Megumi: People in rubber monster suits destroy tiny cities and beat each other up!

Toomi: And these three have been unmatched in the Tokusatsu industry to the point even today, their popularity stood strong and ever growing

Megumi: But the biggest question everyone have is that which of these three would win if they were to fight. That's where we come in.

Toomi: For this fight, all fighters will be at the same height as they were in the Showa era but will have feats from movies, animes, games and comics.

Megumi: I mean it's for the best due to how gigantic most recent versions of Godzilla have been. She's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Godzilla Stomps into What if Battles

Toomi: It was the 1954, the time where the Americans deploys the nuclear bombs Fat Man and Little Boy down onto Hiroshima, causing the death of over one billion people.

Megumi: But at the same time, the nuke also kind of hit a dying dinosaur, mutating the little guy completely.

Sachi: Mutating into a powerful monster named Godzilla.

Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEEEONK!!!

Megumi: And so big bad Godzilla began going around, destroying everything in sight and boy did he do a pretty good job at it.

Toomi: That's not all. Ever since his arrival, monsters began popping up from all around the globe, staring with a mutated Ankylosaurus named Anguirus.

Sachi: And then a Divine Moth named Mothra, a mutated Pteradon named Rodan, a Shisa named King Caesar and the list goes on and on.

Megumi: At the same time, Godzilla even fought King Kong, his film rival from America.

Toomi: Being created from pure nuclear energy, Godzilla possesses the ability to emit sheer radiation from his body, regenerate his body cells and can generate magnetic waves around him.

Megumi: And let's not forget Godzilla's most iconic attack, his Atomic Breath! A powerful beam of radiation that not only destroys everything in it's paths but in most of Godzilla's movies and films, it finishes off his opponents with one blast

Sachi: Godzilla has also gained Godly strength and durability, enabling him to tank blows from monsters like King Ghidorah and Monster X, which are races of three headed alien dragons capable of destroying entire planets

Megumi: Let's not forget how not even Thor and Hulk could even hurt him in the comics. And I ain't lyin'!

Toomi: But in the game Super Godzilla, when Godzilla was hit with a nuclear bomb, it grants him enough power to transform into Super Godzilla, which is kind of like a Super Saiyan transformation that enables him to defeat Bagan, the most powerful monster in the game

Sachi: With or without his super forms, Godzilla has shown incredible amount of strength, capable of fighting and defeating a massive army of Kaijus from all across the world.

Megumi: And he even defeated his seventh incarnation of himself. The failed American Godzilla, Zilla. Ha! Take that America!

Toomi: Godzilla has also shown unspeakable durability, capable of tanking over 120 nuclear missiles raining down on him. An average nuke is capable of wiping out 100 square miles. Considering if each nuke has the same amount of megatons with each being 100 megatons, which means that Godzilla has survived having 12000 megatons of TNT

Megumi: Impressed? Well don't be. Godzilla has also tanked multiple Gravity Beams from King Ghidorah, the very same Three-Headed Dragon capable of wiping out all life on a planet with such attacks alone.

Sachi: Godzilla is also capable of lifting monsters as large as Keizer Ghidorah and can even stop a massive claw from the Trilopod Queen Magita with his bare hands.

Toomi: Actually yes. While Godzilla is tough, he is far from invincible. His most historical defeat was the time the Oxygen Destroyer killed the original Godzilla back in 1954.

Sachi: And Godzilla is also prone to overheating as he was killed by a nuclear meltdown in his Burning Form. Which is ironic coming from a dinosaur reborn from nuclear waste.

Toomi: Godzilla is also no exception to exhaustion, having to deplete most of his energy through his Atomic Breath. Especially since he even went to sleep for 15 days straight after wasting all that power, giving an entire city population and the military more than enough time to evacuate and set up traps to imprison Godzilla

Megumi: And while Godzilla's body is resistant to Military artillery, his gills not and hitting them can hurt Godzilla

Weakness

Godzilla is not invincible; both his durability and healing factor has limits.

The Oxygen Destroyer is his most iconic weakness; able to disintegrate his flesh.

Burning Godzilla died from a radioactive meltdown; meaning enough radiation or heat can kill Godzilla.

Atomic Breath becomes self-destructive if Godzilla has a massive hole near his neck or shoulders (GMK).

Sachi: What's more, while Godzilla may have an impressive win record in his history of battles, Kaijus like Mothra, King Kong, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla and Gigan have been the the few that are powerful enough to defeat and even kill Godzilla.

Megumi: Well, even with all those weaknesses, Godzilla's wins have often times trumps his losses. And every broken kaiju will know, that their opponent have to be invincible as they take a last look while they're alive, Godzilla is King, King of the Monsters

Shin Hayata transforms into Ultraman for a What if Battles

Toomi: In the faraway M78 Nebula, there exists a planet without a star to orbit. It is sixty times the size of Earth, with a population of over 18 billion.

Megumi: Its landmasses and cities are made of dazzling green crystal, and it is powered by an artificial sun kept in a massive tower.

