Note: I DO NOT own The Owl House or Godzilla so don't report me, this is for entertainment purposes only.

Also, I should let you know that this chapter will be based on The Owl House Season 2, Episode 9. With episodes 7 & 8 having little to no changes from canon.

With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Within the Emperor's castle, Belos was working inspecting a machine his men had been building for some time now. It seemed to be in order, though it was missing an important element.

He then paused upon noticing he wasn't alone in the room.

Emperor Belos: Would you like to see how it works, Hunter?

He asks, Hunter gasping in surprise before hiding the little red bird palisman in his pocket before revealing himself.

Hunter: I didn't mean to hide, Emperor Belos.

He said as the emperor faces the teen with a smile on his face without his mask on.

Hunter: This machine, can it really take us to the human realm?

Emperor Belos: Indeed. Or atleast it will, given time.

Hunter: Is it true that rain doesn't boil in the human realm?

Emperor Belos: It is. You know, I've been there before. Did I ever tell you that?

He asked, to which Hunter shook his head.

Emperor Belos: The trees there are green. Nights are quiet. I look forward to seeing it again. Were you spying on me just to hear these boring stories?

He asks, still with a genuine smile on his face.

Hunter: . . . The operation at the Knee. Why did you switch me out with Kikimora?

Emperor Belos: Everyone has a use, Hunter. Kikimora has her intricate little plans. The scouts carry out orders. And you, well, the Titan has big plans for you and it would be such a hassle to find a replacement. So, right now, you can be useful by staying safe in the castle.

He says while escorting him to the doorway.

Hunter: If this is punishment for failing my last mission, I swear I can do better.

He said as Belos continued to smile at the teen.

Emperor Belos: Good night, Hunter.

He says before closing the door, to which the teen runs off down the hall.

He knows he can do better with his newfound power, which he has yet to tell anyone about, he will get the portal and key if it's the last thing he does.

We now cut to the very next day at the owl house as Amity, Willow, Gus had spent the night at a sleepover and were currently hanging out in Luz's room along with King.

Amity: So let me get this straight, Luz has the common mold yet she's fine?

Luz: Yup.

Amity: Luz, even if you don't have symptoms, I think you should lie down and rest.

Luz: Don't worry, Amity. Most likely my Kaiju blood is preventing my mold from getting serious. I mean, not one Kaiju in my world has ever been sick, so . . .

Willow: Got to admit, Amity, seeing you around more often is different.

Amity: I know. But I was taught to see every situation as an opportunity.

Luz: Cause you wanna show everyone that you're an awesome girlfriend, right?

The human/Kaiju hybrid teased, making Amity blush.

Luz: Aww, don't be embarrassed, Ami.

She says, wrapping an arm around Amity's shoulder, pulling her close and giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Amity's face immediately turned red as a tomato while Willow and Gus smirked.

King: Feels like just a few months ago you almost got Luz dissected by your crazy principal.

Gus: That actually was a few months ago.

Amity: Can we please not bring that up?

She says, embarrassed by her first meeting with Luz.

Luz: I forgave you a long time ago, Ami. Don't worry.

She says before she noticed the Echo Mouse starting to glow, the teen gasping.

Luz: Mouse! Philip's diary!

She says before lights similar to that of an old school movie projector showed images.

Philip Wittebane: After five years, I have finally found it. A power source so potent it can pierce through realms. Titan's Blood. There are old tales of lakes reflecting green trees and blue skies. The Titan's veins run through the land. And many believe that these wild portals are created when a little of it's blood leaks into the water. That is how I came here. So that is the first place I shall look. I will journey back to Eclipse Lake.

He says before the images stopped and disappeared, the Echo Mouse's eyes no longer glowing.

Luz: Guys? I think we should go to Eclipse Lake.

She says before exiting the room and telling Eda about Eclipse Lake.

Eda: Titan's Blood in Eclipse Lake? Yeah, we should definitely go.

Amity: But why? You still have the portal for Luz to go back to her world, right?

Eda: Yes, but Belos wanted my portal. I don't know why, but my guess is he wants to go to the human realm for some reason. So obviously we can't take any chances in letting that jerk face get his hands on that titan blood!

