Note: I DO NOT own Dragon Ball or Primal so don't report me. This is for entertainment purposes only and be warned that there will be blood, gore and some mature themes in this series and that this isn't for the faint of heart. With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

I think the northern regions, a lone, old mammoth was trekking across the frozen tundra in the middle of a blizzard. Due to his old age, he was too slow to keep up with the herd as he was left behind and lost sight of them. It tried to call out to them, no response. Some time later, the old mammoth found himself walking between a two walls of rock after the blizzard subsides.

He stops at the end, realizing that he'll have to go downhill. He then drops to his knees as carefully drags his legs onto the snow so that he wouldn't fall.

He barely made it ten feet before Broly and Spear jumped off the rocky walls with spears in hand as they literally stab the old mammoth in the back. The old mammoth roars in pain, standing on his hind legs and starts running, trying to get them off his back. Fang joins in the hunt, biting the old mammoth by the neck as Broly and Spear fell off.

While Fang was distracting the old mammoth, Broly and Spear jammed their spears into the back of the old mammoth's hind legs. The old mammoth turned, sending them flying towards Fang, hitting her in the face as they started falling downhill. The mammoth then rams into Fang, pushing her downhill with them. The trio immediately runs back up there as the old mammoth tries to run away. They had him surrounded as Fang roars at it. The old mammoth was distracted by Fang since she was the largest of the three.

This gave Broly the opportunity to jump onto the old mammoth's only tusk, this made the mammal try to shake him off. Broly wouldn't fall this time as he began repeatedly punching the old mammoth on the left side of it's face, making him bleed and giving Fang the opportunity to bite into the old mammoth's neck and Spear ramming his weapon into the mammoth's side as the large mammal fell to the ground.

Broly was ready to finish it off as he raised his fist into the air but then he saw the pleasing look in the mammoth's eyes. He paused for a moment but then noticed as the mammoth was trying to get back up. He had to finish him, they needed to eat. Broly then raised both his fists and slammed them into the old mammoth's head. It's trunk spewing blood before the old mammoth succumbed to death.

Broly then got down on one knee and placed one his blood covered hands onto the mammoth's head as he looked into it's eyes. He watched as it's eyes began to close slowly.

Fang licked the blood off of Broly's hands while Spear tore off fur and skin, wrapping it around himself to keep warm.

Broly and Fang didn't need a fur coat to keep warm as they cut open the mammoth's belly and begin to eat.

After some time, Broly and Spear used some of the mammoth's ribs and rope to build a sled as they filled it up with piles of mammoth meat. Spear held up the mammoth's tusk, trying to put it on Fang so she could pull it. But, of course, Fang had no idea what he was trying to do as she started walking away. Broly then volunteered to pull the meat, putting the mammoth's tusk on his shoulders as he began to pull.

Later on, a blizzard had started. Fang had left them behind as Spear aimed to help Broly pull in order to catch up. They could hear Fang calling out to them and they soon found her.

Broly was getting tired since he dragged the meat for miles. Spear and Fang sat down with him for a moment until Broly saw something.

Broly: Friend . . .

He said, putting a hand on Spear's shoulder as he pointed towards a cave in the distance. Spear then decided to take his turn in pulling the meat as they headed towards the cave.

Later at night, a pack of saber-toothed wolves were feasting on the carcass of the old mammoth. They stopped as they saw something in the distance, it was heading in their direction which made them run away as the old mammoth's herd had found his body.

The herd surrounded the carcass as a large, brown male, the leader, began moving his trunk all over the carcass, inspecting it. The leading Bull's eyes widened as he noticed that the old male's tusk was missing. He then noticed tracks belonging to Broly, Spear and Fang. The leading Bull then roars into the sky as the sound echoed for miles around.

Meanwhile, Broly and Fang were eating the mammoth meat they brought with them as they sat close to a fire. Broly noticed Spear sitting in front of the cave wall and watched as the Neanderthal made a cave drawing of him, Broly and Fang hunting the mammoth.

This made Broly think of his past, when he was just a boy, Paragus would usually hunt for him. But when Broly was about 4 years old, Paragus brought Broly on a hunting trip with him. They were hidden in some bushes, keeping quiet as they stalked a lone Megaloceros, a giant deer with unbelievably large antlers.

Note: Megaloceros is not the same animal Spear and his son hunted in the flashback of episode 3.