Sachi: This planet is the Land of Light, and it is home to the Ultras, guardians of the multiverse

Toomi: Over 260,000 years ago, the Ultras came to be when the Land of Light's native humanoids created the Plasma Spark to replace its dying sun. Upon the Spark's activation, it created a cosmic burst of Differator Rays that evolved the race into the superpowered silver giants they are now.

Megumi: However, the radiation from the blast also affected the rest of the universe, mutating life forms and aliens into kaiju

Sachi: Seeing the consequences of their empowerment, the Ultras decided to make up for this by using their power for good, eventually forming the Intergalactic Defense Force to assign heroes to different planets in need of protecting.

Megumi: And eventually, these monsters came to Earth, a planet the Ultras would come to cherish. It all began when a Space Ranger from the Force pursued the criminal monster Bemular to Earth. As he landed, his Flash Travel sphere accidentally collided with a VTOL jet belonging to the SSSP, humanity's elite anti-monster task force.

Toomi: Pilot Shin Hayata was killed in the crash, but, out of remorse, the Ultra merged his life force with the man's, bringing him back to life and granting him a device known as the Beta Capsule. From then on, when monsters and aliens proved too much for the SSSP to handle, with a press of the button on the Capsule's side, Hayata became... Ultraman!

Megumi: Forty meters tall, 35,000 tons in weight, and boasting 20,000 years of experience, Ultraman is a mighty force of justice, and boasts the strength to match. His punch is said to carry the force of fifty charging elephants, and his kick is hundreds of times more powerful than would be expected from even his gigantic height.

Toomi: Ultraman's speed is great too. His official stats say he can fly at Mach 5 in Earth's atmosphere, run at 280 MPH, and swim at 230 MPH... but his in-series feats exceed those numbers. Like the time he was able to react in time to shield his eyes from Zaragas' blinding light flashes, the time he flew a nuclear bomb into deep space in just ten seconds, and the time he spun around fast enough to straight up overload the reality-warping powers of Bullton!

Sachi: Ultraman fights with his strength and speed using a style of judo, implemented by his first suit actor. His style primarily relies on grapples, throws and chops. But he doesn't just dish out damage; he can take it incredibly well! The red and silver "suit" he wears is actually his skin, the Ultra Armor, and it grants him the innate resistance of other Ultras and more.

Toomi: But Ultraman's true strength lies in his offensive beam attacks. His signature move, the Specium Ray. A mighty blast of light particles fired from his crossed hands. A reaction between positive and negative energy, it's 500,000 degrees hot, and carries 500,000 horsepower, or 372,850,000 watts, of energy. In the original series, nearly every monster Ultraman faced was destroyed or fatally wounded with a single shot of this beam.

Megumi: After the Spacium Beam, his most iconic attack is the Ultra-Slash, a Destructo Disc-style buzzsaw of light that cuts through monsters like butter. It can also split into multiple copies of itself, and home in on evasive foes.

Sachi: But his most powerful attack is easily the spiraling green Ultra Attack Ray, which causes a timed explosion that blew the plant monster Keronia to bits...

Megumi: AFTER HE HAD TANKED THE SPECIUM RAY LIKE IT WAS NOTHING!

Toomi: Ultraman also has a device called the Ultra Crown in Ultraman Super Fighter Legend that grants him an armor called Super Fighter Armor, which enhances his already incredible strength

Sachi: And note that in the show, Super Fighter is a legendary being who can shatter planets with a punch, and to become his successor, one has to be powerful enough to win the Galactic Strongest Tournament.

Megumi: Which Ultraman not only won but he even defeated a powerful monster called Tsuiphon, a space Kaiju that defeated the Ultra Brothers and Kaijus like Gomora, Red King, Zetton, killed Mephilas. Which his death angered Ultraman to the point he even gained a Super Saiyan kind of Transformation that defeated him.

Toomi: That's not really Godzilla Megumi. That's Jirahs, though he was made out of Showa Godzilla's suit but adding the frills.

Megumi: That's pretty uncreative, did they run of budget?

Sachi: You're actually not wrong there Megumi.

Toomi: Anyway, Ultraman is incredibly powerful, but he has one huge weakness to exploit: he and his kind are powered by solar energy from stars. In Earth's atmosphere, most of the sunlight is filtered out through the ozone layer, reducing Ultraman's ability to process it. As a result, he can only fight without exposure to direct sunlight for around three minutes

Megumi: The tremendous energy Ultraman gets from the sun diminishes rapidly in Earth's atmosphere. The warning light starts to blink. Should the light go out, it will mean Ultraman will never rise again!

Sachi: Yes. That "warning light" is his Color Timer, a device implanted on Space Rangers to measure their energy and keep them from accidentally going over the limit. Nearly every Ultra intending to protect a planet, has one.

Weakness

Needs Solar Energy to survive

The Earth's atmosphere weakens the Ultras the longer they stay in their form because it naturally filters out the majority of light that reaches its surface.

Cannot survive on Earth for more than three minutes.

