Issei sighed under the bearing sun. Despite the numerous times he went to school before, it still tired him out before making it to the building. A negative effect of being a devil is being drained under the sun, which is essentially light.

'Fuckin' technicalities.' Issei cursed in his mind as he walked to school. He decided to take a detour since it was still early and he needed to get some sweat going to get ready for the day. So why not take a stroll in the park?

"Kyaa!" A sudden shout made Issei turn towards the scream and head there immediately. When he got there, Issei was greeted with a small but cute butt sticking out of the hedges with white panties.

Issei blinked twice before coughing on his hand. "Are you alright?"

"A-Ah, please help me. I can't... get... out..." Each word was associated with a grunt, which only made the young woman's butt shake more erotically. Issei had to make sure there weren't any perverts, other than him, who was nearby and ogled at the sight.

"Hang on." Issei placed down his school bag and held the young woman's sides tightly. The girl gasped in shock as she suddenly felt being pulled on the other side.

It didn't take long as Issei successfully pulled the girl out of the bush. The woman sat near him, showing a bit of her panties. Now that the woman was out, Issei can see the outfit she wore.

The girl had long, blonde hair. She wore traditional nun's clothes with a headdress covering her face. She looked very cute, like a delicate flower in a field of grass. It made Issei want to protect her.

'Wait. Is she...?' Issei used [God's Eye] on her to verify the girl before him.

"Are you alright there?" Issei checked on Asia, making sure she isn't hurt.

"Yes. Thank you very much."She said with a cute voice. Issei had to suppress his desire to hug the girl and just smiled.

He then noticed a messy suitcase nearby and offered to help." Your suitcase. Mind if I help?"

"Oh, no it's quite alright," Asia said before Issei started picking up some of the fallen clothing. One of which was a frilly panty. Asia noticed and hastily put all of the scattered clothes inside the case, accidentally tripping and showing more of her panties.

Despite the clutter, Asia and Issei had successfully put together the case without much trouble, and a couple of panty shots.

"So what's a cute nun like you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in a church?" Issei calmly said. Despite the pains that would occur when saying anything related to the biblical God, it wasn't much of a nuisance than a sharp pick in the head.

Asia blushed at Issei's words and looked away. "Y-Yes. I was supposed to be stationed at the nearby church but got lost. I wanted to ask for directions but my Japanese isn't that good."

Issei blinked and wondered how he could speak another language before concluding that its thanks to the [System] and being a devil. "I see. Well, I can show you the way there."

"Really?" Asia asked Issei, her cute green eyes looking at him with gratefulness.

"Yeah. The church is actually on my path to school. I'll guide you."

"Oh thank you. May the Lord bless you." Issei felt a really large needle prick his skull and brain and winced a little. Asia lightly gasped at Issei's pained expression. "Are you alright?"

"Y-Yeah. Just got a little winded. But it's going away now, thank you." Issei calmed down the nun before smiling. Internally, he grimaced at the pain. 'I took hits that hurt more but that shit stung!'

"I see... if you say so." Issei smiled and Asia suddenly gasped. "Oh, my name is Asia Argento. It's nice to meet you."

"The pleasure is mine. I'm Issei Hyoudou, a 2nd Year in Kuoh High."

After their introduction, Issei guided her through his hometown and showed her the path which to take on their way to the church. To be completely honest, Issei really wanted to raid the base of the Fallen as not only would it make taking care of them a breeze but also make Asia completely human.

He can see the upsides of this plan and not that many cons with it, but that would plant a seed of distrust within Rias and her peerage. For all they know, Issei was just a recent reincarnated devil who had just awakened his [Sacred Gear]. Sure, destroying a Fallen base would up his reputation but would also make Rias look like a fool for letting them make a base in her territory.

So for now, he would just let the plot continue and steeled his heart for it. Or maybe not...

Issei shook his head and got rid of his thoughts. Asia noticed and asked. "What's wrong?"

"Oh, nothing. Just some school stuff." Issei replied, taking a look at Asia's outfit and noticing a silver cross chain around her. When he glanced at the object, his body felt disgusted and wanted to get as far away as possible from it.

Issei and Asia saw a nearby boy trip over a rock and scrap his knee on the ground. The wound got a bit of blood and the boy was crying over it. Issei was about to help but Asia got there faster.

Asia puts on a kindly face and rubs the boy's head. "Don't cry now, it was just a scrape. Boy's like you shouldn't cry after all."

That was when she hovered her hands over the injury. Issei noticed an elegant ring over her finger as it started to glow green. He watched as the small injury started healing itself and the blood disappearing. 'So that's her [Sacred Gear], huh?'  A sudden feeling on his left arm confirmed it before receding.

The wound went away and the boy stopped crying. "There we go. Now there's no more!" Asia looked back at Issei and made an apology. "I'm sorry. It was a force of habit."

