-art defense system.

Hooty: Hoot, hoot. Password, please.

Eda pokes him in the eyes.

Eda: We don't have time for this, Hooty. Let us in.

Hooty: All right, all right. Geez. You never want to have any fun. Ow . . . hoot!

He says before opening the door for them.

Eda: Welcome to the Owl House.

She says, snapping her fingers as dozens of candles light up the place.

Eda: This is where I hide away from the pressures of modern life. Also the cops. And ex-boyfriends.

Luz: Your house is beautiful. You live here by yourself?

There were loud thuds coming from upstairs.

Eda: Actually, I have a roommate.

???: Who dares intrude upon I, the King of Demons?!

Says a tiny furry demon with a skull for a face and horns, wearing a towel by the waist and squeezing a rubber ducky.

Luz gasped, tackling the creature and scooping him into her arms.

Luz: Eda, he is SO CUTE! Who's a widdle guy? Who's a widdle guy? Is it you? Is it you?

She squealed as she gave him a squeeze.

King: No! I don't know who your little guy is! Eda! Who is this monster?!

Eda: Oh, this is Luz the human. She's here to help us with our little situation.

King: Oh, hooray!

Luz: Wait a minute, I don't like the sound of this "situation."

Eda: Just let me explain. King was once a mighty King of Demons, until his crown of power was stolen, and he became . . . this.

Luz: You mean this little bundle of joy?

She says, hugging the little demon.

Eda: The crown is being held by Warden Wrath, and locked away behind a magical force field only a human can break through. If you help us get the crown back, I'll send you back to the human world. So what do ya say?

Luz: Well . . . if this Warden Wrath's an evil dungeon boss, then it'd be a great opportunity to put my skills to the test. Okay, let's do it.

Luz, Eda & King get on the Owl Lady's magic staff, flying to a place called the Conformatorium.

Eda then tells them the plan as she sends Luz & King up a tower window. They then made their way to the prison cells, meeting a bunch of prisoners that were locked up for being weird.

Luz: Don't worry, I'll get you guys out.

She says, lifting up the levers, opening their cell doors. They thanked Luz before leaving.

They then heard footsteps approaching, Luz quickly closed the open cell doors, going into an empty one with King and closing the door as the Warden Wrath appears.

He talks to himself about finally capturing Eda the Owl Lady before walking off.

Once the coast was clear, Luz exits the cell and makes their way to the top of the tower where they meet up with Eda.

They then enter an enormous room with the magic barrier up ahead.

Luz then goes through the force field without any issues. She came back out with King's crown, which was actually a paper Burger Queen crown.

King: Yes . . . yes! I can feel my powers returning!

Luz: That crown doesn't actually give him any powers, does it?

Eda: Nope.

She says as Luz looks at her in disappointment.

Eda: Oh, look at us, Luz. King and I don't have much in this world, only each other. So if that dumb crown is important to him, it's important to me, too. Besides, us weirdos gotta stick together, you know?

She says, making Luz smile.

Eda: Now let's get out of here before the warden finds us and loses his head.

Warden Wrath: Too late.

He says, slicing Eda's head, landing in Luz's arms as the teen screams.

Eda: Ow! Oh, I hate it when that happens.

Luz screams even louder, shocked by the fact that Eda was somehow still alive.

Luz: Eda, are you okay?!

Eda: Yeah, this just happens when you get older.

Luz: It does?

Warden Wrath: I finally have you, Eda the Owl Lady.

Eda: What do you want with me?! I've never broken any of your stupid laws . . . in front of you!

Warden Wrath: I want you . . . to go out with me.

He says, taking out a bouquet of flowers, leaving everyone in confusion as the guards give him a thumbs up.

Warden Wrath: You've always eluded our capture. You were always the one that got away. I found that alluring.

Luz: I hate everything you're saying right now.

Warden Wrath: You stay out of this!

He yelled, his arm stretching out to grab Luz as she drops Eda.

Warden Wrath: So how about it, Owl Lady? The most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles and the feared Warden Wrath. We'd be the strongest power couple ever. I mean, it's not like you can say no right now.

Luz: You can force her to go out with you, you jerk!

She yells, hitting the warden's arms with a series of fierce blows.

Warden Wrath yells in pain as he lets go of Luz, dropping her. Luz quickly gets up, charging towards the warden and hounded him with fast and powerful blows.

He lets go of Eda's head to which Luz quickly caught. She then grabs her body, grabs King and Eda's stuff. She tried to make the magic staff fly them away but nothing happened.

Luz: How do you work this thing?!

Eda: Gun it, magic stick!

She says, making her staff fly them out of the room.

Warden Wrath: Owl Lady, I won't let you get away again!

He yells, using his arms to follow after them. They all ended up outside as they fell into what looked like an arena.

The Warden had just caught up to them, his hands morphing into axes.

Luz then gets into a stance, ready for a fight and using her hand to motion for the warden to come at her.

Warden Wrath charges in, attempting to hit the teen with his axe hands only for Luz to duck. She then did a spinning kick, hitting the Warden in the face as his mask came off.

Luz then jumps and kicks him in the head, her foot being brought down like an axe as he fell to the ground. His eyes widened in shock.

Luz then does a triple backflip, landing next to Eda & King as the warden stood up.

He then breathes fire towards them to which they quickly got out of the way.

Luz then rushes towards the Warden, he does the same as they continue their fight. Luz got in a lot of hits, the Warden tried to hit Luz. The teen was too fast for him, however, as she just kept dodging all his attacks, following with counter attacks.

Eda: Get out of the way, human!

The Owl Lady yelled as Luz looked to see Eda preparing a magic spell.

Luz dropped to the floor, sweeping the Warden's legs as she makes him fall on his back.

Luz then jumps out of the way as Eda fires a huge blast of magic. Warden Wrath screams in pain as he was caught in a huge explosion.

Eda: Let's get out here!

She says as they all get on her staff, taking off into the skies.

They eventually made it back to the Owl House, entering it as King laughs in excitement.

King: That was amazing! You were beating up Warden Wrath without magic!

Eda: Yeah, even I'm surprised. Where'd you learn all that?

Luz: Oh, well, that was just the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. I've been training in martial arts since I was ten with Master Bang.

Eda: A master, huh? Well, this Bang guy must be an amazing teacher.

Luz: Yeah, he is. He's the greatest martial artist in the human world.

King: Can you teach me this water spear stone smashing fist?

Luz: If you really want to, sure. But I'm still a student, nowhere near as good as Master Bang.

Eda: As fun as it'd be to watch King fail miserably in learning how to fight, a deal's a deal.

She says, opening a portal to the human realm.

Luz: . . . Actually, Eda, I think I'll stay here.

Eda: Huh?

Luz: Back in the human world, I don't really fit in. You guys don't fit in here either. So I figure we could not fit in together. Plus, I'd like to learn magic too. In every fantasy game I play, I'm always a Monk-Mage class. That's a martial artist that can use magic. So I figured the Boiling Isles would be a great opportunity for me. Plus, today was the most fun I've ever had.

Eda: Well, I could use a hand keeping this goofball out of the cupboards.

She says, referring to King.

Eda: All right. I'll teach you how to be a witch. But you have to work for me before learning any spells. Deal?

Luz just gives them a hug, making them confused by the gesture.

Afterwards, Luz settled into her new room, changing into her pajamas. King came in, wanting to sleep on Luz's "sleep cocoon" as he calls it.

Luz then checks her phone to see that her mom texted her, asking how summer camp is.

Luz stares at the text for a moment before smiling as she texts her mother; "I think I'm going to like it here."

Luz then lies down and falls asleep.