Luz: Please, guys? You'd all be a big help.

King: Like you even need to ask me.

Willow: I'd go with you, but . . . I promised my dads I'd be home before noon.

Gus: Same here. I don't wanna get in trouble with my dad again.

Amity: I'm in.

Luz: Are you sure, Amity? Won't your mom get mad if you're home late?

Amity: I honestly don't care.

Eda: Then put on your coats, we're going to the Knee. Hooty, hold the fort while we're gone.

Hooty: Yes, ma'am!

He said as Willow & Gus said their goodbyes before leaving the owl house.

So Luz, Amity and Eda dressed warmly before heading out to the Knee, following a map Luz had drawn of one of the images from the Echo Mouse.

They find themselves walking along a path with a bunch of tools scattered across.

King: This place is crawling with tools. What gives?

Eda: Titan Blood is the most powerful source of magic on the isles and it creates portals to other realms, were you not paying attention?

She asks as someone wearing an emperor's coven uniform and mask had suddenly fallen right in front of them.

Amity: A coven scout!

She yelled as everyone readied themselves for a fight.

Scout: Uh . . . yes. I am but a humble scout and I surrender.

King: Well, that was easy.

Eda: Not so fast, King. Don't you recognize that annoying voice?

Scout: . . . Why does everyone say that?

He says before making a run for it only for Luz to tackle him to ground, his mask falling off, revealing to be that of Hunter as Amity used her abomination magic to tie him up in goo.

Luz: Hunter?!

Eda: The emperor's right hand.

Amity: The Golden Guard? . . . He's a lot scrawnier than I imagined.

She says before they made their way to their destination only to see Kikimora along with a dozen coven scouts and a couple of Abomatons.

Luz: How about we just find another way in and only fight as a last resort?

She said before going around as Luz busted their way in through the rocks.

Everyone then entered, with Hunter still restrained by Amity's abomination goop.

Hunter: You can put your staff down, I won't run.

He said as Amity aimed her staff at him.

Amity: Too bad. I don't trust you.

She said as Eda approached what looked like a drill.

Eda: King, use that thing on me. Maybe the adrenaline will kick in, and bam! Harpy Eda!

King: Sounds perfectly safe!

The little demon says before activating the drill.

Hunter: Wait, don't!

He yells as a beam of magic is fired, missing Eda and bouncing off the walls before making it's way to Amity.

Luz quickly shielded her girlfriend with her body, the blast barely being a tickle to her.

Luz: You okay?

Amity: Yeah, I'm good.

Hunter: This isn't a normal cave! These walls are made from the veins of the Titan! Any magic you shoot will bounce right back at you!

Eda: Oh, you must be fun at parties.

She says sarcastically before they moved on.

After a little while, they came up to an area only to immediately take cover as Kikimora and company showed up.

Kikimora: Why are we stopping? Is it the Golden Guard?

Coven Captain: No, ma'am. This is a dangerous area. We need to move carefully.

Kikimora: Careful takes too long! My butt is on the line and so help me, Titan, if you ruin this, I will throw you off the tallest peak of the Knee with a smile!

Eda: Oh, that poor girl is going through something.

Amity: She's also blocking the path to Eclipse Lake.

She says, pointing towards a tunnel up ahead.

Luz: We should create a distraction.

Eda: Heck yeah! Oh, I know!

She says before pulling her hair into her face.

Eda: I'll be the ghost of Miners Past and spook 'em out.

King: You look like one of my hair balls! Let's just do the trench coat thing.

The two argued as Luz, Amity and Hunter stared at them awkwardly.

Luz: Okay . . . while they're doing that, you wanna help with that distraction, Amity?

Amity: Obviously.

She says before Luz takes out a fire glyph, tapping it and shooting a fire ball while Amity uses her staff to shoot a purple fire ball of her own.

The two fire balls then started bouncing all over the place while Kikimora and her allies were caught off guard, the Abomatons creating magic force fields to protect them.

Luz: Let's go!

She yelled as everyone made a run for it, making it to the tunnel as fast as they could.

After a couple minutes of running, they found an area where the walls were covered in some kind of substance.

Luz: Is this Titan's Blood?