"It's alright. I was gonna do the same anyway." Issei merely smiled at Asia's kindness.

The boy then got up from his injuries and thanked Asia before running away. Asia merely smiled through it all and the duo continued their walk.

"I must have surprised you," Asia said, knowing Issei saw her healing power.

"Yeah. That was some impressive magic you just did."

"Yes. It was granted to me by God after all... Yes, it was granted by God." Asia suddenly lowered her tone. Issei noticed it and doesn't pry much further, knowing that the subject was still sensitive to her.

And after a few more minutes of walking, they had come to the vicinity of the church. It was indeed old and dilapidated as if no one took care of it for years. Despite its old appearance, Issei can feel his body shaking in the presence of the house of God. He squashed down the feelings and hardened his eyes.

"Well, we're here. I still don't see anyone coming to get you." Issei looked around and indeed, no one was nearby. It was only them and the building but his [World Sense] told him that there was more than just this small building.

"It's alright. I'm sure the person is inside as we speak." Asia merely smiled at the situation. "Would you like to come for some tea? I can brew one for us."

"It's fine. I gotta get to school anyway." Issei said, pointing to where Kuoh High is.

"Oh. That's a shame. Well, goodbye, Issei-san."

"You too as well, Asia-san."

Issei left Asia for school, not noticing the grim face she made as he left her view.

"You should never go back there again." Rias sternly said, her eyes looking at Issei. "Churches are hostile territory to us devils. You'll create fights between angels and us if went there again."

After school and heading to the clubroom, Rias was waiting for Issei and was explaining to him the counterparts of devils, angels. And like them, they also have territory here in Kuoh. And that is the church here and anywhere relating to God.

"Not to mention that some of them have the ability to wield light spears or exorcist weapons." Rias then sharpened her gaze at Issei, making him shift a bit from his position. "To exorcise a devil means completely annihilating them. There's no coming back, nothing when you are killed by them. You are dead, simple as that."

"Do you understand now, Issei-kun?" Rias asked, making Issei nod his head. She released a sigh and caressed his cheek. "I'm sorry for sounding upset, Issei. I just don't want any harm to befall you."

"Yeah... I didn't know at the time. I mean, I did but not the severity of the situation." While Issei could make a claim that Rias is only interested in his [Sacred Gear], Rias still treats her peerage like family. So maybe those claims were a bit harsh on her.

"Ara, are you done with lecturing Issei-kun?" Akeno said behind them. Issei didn't show any reaction and raised an eyebrow.

"Akeno, what are you doing here? I thought you went home." Rias said, surprised to see her [Queen].

Akeno's face soon turned serious and spoke in a grave tone. "The archduke has sent us a message. A Stray is nearby."

A Stray Devil is a devil who has betrayed or killed their master for power. They prowl around the world, killing anyone coming across them. If they are ever encountered, they must be dealt with appropriately. This is the new law of the underworld.

Being a Duke, Rias has to receive orders from the rank above her, the Archduke, about Stray Devils and deal with the threat. The orders have just come in about a Stray killing humans in an abandoned house in Kuoh.

Everyone in the peerage was called and teleported to the house where the killings have started. Issei can feel the evil presence within and the stench of blood was revolting to smell.

"Issei, do you know chess?" Rias asked him, giving her a nod and continuing. "Tonight is a good example of how us Devils fight. You won't do anything but simply observe us."

"I will also explain to you certain traits a devil has. So pay attention." Issei nodded and hardened his eyes.

"During the 3-way war between us, angels and fallen, everyone has suffered greatly from the losses. Because of how long it went for, no one won and everyone lost too many soldiers." Rias explained. "Even the devils with 20 or so peerage members have died and couldn't make new armies."

"But the angels and fallen have also taken considerable losses." Akeno chided in the conversation. "Even though everyone had almost exhausted all of their manpower, we devils were still in a position where any one of them could kill all of us."

"Then, the devils had created a system where we could create armies of our own. That is called the [Evil Pieces]." Rias finished.

" [Evil Pieces]? You used Chess as a reference on the system?" Issei surmised, resulting in a nod from Akeno. "So that means..."

"She's here," Koneko announced, everyone in fighting positions. Yumi made a sword and grabbed its hilt from the scabbard, Koneko shifted into a fighting stance and Rias and Akeno merely relaxed. "I can smell her nearby."

Issei also felt someone near them, with an evil aura around her and the stench of blood getting stronger. He clenched his fists together and prepared himself.

"I smell something disgusting." A low voice echoed near them. "But I also smell something delicious. Is it sweet? Is it sour?" Soon, the Stray Devil revealed herself.

It was a curvaceous woman that wore... next to nothing. Her whole body was bare for the world to see and her bottom half was in hiding.

