Lion King vs Jungle Book, two big cats from well known stories which made it into Disney films goes out in the battle of the Lion King and the Tiger King

<Cue: Invader Theme>

Toomi: Lions and Tigers, two terrifying big cats have often times been pit against each other but have never met each other in combat

Megumi: But today, we will be seeing two of Disney's big cats fight it out!

Toomi: Like Simba, the King of the Pridelands,

Megumi: And Shere Kahn, the chief among tigers, she's Sachi-san, Toomi-san and I'm Megumi-san

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Simba roars into What if Battles

<Cue: One of Us by Abba>

<Megumi began singing the intro of Circle of Life>

Megumi: Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba(Sithi uhm ingonyama) yeah, ingonyama!

Toomi: Really Megumi?

Megumi: Hey! That's how the movie went didn't it?

Toomi: Anyway, born to the King Mufasa and the Queen Sarabi, Simba was destined to be the next king of the Pridelands.

Sachi: And like many princes, Simba basically wants to be king so that he could as how he says, do anything he wants.

Simba: Oh I just can't wait to be king!

Toomi: But all that changed when Simba took his uncle Scar's words and went to the Elephant Graveyard with Nala, endangering both himself and Nala when the Hyenas attacked.

Megumi: But luckily for the two of them, Mufasa arrived on time and saved them.

Sachi: As it turns out, Scar was actually next in line to be king, but when Mufasa's son is born, it basically hindered Scar's chance to succeed over Mufasa.

Megumi: So what is Scar's idea to get the throne? Why kill his brother and guilt trip his own nephew while sending a pack of hyenas to finish him off.

Toomi: Luckily, Simba managed to escape though he wandered far from the Pridelands before collapsing from fatigue, hunger and thirst, lying there for the vultures.

Sachi: That is until an unusual pair saved him.

Megumi: So for quite a few years, Timon and Pumba basically raised him, teaching him to forget the past with the phrase I so like very much, 'Hakuna Matata'

Toomi: Pretty soon, Simba grew up into a fine lion, forgetting nearly everything that had happened to him in the past until Nala came back, telling him about what Scar and the hyenas did to the Pridelands.

Sachi: After Rafiki convinced him and allowed him to talk to Mufasa's spirit, Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumba then races back to the Pridelands to challenge Scar.

Megumi: And after an epic battle, Simba took down Scar, only for Scar to get his just desserts by dying at the hands of the hyenas he betrayed. That's what you get for talking shit to those who helped you get where you are.

Toomi: After reclaiming the Pridelands, Simba and Nala eventually had a daughter called Kiara who befriended a rogue lion called Kovu.

Megumi: But since Kovu is the son of Zira, a lioness loyal to Scar, it basically became big cat Romeo and Juliet though Simba learned to accept Kovu into the Pride.

Sachi: Until the Outlanders ambushed Simba, fatally wounding him in the process. 

Toomi: Thinking that Kovu is responsible for the attack, Simba banished Kovu from the Pridelands and began leading his lionesses into war against Zira.

Megumi: But all that bloodshed faded away when Kiara and Kovu returned, stopping the war and ending Zira's hold over the Outlanders. So with both sides reunited, Simba then roars alongside his wife, daughter and son in law.

Toomi: Being an African lion, Simba processes catlike reflexes along with animal-level strength, being capable of taking down animals like Antelopes, Zebras or even buffalos.

Sachi: Simba is also an expert strategist, being able to plan ways to get out of certain situation.

Megumi: And one of them involves using his own best friends as bait.

Timon: What do you want me to do? Dress in drag and do the hula?

<Hula music began playing just as Timon, now dressed in drag began dancing>

Timon: Luau! If you're hungry for a hunk of fat juicy meat. Eat my buddy Pumbaa here cause he's a treat! Come on down, on this tasty swine, all you have to do is get in line. Arrrrrrre ya achin'?!? 

Pumbaa: Yup yup yup!

Timon: For some bacon?

Pumbaa: Yup yup yup

Timon: He's a big pig

Pumbaa: Yup yup yup

Timon: You can be a big pig too! Oy!

Megumi: Well, at least it works.

Sachi: And being a lion, Simba also possesses a pretty strong bite. Now assuming that Simba possesses the same amount of strength as an ordinary lion, we can calculate that his bite is 650 psi, which is  650 pounds per square inch.

Megumi: Simba is also pretty strong, being able to beat down a huge number of hyenas even without the help from the lionesses. Oh and he can even take down a fully grown lioness as well.

Toomi: Simba also possesses peak level endurance, once able to run from the valley through the African desert all the way back to the Pridelands with no rest.

Sachi: Simba is also able to take down his uncle Scar in battle as well.

Toomi: While Simba is indeed a really strong lion, he wasn't far with his flaws. As a cub, Simba is rather naive and reckless, getting easily manipulated by Scar and even jeopardizing both Nala and his own life dealing with hyenas.

Megumi: And it's kind of ironic how he eventually grew up becoming a rather overprotective father who even sends his own best friends just to spy on his daughter.