Requires either a human host or a human form to survive on Earth

Color timer can injure Ultraman should it be damaged

If this organ is damaged with enough force, it can seriously injure Ultraman as seen when he was defeated by Zetton. In some cases the color timer can be pierced by opponents like Tsuiphon.

Despite his strength, Ultraman wasn't strong enough to carry Skydon, a monster that weighed 200,000 tons.

Toomi: In addition, due to their reliance on the heat of the stars, Ultras are vulnerable to cold temperatures. Ultraseven, for instance, was quickly incapacitated when the Alien Pole created a massive blizzard, even when he wasn't in his Ultra form.

Sachi: And when the Plasma Spark was stolen from the Land of Light, no Ultra on the planet escaped from being frozen solid... except, ironically, Ultraman and Ultraseven. Though they were forced to stay in their human host and form, remaining as Shin Hayata and Dan Moroboshi to retain their powers.

Toomi: However, even with limited time, Ultras don't stand around and do nothing for three minutes, as shown by the countless monsters Ultraman and his brethren have defeated, the countless alien invasions they've stopped, and the countless times they've saved the world and even the universe.

Sachi: Even after his time protecting Earth was done, Ultraman would occasionally return to aid and sometimes save his successors, lending them his experience and advice in addition to fighting by their side.

Megumi: Indeed, the first Ultraman set the path for every Ultra guardian after him. Even thousands of years after his first adventure, he continues to stand as one of the greats, and a true intergalactic hero of light. May monstrous destroyers and alien invaders beware his power!

Gamera Spins into What if Battles

<Cue: Save World Get Girl by I Fight Dragons>

Toomi: Long ago, an ancient civilization (which would one day inspire the myths of Atlantis) was attacked by a race of giant serpents that threatened to destroy their very way of life.

Megumi: I would say that escalated quickly, but that wasn't even the half of it.

Sachi: To combat these giant reptiles (whom later became known as the Garasharp), the Atlantians decided to answer the call by creating their own race of monsters. Specifically, giant vampire bat-like creatures called the Gyaos

Toomi: At first, their creations were a stellar success, as they wiped the giant snakes nearly to extinction.

Megumi: Though surprise surprise, with their food source now gone, the Gyaos turned on their masters, and almost wiped them to extinction. For a technologically advanced civilization capable of creating life, you would think they would have some kind of fail-safe to keep their murder birds under control.

Toomi: They actually do. But what was their solution to the betrayal of their own monsters? Why, create another race of giant monsters, of course! Obviously, they never learned from the mistakes of the past.

Sachi: Except that this time, it was a success. The results are a race of giant fire breathing turtles which were successful in quelling the Gyaos though most of them were killed off.

Megumi: All except one who would be known as Gamera, the Guardian of the Universe.

Sachi: And because of the rising levels of carbon dioxide and nitric acid compounds caused by global warming, the Gyaos eggs hatched, since it was now the right environment for them, Gamera then had awoken to defend the modern day civilization and the planet from his nemesis, the Gyaos and any other threats.

Toomi: For a giant turtle monster that weighs 10,000 tons, Gamera is quite damn agile, being somehow able to swing around a pull up bar and jump in the air with a solid landing better than any Olympics gymnast.

Megumi: Not to mention his variety of attacks. Gamera can fight hand to hand with his claws and tusks but his main attack is his fire breath which he can breathe in large streams or shoot out as individual fireballs. It is also so strong he can even use it underwater

Sachi: Well, technically it is plasma which is basically a far hotter form of fire. Considering this, it makes sense that it is that strong as the hottest man made plasma exceeded 3.6 million degrees, so the "fireballs" of Gamera can destroy or melt through practically anything.

Megumi: But that's not all! Gamera can literally fucking EAT fire! And when he does, it heals and powers him up making him fight back stronger and re-energized.

Sachi: Gamera was built using Mana, which is an etheral energy force connecting all places, things, and people. Someone's level of Mana depends on how much power they possess over others. Since Gamera is the guardian of the universe always protecting everyone from danger, his mana level is astronomical.

Megumi: Using his advanced manipulation of mana, Gamera gains access to his most powerful attacks like his kaiju sized falcon punch! Or even a giant destructive fiery mana beam shot directly from his chest!

Toomi: Gamera has accomplished some quite impressive things. His plasma fire is stronger than the Tsar bomb, he is fast enough to catch a missile that was going Mach 10, smart enough to repair an alien spacecraft, and he is durable to survive an explosion which destroyed the entire city of Sendai. An explosion that yielded 112 megatons of force.

Toomi: But despite his intelligence, he is not infallible. Gamera's supposedly impenetrable defenses have been pierced before, one such example is when Viras pierced through his shell.

Sachi: And being a reptile means he's vulnerable to extreme cold as shown in his fight against Barugon.

Megumi: And unlike Godzilla, he is somewhat susceptile to conventional weaponary.

Megumi: Man, after all this, there is something I would like to say

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

In the streets of Tokyo, all seems to be peaceful.