"Stray Devil Vizor. Wicked being who slew their master for power. You are more deserving of death. In the name of the house of Gremory, I will annihilate you!" Rias declared in a loud voice. Issei looked at his master with deadpan eyes.

"So... you just do that to every enemy you see? Or was it something you wanted to show me?" Rias had a small blush on her cheeks while everyone looked at me confused.

"It looked cool..." Rias lamely defended, crossing her arms and looking away. Issei still stared at her for a while before sighing.

"Sure, you do you Rias. You do you."

"How dare you ignore me?!" Vizor shouted as her bottom half exposed itself. It looked as though she took the bottom half of a chimera and made herself a pseudo-centaur with the look. She then started making a magic circle around her nipples as they grew half an inch. Issei wasn't drawn to the mammary glands but the magic circle itself. As though it wanted to throw logic out the window, lasers spewed out of it.

Issei quickly dodged, along with everyone as the lasers hit the wall behind them, corroding them like acid. "Now that's nasty."

"I will bathe in your blood, as red as your hair!" Vizor screamed more, thumping the ground with the massive creature's legs.

"It seems this Stray is witty. Yumi, teach her a lesson!" Rias commanded and her [Knight] nodded. With a burst of speed, she suddenly disappeared. That's what it looked like to the untrained eye but to Issei, Yumi just ran really fast.

"Issei, I will now tell you the characteristics of the [Evil Piece] and how they play in Chess," Rias said, making Issei pay attention. "Yumi represents the [Knight]. Speed is her advantage and her sword is the weapon."

As if to make a point, Yumi appeared above the Stray Devil and quickly slashed through Vizor's arms like nothing.

"GYAAAAAAAARGH!" Vizor screamed in pain as blood gushed out of her arms. Her appearance changed from a busty woman to a demented harpy with sharp teeth.

Yumi stopped in front of Vizor with a relaxed expression. The Stray saw the opportunity and decided to attack the defenseless girl, not even noticing the small one below her.

"Koneko's trait is simple." Before the Stray could land a hit, the small girl clenched her fists and threw a punch at the devil. The force impacted her across the room and smashed against the wall. "She possesses the [Rook], meaning immense strength and defense."

"... Weak." The loli simply said before wiping away the blood on her hand.

With the Stray broken and tired, Vizor made a poor attempt to escape with whatever energy is left in her. Only to be confronted with Akeno.

"Ara, ara. What should I do?" Akeno meekly said with her eyes closed.

While everyone was watching Akeno about to finish the Stray, Issei noticed a slight twitch in one of Vizor's arms.

"Rias!" Issei cried out as the arm suddenly pounced at the unassuming devil. He called his [Sacred Gear] and attacked the limb. "{Sledgehammer!}" His arm and fist miraged an image of a war-hammer and punched the arm away from Rias. The force made it crash through the wall and rubble crushed it.

Issei looked at the other arm and held out his arm at it. "{Giant Slice}" A line of power shot towards the hand and immediately disintegrated it into nothingness.

"Are you alright, Rias?" Issei asked his master behind him. Rias had a look of shock before getting herself together.

"Y-Yes. Thank you, Issei-kun." The [Pawn] nodded before looking at the Stray. Her eyes hardened like steel and commanded her [Queen]. "Akeno, if you would."

"Hai, Buchou," Akeno replied as a dangerous aura surrounded her. "Naughty girls who fight... must be punished." Electric magic emerged from her hands, erratic static appearing before her.

"Akeno is my [Queen], the vice-commander of my peerage and has all the traits of the pieces. " Rias finished as Akeno will now prepare to discipline the stray.

The [Queen] held her hands above her and powerful lightning struck the stray head-on. Vizor screamed in agony as the lightning fried her entire body, shocking every cell and bone until it was done.

Vizor twitched in response and let out a gasp of pain. "Ara, still alive. Then how about this?" Akeno let loose another thunderbolt at the stray, resulting in another scream.

"Akeno specializes in magical attacks and is also... a massive sadist." Rias explained, sighing from her [Queens] vices. Issei now knew for a fact...

To stay the hell away from Akeno and never make her mad. [LvL's] be damned.

A couple of lightning bolts later and Vizor is nothing more than a burnt piece of flesh still alive but horribly burnt. Rias calmly walked over the supposed body of Vizor. "Any last words?"

With every energy still inside her, Vizor only had a few left to say. "Kill me."

"Very well." Rias then made a big magic circle before her and a large demonic power poured in. Issei felt the power being dangerous and calmly watched.

"Checkmate." And the demonic power busted out, magic so powerful that it annihilated Vizor's body to the very last atom. Issei watched as the [Power of Destruction] destroyed Vizor's body with nothing left.

After which, there was none. What was left was only a black smudge.

"We're done," Rias said, before turning towards them with a smile. "Let's go home, everyone." Everyone nodded as they all walked out of the house.
