Luz: Light in the darkness!

She says, using a light glyph.

Luz: A glittering bridge of ice!

She says, using an ice glyph.

Luz: The mightiest tree in the forest!

She says, using two plant glyphs.

Luz: You can make all these and more with glyph magic! Welcome to Day 3 of Luz's Magic Boot Camp!

She says, using a couple of fire glyphs to which Lilith claps her hands with excitement while Eda seemed to be busy with something else.

Luz: Now then, we've covered every glyph I've learned up until now, so today we'll learn something new.

Lilith: Are we about to encounter a never-before-seen glyph?

Luz: Unfortunately, no. These four either came from nature or another witch's spell. I don't know where to find more. In any case, today we're learning how to alter glyphs to do specific things.

She says while showing them a chalkboard to display the glyphs.

Lilith: Uh, Miss Teacher! Did I do it right?

She asks before showing her a drawing of the four glyphs.

Luz: Yeah, that's really good. Let's see how you're doing Eda.

She says before realizing that Eda had used a knife to create a combo of two glyphs.

Luz: Uh, Eda?

She says as Eda raises a hand up.

Eda: Double glyph combo, go!

She says before tapping it as it sparkles electricity before causing a small explosion.

Eda: Ah nuts. I was really hoping for an ice blast situation.

Luz: I know you're impatient to get your powers back, but try to master the basics before you start experimenting.

She said as Eda lets out a sigh.

Eda: Yeah, okay.

Hooty: Luz, you're gonna be late for school. Hoot hoot!

Luz: What?! Ah crud! You're right! We'll continue this later! See ya!

She says before using the omnitrix to turn into XLR8, running at top speed.

Luz made it within a few seconds, turning back to a human as she approached the school doors, hesitant to enter.

Luz: Okay, Luz. It's your first day back after the petrification ceremony. But I'm sure not much has changed. So . . . just take deep breaths and get in there.

She says, doing just that before opening the door to see Hexside students walking about as she enters.

Luz's eyes widened upon seeing Willow and Gus, who had also noticed her.

Willow: Oh my gosh!

Gus: Luz!

Luz: Guys!

She exclaimed as the three of them got into a group hug.

Willow: You're okay!

Luz: Of course I'm okay! I'm so glad to see you guys again!

She says before noticing that Gus was taller now.

Luz: Woah, Gus. Did I miss a birthday or something?

Gus: Witch puberty.

He says in a deeper, more mature voice.

Luz: I can't thank you guys enough for getting the crowd on me and Eda's side at the conformatorium.

Gus: It's cool. I just hope it helps Eda learn my name. She keeps calling me Goops.

Student: Hey Goops.

Gus: It's already spreading.

Amity: Hey, Luz.

Luz: Amity!

Amity: In celebration of your return, I have brought you a homemade fairy pie.

Luz: Oh, wow! That sounds so . . .

He paused upon seeing some fairy arms and legs sticking out of the pie along with muffled screams.

Luz: . . . Good.

She says, trying to hide her disgust and horror.

Amity: The ingredients are very fresh.

Luz: Thank you.

She says, reluctantly taking the pie into her hands.

Luz: You know, after everything that's happened, I'm just happy to return to some sense of normalcy.

She says before the school speakers go off.

Principal Bump: You can't just barge in here!

Woman: Yes we can! We are the Parent Creature Association. Luz Noceda, Willow Park and Augustus Porter, report to Principal Bump's office now! And you too, Amity.

Amity: Mom?!

She says in surprise before the four of them made their way to the principal's office where Bump and Amity's parents were waiting.

Odalia: The abomination situation. The infiltration of Hexside. The rampage of Grom. These are but a few of the incidents that have endangered Hexside's students. Including our daughter. So, the PCA has decided . . .

She waits for her husband, but he was distracted by observing Bump's moving hat only to clear her throat to get his attention.

Alador: Oh, right. Um . . . these three are bad influences and must be executed.

She said, earning gasps from everyone before Alador clears his throat.

Alador: I mean, expelled.

Luz: What?!

She said as Willow and Gus gasped.

Principal Bump: Sadly, I have no choice in the matter. Luz, Willow, Augustus, effective immediately, you are no longer students of Hexside.

Luz: That's not fair! We didn't do anything wrong! Amity, tell them!

