Meeting
I strolled down toward the voices, obviously Tsunami's yelling, collecting the rundown scrolls. They looked fresh and new, as though someone had accidentally dropped them. Probably Starflight or someone close to him, since he was at JMA (Jade Mountain Academy), last I remembered. "Hey you there!" I heard a voice in the trees. A RainWing? This RainWing already seems a bit more angrier than the other RainWings. New friend? I decide to say, "Yes? Is that a RainWing that's talking to me?" I ask, prideful of my knowledge on every tribe. I heard a slight gasp, and I smiled smugly but silently (like Deathbringer -). "How do you know?" the voice answered, and I saw a shape starting to appear near a medium tree. "I'm part RainWing." I answer. At least that makes up for the knowledge of RainWings and LeafWings, but even so, it's a lot. "Part? What about the other-" the voice got cut off as another RainWing appeared and clamped their talons on the first RainWing. "My apologies, dear, my RainWings usually don't do that, unlike you, Winterpink." she glared at the first RainWing, Winterpink. That's a weird name - I think - until I realized it was a type of flower, a wintergreen flower (probably pink version). It brings Prince Winter to mind. Winterpink is a male RainWing, having white and red main color with a little bit of pink and mint green. "Mizzle, do you mind taking Winterpink back to my pavillion?" she asked, and another RainWing's head appeared, appearing light blue and very light purple. "Yes, your majesty. I shall go." she said, and bowed in the tree. I blinked hard as I just thought about something - "I'm sorry for not introducing myself to you. I am Queen Glory of the RainWings and NightWings. And you are?" she said. My eyes widened as I realized who this was - and I thought she might've been Kinkajou for a moment. I immediately bowed and stammered, "So-sorry your majesty -" but I got cut off by her. "You don't need to call me that. But you didn't answer my question." Oh, right. Remember, I'm Petal of The LeafWings and RainWings. So I say that. "I am Petal of the LeafWings and RainWings. I'm a hybrid." Glory looked a little surprised, and said, "I didn't expect a RainWing hybrid, most RainWings prefer to stay here. Who are your parents?" she asked. "My parents are dead. My father was a RainWing and my mother was a LeafWing. Aren't you a dragonet of destiny?" I asked her. "Oh, that's sad to hear. I was, but it's over. How old are you again?" "I just turned six." "Oh, that means you hatched some after us." "Who's us?" I ask, knowing perfectly well she was talking about Clay, Tsunami, Starflight, and Sunny. "Okay, I'm joking, I know who you mean." I say. She looks a bit suspicious but doesn't say anything until, "Follow me, you'll meet the others." We walked through the forest, giving me a chance to try drawing the forest on a blank scroll. I even made a portrait of Glory, the I'm-the-sarcastic-queen-and-you-better-know-it look on her. It's funny. Maybe I should get her signature on it (imagine I come back home with a dragon's real signature! Omg!). I color the drawing (don't ask), and I lightly tap on her shoulder. "Hey...uh..Glory, I made something. Look." I feel like I'm a bit too commanding. She stops and looks at the portrait. "Is that... me?" she asks. "Yes, it is....can I get your signature?" I burst out (this is like HP). "Sure, guess, why not." She scribbles her signature, I look at it and am excited. I keep it carefully. We finally came out to a clearing, where a pavilion can be seen in the trees. That's the border between the RainWings and the NightWings. It looks even better than the books described it, but it also had a vibe - the type of vibe that cannot be explained in words or shown. "Alright, let's get up there." she said, and we flew to it.