That is until right at that moment, something large bursts out of the water.

SPLASH!!!

Looming over the city, a large dinosaur like creature with large spiky dorsal plates running down his back opens his eyes as he lets out one loud bloodcurling roar.

Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEONK!!!

Godzilla stomps into the city, smashing through buildings as he begins his rampage.

However, right at that moment, Shin Hayata notices the monster and he pulls out his device, transforming from man into Ultra.

WHOOM!!!

Ultraman: SHUUUWATCH!!!

Ultraman lets out one battle cry as he stood across Godzilla, attracting the Kaiju's attention.

Godzilla: SKREEEEONK!!!

Ultraman: HEEEYAH!!!

Both Godzilla and Ultraman stares down at each other, preparing to fight when all of a sudden, something flies across the two giants, attracting their attention.

WHOOSH!!!

The figure flies above the air, striking into both Godzilla and Ultraman.

WHAM!!!

As both Godzilla and Ultraman drops onto the ground, the figure lands, causing them to look up.

The new comer looks like a turtle shell flying like a saucer before retracting it's limbs, revealing itself to be a giant turtle

Gamera has arrived to join the battle.

Gamera: AAAEEEERRRR!!!

Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

Ultraman: SHUWATCH!!!

Both Godzilla and Ultraman roar and screams out as they raises up their guard.

All three giants faces off, raising up their guard before lunging forward, preparing to fight.

Ultraman looks at Gamera, Gamera looks at Godzilla and Godzilla looks back at Ultraman, the intensity of the atmosphere growing as neither Kaijus move.

After what seems like an eternity, all hell broke lose when Godzilla lets out on loud roar.

Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

Gamera: AAAAEEERRRRR!!!

Ultraman: SHUWATCH!!!

Gamera and Ultraman lets out their own battel cries and all three giants charges straight towards each other, signaling the start of the fight.

Announcer: Fight!

BAM!!!

Godzilla and Gamera pounces onto each other, striking at each other with their claws.

WHAM!!! WHAM!!!

While Godzilla and Gamera are locked in battle, at that moment, Ultraman jumps in, delivering a punch into Gamera's face.

WHAM!!!

Gamera: AEEERRRRRR!!!

While Gamera recoils from the pain, Ultraman ducks, dodging a swipe from Godzilla before punching the Kaiju repeatly in the torso.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

As Godzilla backs away, he narrows his eyes as his spikes began glowing blue, charging up as he unleashes a powerful blast of his atomic breath down onto Ultraman.

FWOOOSH!!!

Ultraman was sent crashing from the blast, lying on the floor as Gamera gets up, kicking Ultraman to the side.

WHAM!!!

As Ultraman rolls over, Gamera turns around unleashing a ball of fire right into Godzilla.

FWOOSH!!!

Godzilla: SKREEEEEEONK!!!

Godzilla roars out in agony as he felt the fire sing his flesh though that did little to slow him down.

Godzilla swings his tail out, causing Gamera to turn around, using his shell to shield himself from the attack.

WHAM!!!

At the same time, Ultraman creates an energy disc around his hand, closing in and throwing it at Godzilla, the spinning energy blade cutting into Godzilla's flesh.

SLASH!!!

Godzilla back away, maddened by the pain before leaping into the air, sliding across the floor in a jump kick, though Ultraman grabs onto Gamera, moving him in front of him as a meat shield just as Godzilla's feet slams hard into Gamera's torso.

BAM!!!

Gamera: AEEEERRRRR!!!

Ultraman: SHHEEEYAH!!!

Both Gamera and Ultraman lets out screams of agony as Gamera falls back, landing on top of Ultraman in the process.

As Ultraman rolls over, Godzilla stomps past him, grabbing Gamera by the tail before slinging the giant turtle across, striking into Ultraman.

WHAM!!!

Godzilla then throws Gamera up into the air, only for Gamera to retract his head, arms and legs, spinning in the air as he began hovering above the two.

WHOOM!!!

Godzilla charges up an atomic breath before unleashing a powerful blast upwards, only for Gamera to easily dodge the attack.

At that moment, Ultraman creates an arrow like Slash ray before throwing it onto Godzilla, creating an explosion upon impact.

KABOOM!!!

Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

Godzilla lets out one agonising roar, dropping onto the ground as Ultraman flies up into the air, flying after Gamera.

Gamera moves his head outwards, flying as he unleashing torrents of fireballs at the Ultra warrior.

FWOOM!!! FWOOM!!! FWOOM!!!

At the same time, Ultraman throws energy discs back at Gamera.

VREEE!!! VREEE!!! VREEE!!!

Both Ultra Warrior and Giant Turtle flies across the air at rapid speed, clashing back and forth.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

At the same time, Godzilla pushes himself up, shaking his head as he look up, watching two of his opponents battling in the air.

Knowing he don't have the speed nor the arial advantage, Godzilla simply moves away to regain his stamina whilst his opponents are busy fighting each other to care.

Swooping across the air, Ultraman homes in as Gamera roars back.