Amity: But . . . Eclipse Lake is farther ahead.

She said as she checks on the map.

King: Who cares? We did it!

He said as the little demon was about to touch the substance.

Hunter: Stop! That's Fool's Blood! Don't touch it!

Eda: Oh, so you can keep it all for yourself?

She scoffs before using Owlbert to crack one of the fool's blood.

But then the ground began to rumble as the ground began to crack, to which the ground opens up with Luz, Eda & King falling down an abyss, screaming.

Amity: No! Luz!

She cried out, getting on her staff as she was ready to go down and help them.

Hunter: Wait! Take me with you!

Kikimora: Yoo-hoo! Golden Guard!

The emperor's assistant said in the distance as they can hear her footsteps.

Hunter: At least untie me so I can escape!

He said as Amity looked conflicted on what to do.

Hunter: Please. I don't wanna be replaced.

He begged as Amity finally caved in.

Amity: Fine!

She said, using her magic to unbound Hunter from the abomination goop.

Amity: So, where will you go now?

Hunter: Now . . .

He says before kicking Amity while she had her back turned, the young witch screaming as she fell into the abyss.

Amity screamed as she fell for a bit only to stop as Luz had grabbed her coat, Owlbert being stuck in between some rocks which kept them from falling any further.

Amity: Luz! You're okay!

Luz: Just barely. Owlbert's knocked out, so we can't fly.

Eda: We're fine too, by the way.

The owl lady said, a little annoyed.

King: I'm just, like, throwing it out there but this would be a great time to bring out Harpy Eda.

Eda: I don't know how! I've tried yelling at it, scaring it.

She says before Owlbert started slipping.

Luz: Have you tried talking to it?

Eda: Ha! I-Oh, no. Guess I didn't. But hey, it's a wild animal.

King: You thought I was a wild animal once.

He said as Owlbert continued to slip.

Eda: Okay! I'll try it!

She says before closing her eyes and trying to communicate with the Owlbeast.

Eda: Yeah, it's me . . . uh-huh . . . you want me to go what?. . . Okay, okay, deal. Just change now!

She says before opening her eyes, her scleras turning black as she transforms into her Harpy form.

Eda then grabbed onto everybody before flying out of the sinkhole.

They then make their way through a tunnel only to see Kikimora and her crew injured in a minecart crash.

Eda: Hah!

The owl lady laughed before seeing an entrance with a sign that reads; "Eclipse Lake."

Amity: There it is!

She says before the two Abomatons grabbed Eda by her legs.

Coven Captain: I don't know who you freaks are, but that blood belongs to Kikimora!

She yelled as the Abomatons slammed Eda to the ground.

Eda: You three go on ahead! I'll-

She was cut off by the Abomatons throwing her into the rocky wall.

Luz: Eda!

Eda: I'll be fine! Just get that Titan Blood!

She yelled before immediately fighting off her attackers

Luz, Amity and King then ran for the tunnel while Eda distracted the emperor's coven.

They then see Hunter in the center of a dried up Eclipse Lake, digging in the dirt.

Luz, Amity and King then carefully make their way towards him.

Hunter: Don't worry. I won't pick a fight. There's no Titan Blood.

Luz: Then why are you digging?

She asks as Hunters chuckles.

Hunter: Oh, it's simple really. Belos needs Titan Blood, can't travel to the human realm without it.

He said as he goes back to digging while Luz grasps her hand onto the portal key around her neck.

Hunter: Since I failed my last mission, I thought "Hey, a chance to make up for it." But I can't go back empty handed. Not again. Long story short, this is my grave.

King: This is really starting to bum me out.

Hunter: That's just life, rat. Everyone has a use and if you don't?

He says before blowing a raspberry.

Hunter: Bye-bye.

He says before the little red bird palisman tugs on his cloak.

Hunter: Hey! Go find a better witch to be with.

He says before slumping face first into the dirt.

Luz and Amity couldn't help but feel bad for Hunter as they approached him.

Luz: Hey, come on, don't be like that.

Amity: She's right, I honestly understand how you feel. I grew up thinking that everything was an opportunity to justify existing. But there are people out there who won't make you feel worthless. You just have to let yourself meet them.

