It's Halloween. One of the best holidays.
Garrett told you that he was going to arrive sometime in the evening but he seemed to be late. Your friendship was very strong although you haven't known each other for a very long time. There was a strange connection between you two.
While you were waiting you decided to dress up. You had a nun costume. You didn't find it scary enough so you decided to do more makeup.
'I need some fake blood...' you thought and started searching for it, but there wasn't any.
What to do now? Oh yes! You decided to write a text message to Garrett.

You: Hey Garrett...could you bring me some fake blood please? Hurry up! I miss you...

And now you just had to wait. Time went by very slow and you got more and more bored.
Garrett answered.

Garrett: Sorry baby I'm on my way. Your fake blood is in my hands...

Nice. Just one more thing. You had to pour some sweets into a huge orange bowl. It had plastic spiders on it. After you filled the bowl you put it on the table, close to the door.
'I hope many children will come tonight...'
You also prepared a huge pumpkin. Garrett and you were about to carve it together.
'I wonder how Garrett will dress up' you thought.
He didn't want to tell you what he was going to be on Halloween. He said that it's a secret so you got very curious about it.
Suddenly there was a loud knock on your door. You went to open it happily.
'It must be Garrett' you whispered to yourself.
But when you opened the door you realised that it wasn't him but four children who came.
"TRICK OR TREAT!" they shouted.
"Wait a minute guys!" you told them.
They were very cute in their costumes, you had to chuckle at them. You came back holding the huge bowl of sweets and you filled their bags with chocolate and candies. They ran away laughing so you sat back on the sofa. Your cat jumped next to you and started purring loudly. You decided to watch TV. There were horror films on every single channel. It was hard to decide which one to watch but finally you chose Psycho. You have already seen it many times but it was still exciting.

The film almost ended when you heard knocks again. And it was Garrett. You were so happy that you jumped on him.
"Hiiiiii!" you screamed.
"Hello there. Here's your blood."
He smiled at you while passing you the red liquid.
"Thanks a lot. I thought you were not coming at all" you told him sadly.
"Ahh sorry for being late bae... I just had something to do at home before I could have left" he apologised. "I like your costume" he said and giggled.
"It will be more terrifying as soon as I apply the blood. Anyway. Where's your costume?"
"Long story...let's carve the pumpkin first. I'll tell you everything meanwhile."
You agreed but first finished your makeup. When you went back to the table Garrett had already been working on the pumpkin. He looked at you and he seemed to be impressed.
"You were right. It's terrifying now" he said.
"You see"
You sat down and grabbed a knife.
"So. Why didn't you put a costume on?" you asked again.
"Are you sure you want to know?" he asked.
His voice made you worry.
"Of course I do"
He stood up and walked in front of you.
"You know...it'll sound crazy. But. I'm a vampire."
You started to laugh.
"I don't understand" you told him. "I don't even see your plastic vampire teeth!" you chuckled.
"No, that's not a joke or a costume. That's the truth."
He opened his mouth and you suddenly saw his teeth. At first you thought that it was fake but after a long conversation about it, you believed him.
You dropped the knife with which you were carving and you stood up. You looked Garrett in the eye.
"That is amazing Garrett!"
"Do you think? I thought you would be scared of me..."
"Never. I love you even more!"
He smiled at you an hugged you tightly.
"I love you too" he whispered.
You were standing there in each other's arms when someone knocked on the door.
"Kids..." you chuckled.
"Let's scare them!" said Garrett and went to open the door with his real vampire teeth out.