Gamera: AAAEEERRRR!!!

Ultraman flips in the air, delivering a hard kick into Gamera.

WHAM!!!

Though due to the turtle's shell, the attack does little to Gamera and the kaiju retaliates by slamming into Ultraman.

WHAM!!!

Ultraman recoils, throwing several Energy Discs at Gamera, most of them bouncing off his shell though two cuts into Gamera's exposed face and hands, drawing blood.

Gamera: AAAEEERRRRR!!!

Ultraman then flies above Gamera, latching on before pushing the giant turtle down.

At that moment, Godzilla looks up from the ground, his spikes glowing blue as he unleashes a powerful blast of his atomic breath.

THOOM!!!

Gamera hides his head and arms inside his shell as Ultraman pushes through Godzilla's atomic breath with Gamera's shell, pushing before slamming into Godzilla, creating a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

As the smoke clears, Gamera pushes himself up, shaking his head before looking around.

Both Godzilla and Ultraman are nowhere in sight.

Thinking he has won, Gamera let's out one victorious roar.

Gamera: AAAEEERRRR!!!

Big mistake.

At that moment, something rose from the debris, looming over the unsuspecting Gamera.

By the time Gamera realises, it's too late. Godzilla grabs onto Gamera, lifting him up before slamming him hard into the ground.

CRASH!!!

Gamera pushes himself up just as Godzilla swings his tail down, striking into him.

WHAM!!!

Angered, Gamera swings his claws out, striking into Godzilla.

WHAM!!!

Gamera then unleashed a ball of fire right into the King of the Monsters, blasting him back.

FWOOM!!!

Godzilla: SKREEEONK!!!

Godzilla let's put a roar at Gamera just as the giant turtle's shell began glowing bright, charging up all his mana into his chest for one powerful attack.

Godzilla's eyes widens just as Gamera unleashes a powerful blast of mana, firing right at him.

THOOM!!!

Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

Godzilla roars out in pain as he felt the blast striking into him.

At the same time, Ultraman pushes himself up and upon seeing the blast of mana heading straight for him, he quickly creates an energy shield, shielding himself from the blast.

THOOM!!!

The magnitude of the blast incinerated an entire row of buildings, setting the city on fire.

Alarms blared as Gamera finishes his technique, dropping down as he felt himself drained completely of mana.

However, right at that moment, something flies across the air, slicing right through his arm.

SLASH!!!

Gamera widens his eyes, feeling a sharp seering pain as his arm slides off his socket, spilling green blood as the giant turtle lets out one agonising roar.

Gamera: AAAEEERRRRRR!!!

To make matters worst, right at that moment, Godzilla resurfaces from the pile of rubble, his wounds healing as his entire body began heating up.

Godzilla lunges forward, striking Gamera across the face.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Godzilla then grabs the weakened Gamera before tossing the turtle up into the air.

His Dorsal Plates glows as Godzilla spun around, charging up his atomic breath before firing a hyper spiral ray upwards into Gamera, blasting the turtle into the sky.

THOOM!!!

Gamera's shell began heating up as it heads higher and higher up into the Earth's atmosphere, burning up the giant turtle in the process.

Gamera: AAAEEERRRR!!!

Gamera let's out one final roar as the hyper spiral ray blasts right through his torso, burning through his body before going off in one massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Godzilla stares at in the sky, the blazing inferno dies down as the King of the Monster lets out one triumphant roar

Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

KO!

Though emerging victorious, Godzilla looks back down, realisation dawns on him as he still has one more opponent to deal with.

Ultraman stood strong and tall, getting into a fighting stance as he screams out.

Ultraman: SHUWATCH!!!

Godzilla: SKREEEEONK!!!

Godzilla let's our one roar, sprinting forward as both he and Ultraman grapples onto each other.

Ultraman deliver a knee right into Godzilla's torso, forcing the King of the Monsters to shove the Ultra Warrior back.

Ultraman leaps up, karate chopping Godzilla in the head.

WHAM!!!

Angered, Godzilla swings his tail, prompting Ultraman to dodge by performing a back flip.

Ultraman then began spinning his body around, creating several energy rings around his body.

Puzzled, Godzilla watches as the rings moves out of Ultraman's body before lowering themselves onto Godzilla, shocking him.

Godzilla growls as he tries to move his arms, finding himself bound by the rings.

Ultraman then halts his spinning, realising that Godzilla is bound and helpless before using this as an opportunity to strike.

Ultraman circles around Godzilla, punching and kicking the King of the Monsters across his body.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Godzilla grunts in agony as he felt every stroke from the Ultra.

Ultraman: Hgn!

Ultraman grunts as he creates an energy disc around his hand, preparing to cut right into his opponent's flesh when suddenly, Godzilla unleashes a powerful nuclear pulse.

THOOM!!!

The powerful pulse instantly disintegrates the rings while blasting back Ultraman in the process.

CRASH!!!

Ultraman crashes back first into the building before looking up, firing a Specium Beam right onto Godzilla.