Sachi: And he was even overwhelmed by a large number of lionesses

Basically almost costing both his and Nala's life from an ill-prepared encounter with hyenas

Shere Kahn growls in What if Battles

Toomi: The Indian forest sure is a place of wonders, whether you will meet black panthers, sloth bears, elephants...

Megumi: Or even a jazzy Orangutan!

King Louie: I wanna be like you.

Sachi: But no animal is even more terrifying than the tiger, Shere Kahn.

Shere Kahn: His parents are dead. I killed them. There is no one to come looking for him.

Toomi: If we are going to do the story base off the original tale, Shere Kahn is also known as Langri, also known as the Lame One.

Megumi: Ha! Why lame? Does he tell lame jokes?

Toomi: There is a reason for that. Shere Khan is born with a handicap leg. And because of that, he was not able to hunt any fast moving prey like deers or rabbits

Sachi: So as a result, he broke the law of the Jungle by hunting humans and cattle, killing a man and his wife and orphaning a young boy who would later be named Mowgli.

Megumi: But thanks to a Black Panther named Bagheera, Mowgli was raised by a pack of wolves for most of his childhood until Bagheera and Baloo decided to bring him to the Man village.

Toomi: However, Shere Khan is determined to hunt down Mowgli so after finding him, Shere Khan attacked, fighting through Baloo, Bagheera and Mowgli's wolf family just to get him.

Megumi: And luckily for the jungle, Mowgli defeated him two times, one by tying a flaming branch on his tail and the second trapping him in a rock prison below a lava pit.

Toomi: Being a bengal tiger, Shere Khan possesses great strength, animal-like reflexes and great speed, enabling him to hunt down prey ranging from cattle, Asian Black Bears, rabbits and deers.

Megumi: And like any other tigers, he possesses these sharp claws and even canines capable of delivering some pretty harsh punishment.

Sachi: Assuming that Shere Khan has the same biteforce as that of an ordinary tiger, we have measured that a fully grown male bengal tiger can bite at the force of 1125 psi, which is 1125 pounds per square inch.

Toomi: Shere Khan's strength doesn't just allow him to hunt, he is capable of taking on a pack of wolves, and injuring Bagheera in a cat fight.

Sachi: But Shere Khan's greatest achievement is taking on Baloo, who is a male adult Sloth Bear ranging from 80 to 145 kg in weight.

King Louie, an orangutan who could hold a ceiling made out of rock, was afraid of him

Pulled at and outright manhandled Kaa with little to no effort

Easily overpowered Baloo, a really big and fat Indian sloth bear

Sachi: Not only that but Shere Khan is even strong enough to throw Akela over a cliff and even King Louie, an orangutan strong enough to hold up his entire temple is even afraid of him.

Megumi: Man, now I see why Shere Khan is feared by everyone.

Toomi: However fearsome Shere Khan may be, he isn't fearless. Due to his history with man, Shere Khan is terrified of convectional weapons like guns and fire.

Sachi: Not to mention, he has lost against Mowgli in many encounters, most of them due to outside factors

Overconfident, and can attack recklessly

Fears man's gun and man's fire

Same biological weaknesses as any animal

Got bested and humiliated trying to kill Mowgli in two movies

Considers himself above killing a defenseless target

Probably has low stamina like his real life counterparts

Megumi: But if there is any advice for you, is that once Shere Khan sets his sights on man, he will not hesitate to kill you

Shere Khan: You cannot be leader forever! The day you missed your kill, the man cub's blood to run down my chin!

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Abandoned Temple 

<Cue: Free Trap Beat by Frame Beatz>

In the dense abandoned temple, the chirping of the cicada fills the air as the tranquility of the afternoon brushes along the infrastructure.

However, the peaceful atmosphere was interrupted by a tuff of golden fur brushing along the concrete blocks.

Across the golden fur creature, another creature stalks the halls, long black stripes streaking from it's body.

Then stepping out of the shadows, a lion with brown golden fur along with reddish blond mane steps forward, facing his opponent.

He is Simba, the King of the Pridelands.

Simba faces the creature opposing him, his eyes narrows as he growls.

Simba: Who are you? You don't belong in the Pridelands.

The tiger looks at him and he introduces himself.

Shere Khan: Well, greetings. I am Shere Khan and this place is my territory.

Simba glances to the side, staring at a pile of rotting bones lying across the stone floor.

Simba: Is this what you have been doing? Hunting and killing?!

Simba growls angrily, causing Shere Khan to scoff out.

Shere Khan: Touche. It's not like you don't eat other animals as well.

Simba: RROOOOAAARRRR!!!

Simba lets out a loud roar and he growls a warning at Shere Khan.

Simba: Last warning, run away or die.

Shere Khan bares his teeth and he snarls.

Shere Khan: Your blood shall drizzle down my chin!

Announcer: Fight!

Both big cats lunges forward before jumping up, pouncing right into each other.

As the two wrestles each other against the floor, Simba swipes his paw, striking Shere Khan across the cheek.

WHAM!!!

Shere Khan: GRRROOWWWLLL!!!