She said, but Amity had no words. Almost as if she felt that she had no say in the matter.

Luz: Mrs. Blight! Isn't there something we can do to change your mind?!

Odalia: . . . Well, I suppose there's one thing.

Some time later, it was the evening as Luz was in the Blight Manor.

Odalia: Okay, let's get to the deal. We have a rather important presentation tonight showing off some new products.

Luz: Like abominations?

She asks as Alador was working with abomination goop.

Odalia: Something like that. Normally, Amity helps us with these things, but she's busy catching up on schoolwork. So you, human, will fill her in by helping us show off our products.

Luz: Alright, I'll do this only if you promise to let me and my friends back into Hexside.

Odalia: Don't worry, human. A Blight always upholds their end of the deal. Now, you might want to get ready, because we have a long night ahead of us.

She says before we cut to an hour later at the presentation with Luz on stage with the Blights.

Luz: So, Alador, what would you say is the speciality of Blight Industries?

Alador: We make a variety of abomination-based accessories for home security.

Luz: Oh. That sounds pretty safe.

Alador: But we specialize in weaponry. You might want to duck.

Luz: Huh?

She says before getting sent flying into the wall with abomination goop that Odalia fired with a gun-like weapon, the audience clapping and cheering.

Odalia: Yes, our Sticky Launcher can peacefully subdue any foe. And if peaceful isn't your thing . . .

She says before flipping a switch on the weapon and using a flamethrower in the air as green fire came out of it.

And so, for the next three hours, our protagonist had to go through weapon after weapon, the human getting beat up from all her injuries.

Not from a lack of trying to stay safe, mind you.

Luz was currently on stage face to face with an abomination wielding a magic crossbow.

It fired, Luz dodging as it hit the floor before exploding and sending her flying into a wall.

Luz got up, groaning in pain while the crowd cheered.

Odalia: Thank you, thank you. And they said we couldn't make crossbows more fun.

She said as the abomination exits the stage.

Odalia: Next, we're very excited to show you our last product from this line.

She said, Luz letting out a sigh of relief.

Odalia: My husband has been toiling away to bring you . . .

She says before the center of the stage had opened a secret door, with something large rising from the door.

Odalia: The Abomaton 2.0!

She said as the crowd gasps in awe.

Odalia: It's bigger, it's better! The Abomaton 2.0 is the perfect soldier. It won't rest until it's enemy is completely eliminated.

She said as the Abomaton formed weapons for hands.

Luz: Uh-oh.

She says, quickly dodging the Abomaton's attacks only for it to grab her by the leg, tripping her as she fell to the floor.

Luz then looks at Odalia and Alador, the former standing there with a smile on her face.

Luz: Okay, it's super strong. I think the crowd gets it.

Alador: She has a point, Odalia.

Odalia: Didn't you hear me? It won't rest until it's enemy is completely eliminated.

She says with a smug grin before the Abomaton yeeted the human into the ceiling.

Luz then started falling only to quickly grabbed onto a metal pipe, stopping herself from falling.

But then the Abomaton had jumped up onto another pipe next to her.

Luz: Oh crud!

She said, quickly dodging the Abomaton as it had formed a sword hand. To which Luz ducked and weaved out of the Abomaton's attack range.

After a little while, the Abomaton kicks Luz and goes in with a mace hand.

Luz manages to dodge the attack as the Abomaton gives chase.

Luz: That's it! No more miss nice girl!

She says while fiddling with the omnitrix before pressing the dial, transforming into Heatblast.

Heatblast: Just like last time.

She says before blasting the Abomaton with flames.

After a few seconds, Luz's eyes widened upon seeing that the Abomaton wasn't becoming solid.

Odalia chuckled.

Odalia: I'm aware of what happened in your duel with Amity. So I personally asked my husband to make the Abomatons resistant to fire.

She says before the Abomaton morphed its arms into hammers, sending Luz flying into a wall as the audience cheered.

The Abomaton charged towards Luz, to which she shot fire from her feet, zooming away from the Abomaton before it could bring an axe hand down onto her.

Luz quickly got up with an angry look on her face.

Heatblast: Okay, if heat won't work . . .

She says, thinking of the alien she wants before tapping the Omnitrix symbol.