VREEEEEE!!!

Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

Godzilla roars out in agony as the impact of the blast sends him crashing, back, crashing right into a nuclear power plant.

Godzilla shakes his head, pushing himself up as he looks around, realisation struck him upon where he is.

Ultraman: HEYAH!!!

Ultraman prepares to fire another Specium Beam, firing it right at Godzilla.

VREEEE!!!

Big mistake.

Godzilla quickly shifts his body to the side, dodging the blast as it struck right into the nuclear power plant, the impact creating a nuclear level explosion.

KABOOM!!!

The thermal nuclear power sends Ultraman flying back, crashing through the buildings as radiation booms through the city.

Ultraman grasps his head, pushing himself up and he looks, what he saw causes him to look up in shock.

The radiation began to slowly affect Godzilla, causing his muscles to grow while growing sharp curled spikes from his shoulders, his body growing larger while emitting an unimaginable amount of radiation.

Godzilla has transformed into Super Godzilla!

Super Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEEEONK!!!

Super Godzilla let's out one bloodcurdling roar, shaking the buildings nearby as he faces off Ultraman with his new found power.

Ultraman fires an arrow shape blast right at Super Godzilla, watching it explode upon impact.

KABOOM!!!

However, as the smoke clear, Super Godzilla stood there, barely flinching from the attack.

Clenching his fist, Super Godzilla throws one powerful punch straight into Ultraman's face, just one blow sending the Ultra crashing across the floor.

As Ultraman winces, right at that moment, his Color Timer began beeping while flashing red.

Dee Doo! Dee Doo! Dee Doo!

Ultraman clasps onto his Color Timer, looking up as he began speaking to Godzilla.

Ultraman: You may look like some of the monsters I have faced but yet, you are different from them. Your power far exceeds them. But...

Ultraman then began equipping his Ultra Crown, saying to Super Godzilla

Ultraman: I won't give up.

Donning the Ultra Crown, Ultraman's appearance began changing, his Color Timer stops as his body is now equipped with armor.

Ultraman has become the Super Fighter!

Ultraman: HAAAHHHH!!!

Super Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEONK!!!

Both Super Godzilla and Ultraman lunges towards each other, throwing a punch which collides into each others faces.

BAM!!!

Ultraman punches Super Godzilla across his face.

BAM!!!

Super Godzilla swings his tail across, striking into Ultraman.

BAM!!!

Ultraman fires an arrow shape energy blast at Super Godzilla, causing it to explode upon impact.

KABOOM!!!

Super Godzilla charges up an atomic breath before firing it right onto Ultraman.

THOOM!!!

The magnitude of the blast, having increased from the transformation sends Ultraman flying, doing way more damage than before.

Ultraman pushes himself up, hearing his Colour Timer go off once again as he says to Super Godzilla.

Ultraman: No...I can't give up...I won't give up!

Ultraman's body began glowing a bright gold as the Ultra warrior unleashes a powerful golden aura.

BUSSSSHHHH!!!

Having reached his new Super Form, Ultraman glares at Super Godzilla who began roaring at him.

Super Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

Super Godzilla throws a punch, only for Ultraman to simply stand there, not flinching from the attack.

Super Godzilla widens his eyes, surprised at his opponent's new found power just as Ultraman throws his leg outwards, delivering a hard kick into Super Godzilla's torso.

POW!!!

Super Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

Super Godzilla let's our one agonising roar only to be followed by a punch in the face.

WHAM!!!

Ultraman throws his energy disc at Super Godzilla, the blade slicing right into his left.

SLASH!!!

Super Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

Blood poured from his wounds as Super Godzilla looks up, watching as Ultraman puts his hands back , the energy moving from his body into his arm in the form of rings before thrusting them at Super Godzilla.

The rings struck Super Godzilla and Ultraman crosses his arm and clenches his fist, causing Super Godzilla to go off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

As the smoke clears, Ultraman looks up, realising that the impact of the blow has drained most of Godzilla's energy to the point he has reverted back into his base form.

Though tired and injured and at a serious disadvantage, Godzilla still has one more ace up his sleeve.

Closing his eyes, Godzilla began absorbing every ounce of radiation around him, his body smoking and turning red.

FWOOSH!!!

Smoke bellows out of Godzilla as the King of the Monsters emits thermal nuclear energy, the sheer heat melting everything in his path.

Godzilla has entered his Burning Form.

Charging up every ounce of nuclear energy, Burning Godzilla unleashes a powerful Thermal Nuclear Pulse across the area, causing everything to erupt in a nuclear explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Ultraman raises up his arms, shielding himself from the radiation, as he felt himself getting pushed back from the attack.

But luckily, his Super Form has not only rendered him invulnerable to Burning Godzilla's Thermal Nuclear Pulse but the attack has given Ultraman the opening he needs.

Ultraman puts his hands back in his signature 'L' pose but instead of firing his usual Specium Beam, Ultraman began charging up, firing his Giga Specium Ray.

VREEEEEEE!!!

The beam struck onto Godzilla, blasting right into him.