Paragus signaled Broly to move to a certain position as they got ready to attack. Soon enough, Paragus leaped from the bushes, stabbing the Megaloceros in it's ribs. It tried to shake him off but Paragus wouldn't let up.

Paragus: Now, Broly!!

He yelled to which the young Broly lunged out of the bushes and stabbed the Megaloceros in the neck, making it fall to it's side as Paragus got out of the way. The Megaloceros started coughing blood as it looked up towards the saiyans.

Paragus: Broly, you brought it down . . . end it's misery.

Broly looked at the dying Megaloceros with it's pleading eyes.

Paragus: Do it, Broly!!

He yelled, Broly got a little scared by this as he raised his fists into the air and started beating the Megaloceros to death, blood covering his hands.

Broly was saddened by what he had done as Paragus puts a hand on his shoulder.

Paragus: I know it's hard, killing for the first time, but we need to hunt for food, Broly. We must do whatever it takes to survive this harsh, cruel, savage, primal planet. Do you understand, son?

Kid Broly: . . . Yes, father . . .

He said, still saddened as they started collecting the Megaloceros's meat.

Back in the present, the cave started shaking which alerted the trio. They then saw dozens of small rocks falling from the ceiling and quickly ran out the cave as it began to collapse in on itself as they fell into the snow. They then looked up to see a herd of Mammoths staring down at them.

Broly & Spear got out their weapons as Fang roared at the behemoths.

The brown, leading Bull stood on his hind legs and attempted to crush them but they quickly dodged him. Broly & Spear made sure not to get crushed by the massive legs of the other Mammoths as they tried to crush them.

Fang, however, was not small enough to evade the Mammoths as one rammed into her. Spear ran to help Fang but two Mammoths tried to attack him. Broly was going to help Fang as well, but one Mammoth caught him off guard as it sent the Saiyan flying as he got hit by a second mammoth midair, falling to the ground.

Broly gritted his teeth as he started to get angry, throwing his spear towards a mammoth and into it's eye. The mammoth roars in pain as Broly yells while charging towards it and giving it an uppercut. He then leaped towards another mammoth, kicking it in the face before shooting a ki blast in it's face. Broly then proceeded to throw a barrage of ki blasts all around him, hitting several mammoths as they roared in pain.

He glanced to see Spear managing to run towards Fang and helping her with a mammoth trying to kill her before he continues his assault against the Mammoth Herd. The leading Bull charged towards Broly, the Saiyan quickly used all his strength to grab the Mammoth's tusks, stopping it from running him over. Both struggled as they tried to push one another, but they seemed equally matched.

Unfortunately, another Mammoth attacked Broly from behind, grabbing the Saiyan with his trunk and throwing him to the side. Broly quickly got up as he leaped towards the leading Bull as it charged towards him. This was a mistake as the Bull hits Broly but he didn't fall as another Mammoth came from behind as the Saiyan was sandwiched between the two behemoths. Broly tried to get out of there, punching the leading Bull in the face but his struggle didn't last long as the two Mammoths started crushing Broly.

Broly started yelling and eventually screamed in pain as the Saiyan could feel his bones starting to crack.

Suddenly, Spear started yelling as loud as he could, lifting the tusk of the old mammoth they hunted earlier. All the mammoths turned around to look, making them let go of Broly as the Saiyan fell to the ground and ceasing their attack on Fang.

The other mammoths made way for the leader as he approached Spear. The Neanderthal started swinging the tusk wildly at the leading Bull while yelling until he tired himself out. The Neanderthal then looked up towards the leading Bull and raised the tusk into the air. The leading Bull then wraps his trunk around the tusk and carries it, the entire herd begins to move out, walking past a confused Broly and Fang.

Spear went to help Broly up, Fang standing by their side as they watched the herd until they were no longer in their sights.

In the morning, the sun was rising as the herd made it to their destination. A snow covered canyon, to which they walk into. The leading Bull then puts down the fallen old bull's tusk in the middle of the canyon. He then closed his eyes and began to sway his body side to side, the other Mammoths did the same thing for a few minutes before each and every one them rubbed their trunks against the tusk. The leading Bull was the last one to touch the tusk as they all stood there in the middle of the canyon, littered with dozens of Mammoth skeletons, having finished mourning their fallen herd member in the Mammoth Graveyard.
