Toomi: Fear, is a feeling that we all feel when we get scared.

Megumi: And some monsters just enjoy feeding on it.

Toomi: Such as Freddy Krueger, the Dream Demon from hell,

Megumi: And Pennywise, the Dancing Clown, she's Sachi-san, Toomi-san and I'm Megumi-san

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Toomi: He stalks you in the night. He'll catch you in your sleep. If you live on Elm Street, there is no escape from one of the most deadly killers in the world, Freddy Krueger.

Freddy: Welcome to my nightmare

Megumi: But before he was a murderous psychopath with a face that vaguely resembles pizza, Frederick Charles Krueger was a young child living in a mental institution

Sachi:  Sure enough, a group of madmen caught Freddy's mother, and then brutally raped her and left her for dead.

Megumi: Oh well, at least that meant that he got to move somewhere else and get a new home

Toomi: But it was just poor household after poor household as Freddy was then adopted by a drunk, abusive father. With his experience at the mental institute, as well as his adoptive father's abusive methods, Freddy soon delved into darkness. And it wasn't until witnessing a young boy smash his head against the ground where he realized that he enjoyed nothing more than watching helpless victims feel horrible pain, and be able to do nothing about it.

Sachi: And so began Freddy's ruthless streak as many children were reported as missing on Elm Street

Megumi: But of course it didn't take people long to figure out he was responsible for all of that so an angry mob marched to his house, beat him up, burned him and left him for the dead

Toomi: However, that was hardly the end of Freddy Krueger. As a matter of fact, this was only the beginning. As Freddy lay dying, a group of dream demons approached him and gave him a second chance at life, resurrecting him as a dream demon himself and effectively making him immortal.

Megumi: So as a result, Freddy Krueger began invading the dreams of people, scaring them before killing them in their sleep

Megumi: Holy shit, not sure if I'm gonna sleep tonight after this

Toomi: As a dream demon, Freddy's attacks almost always take place within a victim's nightmare.

Megumi: You know how dreams sometimes feel really, really real? Like when you're dreaming about kissing that really hot girl you saw at the bar and then when you wake up it turns out you're just kissing a dog or something? Well... in Freddy nightmares, it feels even more real.

Sachi: Which in turn makes the dream even more horrifying, as Freddy can essentially do whatever he likes when he's in the dream realm, limited only to his witty imagination. Because dreams take place within a person's mind, and as such are a reflection of their innermost thoughts, Freddy can take control of that and exploit his victims' worst fears, or their desires. For example, one of his victims was a girl afraid of bugs. So he turned her into a cockroach and promptly stepped on her.

Toomi: Inside the dream realm, Freddy has it all. He can use telekinesis, possession, shapeshifting... like that one time he turned into a snake... i-it's best not to question it He can even create fire wherever he likes through a manner of pyrokinesis.

Megumi: He can also teleport, read minds, and basically do whatever the hell he likes with the environment, twisting it to his own desires to find more clever ways of killing off his opponents.

Toomi: Even outside of the Dream Realm, Freddy is no pushover. His strength and durability far exceeds that of a regular human's, being able to fall from a high distance and through several boards of wood without any lasting wounds

Sachi: All this contributes to his nasty reputation as one of the world's most feared killers there is. He's killed countless helpless victims, including an impressive 45 on-screen kills.

Megumi: Nowhere near as impressive as our last combatant but still impressive in a way

Sachi: And speaking of Jason Voorhees, Freddy fought against him, putting up not only a decent fight but was even able to beat him several times

Feats

In life, was a notorious child murderer who took 20 lives

Through luck, escaped a prison sentence

Upon his death, was given the opportunity to become a Dream Demon

Later came back to kill the children of the parents who killed him

Over the course of several movies, took the lives of more people

Over the course of several movies, has made several almost successful attempts at returning to the living world

Was responsible for one of Jason Voorhees' revivals

Fought Jason Voorhees to a draw

Sorta as his severed head is winking to the audience

Fought both Jason Voorhees and Ash Williams

Briefly became a god in the Real World with the use of the Necronomicon

Killed Shao Khan in reality (Non-Canon)

Briefly had his own holiday in Los Angeles

Toomi: But while Freddy is an incredible killer, he's definitely not perfect. He's definitely not the best fighter, because he prefers to torture his opponents and toy with them, sometimes giving them exactly the opening they need to take victory

Sachi: And while escaping from the Dream World requires that the victim both knows it's a dream and isn't scared of Freddy, it's still very much possible to do.