THOOM!!!

Godzilla: SKREEEEEONK!!!

Godzilla let's put one final roar before his entire body began disintegrating before going off in one massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

With Godzilla dead, the golden aura around Ultraman vanishes and the Ultra warrior reverts back to his base form.

Dropping down onto his knees, Ultraman pants out in exhaustion, his Colour Timer resumes beeping.

Though injured and exhausted from his fight, Ultraman stood up, emerging victorious from his fight as he looks up, letting out one final cry.

Ultraman: SHUWATCH!!!

Ultraman takes off into the air, flying into the rising sun in the distance.

KO!

Megumi: So, I guess we finally know which of these companies is the superior one.

Toomi: This is one incredibly intense match to say due to how each of these fighters are capable of countering each other.

Sachi: Like Godzilla's strength, Ultraman's skills and Gamera's defenses. Though this isn't a clear cut rock paper scissors match.

Toomi: Which is where we start off with Gamera. Despite his shell providing him better protection however, he's the weakest out of the three for many reasons, firstly due to how Gamera can get injured from getting pierced by weaker monsters like Viras while Godzilla and Ultraman has tanked even up to nuclear level explosions from much stronger opponents.

Megumi: Not only that but Godzilla has thrown down bigger Kaijus, having threw around Keizer Ghidorah who weighs about 100 000 tons, a monster heavier than not only Godzilla, but heavier than the kind of monsters Gamera faced.

Sachi: And plus even if we ignore Godzilla, Gamera wouldn't have fared any better against Ultraman. Sure, his flight can put both him and Ultraman at equal speed but Ultraman is way way faster, having once flew a nuke into space with ten seconds before anyone knew he is gone and Ultra warriors have consistently been shown to be able to fly at light speed when traveling through space.

Toomi: And to top it off, durability is not on Gamera's side. While his shell protects him from physical harm, Gamera has almost died from a nuclear level explosion whereas similar level attacks barely harmed both Godzilla and Gamera.

Megumi: Poor Gamera though.

Toomi: But between Godzilla and Ultraman, this is where things get tricky.

Sachi: Both giants have a long history of winning fights against any opponents, even beating Kaijus larger and more powerful than they are though their methods of winning are different.

Megumi: Godzilla mostly takes his opponents head on, preferring to take down his opponents with raw power and brute force, while Ultraman though fights similarly, also incorporates strategy and martial arts into his fighting style.

Sachi: Which while Godzilla takes this through strength as he is physically stronger than Ultraman due to his capability to push back the claws of Magita that is several times larger than him, he unfortunately lost in the experience category

Toomi: Ultra Warriors have existed in the Land of Light since before Earth's shared history, and by the time the original Ultraman show takes place, Ultraman is already a certified warrior, implying that he has been fighting monsters way longer than Godzilla ever have

Megumi: And since most of Ultraman's monsters are similar to the ones Godzilla has faced, most of Godzilla's attacks are actually not that hard for Ultraman to counter. Godzilla's Atomic Breath, nothing an Ultra Shield wouldn't block especially since Ultraman and Ultraseven used that technique to protect themselves when the disappearance of the plasma spark froze the entire Land of Light over.

Sachi: Though Super Godzilla is one challenging opponent, having tanked attacks from Bagan and Mecha King Ghidorah, Ultraman's usual techniques are rendered completely useless

Megumi: That is until Super Fighter is brought up.

Toomi: While Bagan's true power isn't known, he is considered to be way stronger than Heisei Godzilla who's Burning Form is capable of potentially destroying the entire planet Earth, but according to the anime Ultraman Super Fighter Legend, Super Fighter is a legendary being capable of shattering planets with a punch, and Ultraman can be scaled to him just by gaining the title at the end of the series.

Megumi: And also the Super Saiyan like Form he gained from fighting Tsuiphon, a monster that was seen as a threat by everyone in the universe.

Sachi: And we are not even including Shin Ultraman who bested Zetton who is a super weapon designed to destroy the entire solar system, something far beyond every version of Godzilla's pay grade

Megumi: But Toomi, you've shrunken Godzilla! A much bigger Godzilla would easily beat Ultraman.

Toomi: Unfortunately, increasing Godzilla's size wouldn't change the results especially since Ultraman has defeated Giga-Khimairia, a monster that stood 512 meters, a monster much bigger than the largest Godzilla, Godzilla Earth which stood at 300 foot tall

Megumi: And now you may think Burning Godzilla's Thermal Nuclear o Pulse would be an instant win for him since it was capable of vapouring King Ghidorah.

Sachi: Which we can agree that it can completely destroy Ultraman, except for one factor.

Toomi: Ultra beings are born with Ultra Armor which makes them resistant to fire, lasers, electricity, their own attacks and mostly, radiation. So even in his base form, the Thermal Nuclear Pulse would barely hurt Ultraman.

Megumi: But since he was in his Super Form which displayed invulnerability even against Tsuiphon, which means all Ultraman needs to do is just find an opening and finish off Godzilla with one powerful attack.