She says, offering him her hand only for Hunter to notice the portal key around Luz's neck, staring at it.

Amity: What're you . . . ?

She says in confusion before Hunter lunges towards Luz, the Kaiju hybrid quickly dodging him.

Hunter then glares at them with red reptilian eyes, Luz's eyes widening in shock upon seeing this.

Hunter: Give me the portal key!

He snarled before Amity quickly uses her abomination magic to encase him in a ball of abomination goop.

She and Luz then hop on her staff and began to fly away.

It was only a few seconds later when Hunter had broken free and caught her staff with an aura of magic, pulling it as the young couple started falling.

They hit the ground hard as Luz removes the portal key from her neck.

Luz: Amity, take it and go! I'll hold him off!

Amity: What?!

Luz: We can't let Belos get the key! Just go! I'll be fine!

Amity: No way am I leaving you!

She says, putting a hand on Luz's cheek and staring her in the eyes.

Amity: Repeat after me, we can do this together!

She said, Luz chuckling before responding.

Luz: Don't you mean, we can fix this together?

Amity: You know what I mean.

Luz: Yeah, I know. And you're right. Together.

She says before putting the portal key on her neck again, facing Hunter.

His eyes seethedwith anger, frustration and desperation as he walked towards them with heavy footsteps.

Luz growled as her eyes became a reptilian orange before charging towards him, to which Hunter responded by charging her as well.

Once they were only a few feet away from each other, Amity had gotten behind Hunter, using her abomination goop to stop him in his tracks.

This gave Luz the chance to punch him several times before Hunter headbutts the human hybrid.

He then breaks free from the abomination goop, glaring at Amity as he opens his mouth.

Luz's eyes widened upon seeing golden energy building up in Hunter's mouth.

Panicked, Amity began to fly away on her palisman with Luz just barely making it in time to tackle Hunter to the ground, the beam missing the young blight as it created an explosion.

Luz: DON'T.

She said, punching him.

Luz: YOU.

A second punch.

Luz: DARE.

A third punch.

Luz: HURT MY GIRLFRIEND!!!

She screamed as she began to punch Hunter to a pulp only for electricity to surge throughout his body.

This made Luz pause for a moment before a wave of electricity had sent the teen flying.

Hunter then got up and made his way towards Luz only for Amity to stand in his way.

Amity: Stay away from her!

Hunter: Stay out of this, Blight!

He says before his arms began to glow a golden hue before transforming into large golden scaled dragon wings.

Amity was shocked by this, giving Hunter the opportunity to lunge at Amity, his feet now transforming into golden clawed toes, sinking them into her shoulders as he flew several feet off the floor.

Amity let out a cry in pain, about to use her palismen.

But then, Hunter had suddenly grown two tails, each one grabbing her arms and stretching them out.

Amity lets out another painful cry while Luz had slowly gotten up with a serious headache.

Luz: AMITY!!

She yelled, firing a quick atomic breath to Hunter's face which made him let go of Amity.

Luz ran quickly, catching Amity before she could hit the ground while Hunter hit the dirt hard.

Luz: Sweet potato! Are you okay?!

Amity: Ow . . . I'm fine, Luz. I just need to rest for a bit.

She said as Luz takes out some healing glyphs, applying then to Amity's wounds.

While that was happening, Hunter had just gotten back up. He glared at the young couple and was about to attack only for something to jump onto his shoulder.

King: Sneak attack!

He yelled before using his sonic shout in Hunter's ear, sending him to the ground as his ears began to ring.

Hunter shook his head before grabbing King and tossing him to the ground.

He then heard a roar, turning around to see Luz charging towards him with black scale covered arms, claws and a tail.

Hunter fired his golden beams to which Luz fires her atomic breath, the gold and purple beams clashing for a moment before exploding.

Luz coughed as the smoke blinded her, but then she felt talons sink into her shoulders as Hunter began to flap his wings, blasting the small hole in the ceiling into a bigger one as he continued to fly.

Luz was gonna use her atomic breath until Hunter used his tails to cover her mouth and strangle her.

Luz couldn't break free as Hunter flew thousands of feet into the air, above the clouds as the full moon was now in view, it's light shining behind Hunter.