As this was happening, Amity, Willow and Gus made it to see a purple glow obstructing everyone's view.

Everyone gasped upon seeing Luz having transformed into a blue reptilian-like alien with long arms and short legs.

Arctiguana: Then let's see if you can handle the cold!

She says before launching a freezing breath towards the Abomaton.

It stumbled a bit before it started charging towards the Omnitrix user, but its movements quickly slowed as it wasn't designed for the cold.

The Abomaton only made it about ten away from Luz before it became frozen solid.

Odalia: NOOOOOOO!!!

Amity: Luz! You okay?!

Arctiguana: Guys? What're you doing here?

Gus: We came to help!

Willow: But I guess you already got that covered.

Amity: A new transformation?

Arctiguana: Yeah, started with ten and now I have twenty.

Gus: So cool!

Odalia: What have you done!!?!?!

The Blight Matriarch yelled.

Odalia: We had a deal!! Now you've destroyed the Abomaton!

Alador: It's not destroyed, Odalia. I just need to thaw it out.

Odalia: But-!!

She yelled before getting interrupted by a crash in the ceiling as a large robot with three legs and humanoid arms appeared.

The robot began firing lasers at Luz, pushing the others out of the way as the beam sent her flying towards the frozen Abomaton, shattering it to pieces.

The crowd panicked as they screamed and ran away.

Arctiguana: (This robot is just like those drone things! The Golden Guard didn't recognize them, could this be a secret project by Belos? Or is it someone else?)

She thought before the machine fired another laser at her, to which she quickly dodged the attack, jumping high like a frog.

Luz then shoots her freezing breath at the robot, only to find that it didn't do anything.

Arctiguana: Guess this one's made to stand the cold.

She said as Amity, Willow & Gus stood by her side.

Amity: Luz, I'm so sorry I didn't stand up to my mom.

Arctiguana: It's okay, Amity. You got my back now, that's all that matters.

Willow: What are we chopped liver?

Gus: Yeah, we got your back too!

Arctiguana: I know.

She says before tapping the Omnitrix symbol, transforming into Diamondhead.

Diamondhead: Now let's kick some metal butt!

She yelled as the four of them charged towards the robot.

It fired a laser at them, only for Luz to create a wall of crystals, blocking the beam.

Gus then used his illusion magic to create three copies each for Luz, Amity, Willow and himself.

This confused the robot as it wasn't sure who to attack.

Willow and her copies used plant magic to grow a multitude of vines from the ground, which then tied up the robot, limiting its movement.

With a nod, Amity jumps into Luz's arms, the Omnitrix user creating a diamond ramp, to which Amity used abomination goop to give them more speed as they leaped into the air onto the robot.

Morphing her hands into blades, Luz began slicing into the robot, cutting through its metal shell like a knife through butter.

The robot was about to fire another laser at Luz, only for Amity to jump in the way, using abomination goop to shield them.

But it wasn't quite enough as it caused an explosion that sent Amity hurtling to the ground.

Diamondhead: Amity!!

She screamed, before jumping onto the robot's head and going ham on it, slicing the head open to see wiring, to which she plunged her hand into it and sent crystals spikes inside which ripped the machine part inside out.

Gus & Willow cease their spells with Luz jumping off before the machine fell to the ground.

Diamondhead: Amity!

She yelled, turning back into a human as she ran towards her.

Luz: Are you okay?!

Amity: Yeah, I'm fine.

She groaned a bit.

Alador: Amity!!

The Father Blight yelled as he ran over to his youngest daughter with worry in his eyes.

Amity: I'm fine, dad. But . . . thanks for checking up on me.

Odalia: Ugh! This was a disaster! The Abomaton is definitely destroyed now! Don't even think I'll allow you three back into Hexside!

Alador: Odalia! You made a deal with the human, I mean, Luz. She did not destroy the Abomaton. It was this strange, foreign, yet rather fascinating machine. Ahem! The point is, she technically did not break the deal. And a Blight always upholds their end of a deal.

Odalia: What?! But she was supposed to-!

Alador: Not another word. Let's go.

He says, pushing Odalia towards the exit, but not before turning his head to the teens, giving them a wink.

They smiled, silently thanking Alador for his generosity.

Luz: Looks like we're back in Hexside!

She yelled before they all high fived and headed back home.