Toomi: This is definitely one difficult match for Ultraman as Godzilla is no doubt the strongest opponent he has ever faced, but against all odds, Ultraman's superior skills, durability, speed, strategy and power is what gives him the victory.

Megumi: This is one Ultra fight that leaves us Burning in anticipation with an ending that left us Shellshocked

Sachi: The winner is Ultraman

Ultraman: SHUWATCH!!!

* All three are capable of firing energy as their signature attacks, Atomic Breath for Godzilla, Specium Beam for Ultraman and Fire Breath made of Plasma for Gamera which are deadly enough to destroy humanity but the three chose to use their powers to defend not just Earth but the universe against any potential threats

* Surprisingly, all three combatants are ancient beings that have lived before humanity with Godzilla being a surviving Dinosaur living underwater for millions of years presumably after the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event, Ultraman being a being of Light that have lived for eons before the dawn of humanity and Gamera being a gigantic prehistoric tortoise frozen in ice

* Both Godzilla and Gamera are ancient prehistoric reptiles that gets their powers and awaken from nuclear bombs, the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the Lucky Dragon 5 incident for Godzilla, while Gamera was awakened by an Atomic Bomb's detonating explosion from an aircraft belonging to the soviet union while they were dogfighting with the US

* Coincidently, both Godzilla and Ultraman are created by Eiji Tsuburaya who has birthed the concept of Tokusatsu

* Interestingly, all three combatants have utilised each other's creation to inspire the creation of characters in their own series with Jet Jaguar from the Godzilla series being based off Ultraman, Gomess, Astron and Jirass being portrayed through altered Godzilla suits and kaijus like Red King and Bemular's roars being made by Godzilla's roar and Gamera being created based off Godzilla and served to rival Toho's Godzilla's Franchise and the end of his name having a similar suffix shared by such other kaiju characters as Godzilla (Gojira) and Mothra (Mosura).

* Interestingly, Godzilla and Gamera toys were seen in an episode of Ultraman Max

* There even was a fan made game created by Aaron and Corwin Sands called Godzilla Ultraman Gamera or GUG for short where the three Kaijus along with other Kaijus from their series, including King Kong and Gypsy Danger fight against a Kaiju threat led by King Ghidorah, Ultraman Belial and Legion

* This is the third time a Toho character fights a Tsuburaya character, the first being Pollution Kaiju Battle Royale and Ultimate Force Zero vs Space Kaijus

* This is the third time a Toho character fights a Daiei character, the first being Legion vs Destoroyah and Gamera vs Mothra

* This is the third time a Tsuburaya character wins a What if Battle, the first being Ultimate Force Zero vs Space Kaijus and Strelizia vs Ultraman Nexus

* This is the second time a Daiei character loses a What if Battle, the first being Legion vs Destoroyah

* This is the eighth time a Toho character loses a What if Battle, the first being Heisei Kaiju Battle Royale, Reimu Hakurei vs Godzilla, Burning Godzilla vs Super Godzilla, Shin Godzilla vs Legendary Godzilla, Pollutant Kaiju Battle Royale, Ultimate Force Zero vs Space Kaijus and Gamera vs Mothra

* Coincidently, Godzilla and Gamera are returning characters with Godzilla having previously fought Reimu Hakurei though he lost the fight. His Burning Form and Super Form having fought in Burning Godzilla vs Super Godzilla with Burning Godzilla losing to Super Godzilla while his Shin incarnation fought his Monsterverse incarnation in Shin Godzilla vs Legendary Godzilla with Shin Godzilla losing to Legendary Godzilla. Gamera having fought Mothra and emerging the victor of the fight

* At the end of Godzilla's analysis, Megumi finishes it off by making a reference to the song "Indestructible" by Disturbed

* During Ultraman's analysis, Megumi mistaking Jirahs for Godzilla is a reference to how the Kaiju is create by putting frills on a Showa Godzilla suit, and Sachi admitting that Megumi is not wrong for guessing Tsuburaya to have run out of budget is due to how the company at that time was low on budget to create a new kaiju, so they were forced to ask Toho to lend them a suit to which they created Jirahs

* Ultraman even admits that Godzilla resembles a few of the monsters in his series

* During the fight, the way how Ultraman held onto Gamera just as Godzilla performed his tail slide jump kick is a reference to the scene in Godzilla vs Megalon where Godzilla defeated Megalon by performing his jump kick

* The way how Ultraman created his Ultra Shield to protect himself from Gamera's attack is a reference to how he and Ultraseven protected themselves when the Land of Light freezes over

* During the fight, the way how Godzilla finishes off Gamera is based off the way how he killed Keizer Ghidorah in Godzilla Final Wars

* The way how Godzilla perform his Thermal Nuclear Pulse in his attempt to defeat Ultraman is based off how he finished off King Ghidorah in the film Godzilla King of the Monsters

* At the end of the fight, Ultraman performed his iconic victory pose where he takes off into the air and fly into the sun at the end of the battle
