it's been quite a while since the end of the roleplay, so to save time and energy, i am going to give you all a quick overview of the general plotlines between the characters (people who owned tribute OCs... PLEASE fill me in on any missing plotlines for any of your characters, if need be), as well as the final rankings, the capitol's overall reaction, and lastly, the "highlights" of the hunger games. of course, the tributes are all dead, but the capitol ALWAYS has something to celebrate!

with that being said, let's get on with the rest of the chapter!

... ＣＡＰＩＴＯＬ'Ｓ ＯＶＥＲＡＬＬ ＲＥＡＣ -ＴＩＯＮ ...

For this being the first Hunger Games after the second major rebellion, the Capitol citizens were generally very pleasantly surprised with the twists and turns involved in the Games. Many found their bets for the 76th Hunger Games pretty close to the reality of the entire festivity. HOWEVER ... they were most definitely angered by the display of rebellion (at least, in their eyes) the last standing tribute, Sydney Kantern from district 13, demonstrated with his sudden act to kill himself off. Many ridiculed him — and continue to ridicule him to this day — while only a mere few pity him and began to slightly resent the resurrection of the Games for being the cause of a lost life. Some are upset that his sjicide was the cause for somebody else's — like Dominic, Augustus, or Logan — lost opportunity for victory, as the Capitol in general place a strong emphasis on avoiding being wasteful at all costs. Ironic because they waste innocent lives every year ...

They found the alliances and their battles with other alliances the most intriguing and "extraordinary" of all the aspects of the Games; some were even excited to see how some of the loners out hiding around the caverns would eventually strategize a plan to potentially wipe out the rest of the tributes and take home the victory. Of course, that didn't happen at all — but it was worth the hype.

Here are some key things to point out on the Capitol's behalf.

-seeing the crystal cavern themed arena — unlike anything they've seen before!
-seeing their favorite tributes (based off of tribute parade appearance, released training scores and live interview) velvet izenberg, veronica samol secrenty, logan "king" bagley, augustus celi and sydney kantern.
-velvet's wicked kill streak in the bloodbath
-the intense and close brawl between maxwell jones and the district 8 male.
-the fight between the career pack (+ penny ) and the four boys alliance (augustus, dominic, sydney and eirwen).
-logan killing eirwen
-the bond between augustus, dominic and sydney blossoming (despite initial and somewhat prevalent reservations towards dominic).
-the FEAST.
-the heavy speculation of genuine romance surrounding the already developing relationship between velvet and veronica.
-what the capitol anticipated would be an exciting final showdown between logan and augustus' alliance.
-sydney 's rise to victory through his developing insanity that has pushed him into becoming a killing machine. very entertaining indeed.

"POINTS OF DISAPPOINTMENT"
-raymond's death to the vicious district 13 male (sydney)
-failure to kill off dominic in the early stage of the Games
-the beginnings of augustus ' and dominic's alliance.
-the change in augustus' perspective on the hunger games.
-failure to see an outcome from the district 12 and district 8 male brawl because of the interference of augustus' alliance.
-veronica 's death, even though she was killed by another fan favorite — they loved what she and velvet had going on and thought the two alongside logan resembled the indoctrinated envision of honorable tributes for the Games.
-lack of action from tributes who didn't belong in any alliance.
-the quick and overhyped "showdown" between logan and augustus' alliance.
-augustus' death.
-sydney's suicide.