Hunter's mouth then glowed a golden hue before blasting Luz in the face with his beam, sending her back to the ground. Her body burning up like a meteor as she fell.

There wasn't anything Luz could do as she eventually crashed into the knee outside of the mines, creating a powerful shockwave and a large crater beneath her.

Hunter then landed on snow, his wings glowing a golden hue before turning back into arms as he approached the now unconscious Luz.

Hunter then takes grabs hold of the portal key and rips it from Luz's neck, seeing a small amount of blue Titan's Blood leaking from a crack.

Hunter couldn't help but chuckle before letting out a roar at the unconscious teen before his arms turned into wings a second and took off into the sky.

Some time had passed as Luz jolted awake on the couch.

Eda: Woah, woah! Easy, kid!

Amity: Luz! You're okay!

She said, giving Luz a big hug. The human hybrid then gasped as she searched for the portal key.

Luz: Guys? Where's the portal key?!

Eda: The Golden Guard must've taken it.

Luz: But . . . h-how am I gonna get home? How am I gonna see my mom?!

She yelled, the teen appearing as if she was about to have a panic attack.

Amity: It's okay, Luz! I swear.

She said, hugging Luz and rubbing her hand on the back of the human's head to calm her down.

Amity: He might have the key, but some of the Titan's Blood spilled onto your coat.

She said as Eda held up Luz's coat which had some Titan blood on it.

Eda: I'm not sure how, but maybe we can try to make our own portal.

Luz: Thanks, guys.

Amity: Now onto some other important business. The Golden Guard has strange new powers, powers that are not too different from Luz's.

Luz: Yeah, I know what you mean. And I think I already have an idea where Hunter's powers came from.

She said, taking out her book on Kaiju, flipping the page to the one she was looking for.

Amity: Ghidorah?

Luz: Yeah, it fits perfectly with his powers. Gravity Beams, electricity, the wings, tails, he has Ghidorah's powers.

She said as everyone read the page on the monster.

Eda: Huh . . . so this thing was Godzilla's nemesis before being gravely injured and flying into space?

Luz: Yes and . . . Ghidorah hasn't been seen in 60 years.

He said, everyone growing silent on the possibility of this Kaiju residing on the Boiling Isles somewhere.

We then cut to the Emperor's Castle as Hunter had returned with the portal key.

Emperor Belos: You have done well, Hunter. You may go now.

Hunter: Yes, emperor. But if I may, there is something I need to discuss with you . . . in private.

Emperor Belos: . . . Leave us.

He said as everyone, except himself and Hunter, left the throne room.

Emperor Belos: What troubles you, Hunter?

Hunter: Where do I begin?

He says before explaining everything about his powers to the emperor.

Hunter: And that's how I managed to get the portal key.

Emperor Belos: I see.

Hunter: But I'm confused. What does this all mean, uncle? I thought I was powerless.

He said as Belos stood silent for a moment before speaking up.

Emperor Belos: Follow me.

He said, to which they both exited the castle and flew on their staffs north up to the neck of the Titan.

Hunter was confused as he followed the emperor towards the coast.

Belos would then snap his fingers as a massive glow of light had blinded Hunter before quickly dissipating.

Hunter opened his eyes and gasped, his eyes widening in shock upon seeing the skeleton of a massive dragon creature.

Hunter then realized that the dragon had three heads, though two of them were missing.

Hunter: What . . . what is this?

Emperor Belos: Remember when you were small and had grown ill? So ill that not even the greatest of the healing coven could cure you?

Hunter: I do, vaguely, but yes.

Emperor Belos: Well, suffice to say, I used what remained on the beast's blood to procure a potion that would cure you. Thankfully, it worked. But I'm still rather surprised it would have such an effect on you.

Hunter: . . . So my powers come from this creature.

Emperor Belos: Indeed. And you also managed to defeat Luz the human. The same human who managed to kill my pet, Orga. Hunter, with your newfound powers, no wild witch would stand a chance against us. You must learn how to use them properly.

Hunter: Of course, my emperor, I already plan on doing so.

He says, bowing to him as Belos snapped his fingers, reactivating the illusion to hide Ghidorah's skeleton.
