Makotos pov

Standing before me were my five friends. To get out alive I had to convince them to leave. Sounds easy right? Well after everything we've heard they may be less than eager to go home.

I took a deep breath before turning to taka "taka we're friends right? I know you don't want to stay here"

He looked away "I'm sorry makoto but- what's the point of leaving one hell just to go to another"

"You wanted to become president of Japan right. You'll have the power to change the world!"

"You're right" he gasped "makoto thank you for showing me what a coward I've been. I'm ready to leave" he stepped behind me.

I turned to hina "Hina do you remember what sakura told you?"

"Never give up. Survive no matter what" she wiped some stray tears away with a smile "she'd be pretty mad at me for hesitating. Sorry sakura" she stepped behind me with a grin "I'm ready to fight with all I got!"

I turned to byakuya but before I could speak he held up a hand "I hope you weren't planning on sprouting that inspirational nonsense. I'm not lost. Even if the togami empire has fallen, I'm still here"

"Gahaha so cool" jill laughed manically "well if master going then so am I!" The two of them appeared behind me. All that's left is kyoko.

Her face has so many mixed emotions "kyoko We've done so much together. The last step is to go out that door. I'm sure you're father would have wanted you to truly live"

"Who knows what he would have wanted" she sighed "but I know one thing. I can't abandon you and I sure as hell can't let her win!"

She stood behind me. I turned to junko "this is it enoshima. You lose!"

"I lose?" Her eyes turned dark "after all that planning, after all I've sacrifice I've lost? Hahaha. Oh it feels so good!" She let out a shrill laugh "my dream is that I can share even a percentage of this despair. Oh I can die happy with this despair claiming my soul!" She reached out to pressed the execution button.

"Wait" I tried to stop her, even after all she did I didn't want to watch her die but she payed me no mind. Her attention was completely fixed on the button.

"Let's give it everything we've got. It's punishment time"