Shere Khan growls out and he swipes his claw across, striking into Simba.

WHAM!!!

Both cats clashes against each other with Shere Khan sinking his teeth right into Simba's back.

CHOMP!!!

Simba: RRAOOOORRR!!!

Shere Khan swings his head across, throwing Simba across the floor.

As Simba pushes himself up, Shere Khan pounces right into Simba.

Simba rears his head back biting down onto Shere Khan's neck, causing the tiger to let out a loud roar of agony.

Shere Khan: GGRRRROOOWWWLLL!!!

Just as Shere Khan turns his neck back to attack, Simba jumps to the side, narrowingly dodging an attack from Shere Khan.

The lion jumps up onto a pile of rocks, looking back just as Shere Khan shouts.

Shere Khan: Come back here! I'm not done with you yet!

Shere Khan lunges upwards, scaling after Simba.

Simba swipes his paw across a pile of boulders, sending them tumbling down onto Shere Khan.

RUMBLE!!!

The boulders slam Shere Khan square in the body, sending the tiger crashing backfirst onto the ground.

CRASH!!!

Simba: RRROOOOOAAARRRR!!!

Simba lets out a loud roar and he pounces onto Shere Khan, clamping his teeth down onto his flesh.

CHOMP!!!

Shere Khan rears his head back, swiping his claw across Simba's face.

As Simba drops onto the floor, Shere Khan jumps up over the lion, sinking his teeth into his mane.

CHOMP!!!

Simba: RROOOOAAARRR!!!

However, as Shere Khan is busy biting into Simba, the lion rears up his leg before pushing it up, striking Shere Khan right in the gut.

WHAM!!!

Shere Khan: ARRGHHHHH!!!

Shere Khan grunts out as the impact of the blow sends him flying up into the air before crashing backfirst into the ground.

THUMP!!!

Simba watches as Shere Khan rolls across the floor, halting right next to a rather large drop, exposing a rather crimson and boiling hot pool of lava.

As Shere Khan pushes himself up, Simba drops in front of the tiger, narrowing his eyes at him.

Shere Khan bares his teeth, moving across Simba in a clockwise direction.

The two cats circles around each other, neither of them making a move.

And right at that moment...

Simba: ROOOAAARRR!!!

Shere Khan: GROOOWWWLLLL!!!

Both Simba and Shere Khan lets out a loud roar as the two rears their bodies upwards, their paws exchanging blows amongst themselves.

Shere Khan's paw strikes Simba across the cheek.

WHAM!!!

At the same time, Simba's paw strikes Shere Khan across the cheek.

WHAM!!!

Simba lunges forward, biting down onto Shere Khan.

CHOMP!!!

However, right at that moment, Shere Khan rolls his body backwards, crushing Simba underneath his own body weight.

CRACK!!!

Simba: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Shere Khan: It's over! GROOOWWWLLLL!!!

Shere Khan's loud roar echoes across the temple as the tiger lunges forward, his claws slicing relentlessly across Simba's body.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Just as Simba tumbles backwards Shere Khan narrows his eyes and he sprints forward, ramming headfirst into Simba.

WHAM!!!

Simba: ARGHHHHH!!!

Simba lets out a loud scream as he desperately clamps his claws onto the edge, holding himself up from falling into the boiling lava pit.

As Simba struggles to push himself up, he screams out.

Simba: No! Impossible! 

Shere Khan shifts his head downwards and he whispers into Simba's ears.

Shere Khan: Long live the King.

Shere Khan then swipes his claw across Simba's eye, the sheer agony of the blade causes his grip to loosen, sending Simba tumbling downwards.

Simba: AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

Simba screams out in anguish as his body falls into the lava pit with a loud splash.

SPLASH!!!

Shere Khan looks down, his eyes watching scornfully at the burning remains of Simba.

With his opponent gone, Shere Khan turns his back to return to his meal just as the last remains of what used to be Simba dissolves into the lava.

KO!

Megumi: Now we've officially settled the whole lion vs tiger debate.

Toomi: Simba may have held the advantage in tactics and speed but Shere Khan's strength and size far outclassed Simba.

Megumi: I mean sure, Simba beating hyenas and lionesses are pretty cool but don't forget that Shere Khan has defeated the likes of bears and panthers, animals a lot larger than lions and hyenas.

Sachi: And not to mention, while Simba is a tough fighter, his morals sometimes does hold him back whereas Shere Khan has no problem killing and fighting dirty. I mean heck, Shere Khan was more than willing to kill a young boy

Toomi: But the biggest game changer in our research is our calculation of their bite force. As mentioned earlier, the bite force of a lion like Simba is 610 pounds.

Sachi: And as for tigers like Shere Khan, we have measured the bite force to be equivalent to be 1125 pounds.

Megumi: Holy crap! Not even close.

Toomi: Not only that but Shere Khan is a bengal tiger which if you ask, makes him the largest big cat in the entire big cat family. So having a more superior size, strength and bite force, this is what gave Shere Khan the win over Simba

Megumi: So can anyone beat Simba? We Shere Khan!

Sachi: The winner is Shere Khan