Megumi: And ironically, Freddy is weak against fire which ironically, is one of his abilities.

Weakness

Despite his power in the Dream World still seems to feel pain

Granted it doesn't usually effect him in the long run

Can be dragged into the real world

Requires his foe knows they're in a dream

Requires that they don't fear him

Also requires that they get a hold of him

His foes can be brought back into the real world via outside sources

Such as being burned by a fire while they're asleep

This won't bring Freddy out unless they have a hold on him

His victims can still fight back if they have enough ability and willpower

Has a nasty habit of toying with his foes minds before killing them

To be fair a good amount of his victims usually can't do shit to stop him

Is still cocky because of this

Has a vulnerability to holy objects

Even if he is possessing someone, they can still be gotten through to

This will also result in another death

If he is shown a mirror, it will cause the souls in his body to tear him apart and kill him

If he is not remembered or feared by many, he will be unable to revive from death

This also greatly weakens his Dream World powers

The Necronomicon can find him unworthy and take away his powers

And this includes the powers he had without the Necronomicon

Toomi: Originally from the Macroverse, "It" crashed-landed on Earth and burrowed under the land that would become Derry, Maine.

Sachi: As if the creature expected the event to occur, Derry was settled in the 1700s.

Megumi: And so, IT took the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown and awakes every 27 years to feed, cause for some strange reasons, nobody ever suspects a strange looking clown sauntering into a town

Toomi: And right after eating the boy Georgie, his older brother Bill alongside several other kids, Beverly, Ben, Ritchie, Eddie, Stan and Mike teamed up and they defeat the monster.

Sachi: In it's natural form, It is a mass of swirling lights known as Deadlights which can render whoever gazes upon them catatonic, insane, or instantly dead. Its power is so great that it can create convincing illusions, cause hurricanes with ease, and influence Derry's history from behind the shadows.

Megumi: It is also a shapeshifter, normally assuming the form of a clown named Pennywise with traces of Its' true nature revealed in the clown's subsonic speed and superhuman strength, along with bearing his razor-sharped fangs when about to eat.

Toomi: Pennywise's usual method of killing is by peering into the mind of his prey and assume the form of what they fear the most, preferring to sweetened the meat with absolute terror.

Megumi: Which really works considering how he is able to do it for hundred of years

Sachi: And as the Deadlights, IT can either kill it's victims or drive them insane before pulling them to be consumed, showing them it's true might and glory

Megumi: So IT is kinda like a God?

Killed numerous people for over centuries, literally getting away with murder.

Arrived on Earth in such a cataclysmic meteor impact, it nearly destroyed the planet.

Created a hurricane that almost wrecked all of Derry.

Caused Stan to commit suicide

Deadlights are potent enough to almost kill Beverly and Eddie

Regenerated from blades struck on his body

Took a beating from the Loser's Club

Toomi: No. Though powerful and seemingly Godly, IT is not without weakness. IT is bound by the reality that IT inhabits, and while IT may manipulate those rules, IT must follow the laws of the universe IT is in.

Megumi: IT is also physically sensitive, meaning that the power of friendship can triumph over IT.

Loser Club: You're just a fucking clown!

Toomi: Well, that's actually due to the Ritual of Chüd. A special mental battle that can be engaged with IT.

Weakness

Extremely arrogant and underestimates humans.

Blew off many opportunities to kill the Losers Club, before and after they became a threat to it.

Though immortal and able to regenerate from a shot to the head, It is bound by universal law to have the weaknesses of whatever form the creature assumes.

Feeds on fear, without it, IT can be weakened

Toomi: Powerful positive feelings seem to damage IT. Not only that, but whatever IT morphs into has to obey the laws of that object, this also has the drawback of sharing the weaknesses of the form.

Sachi: And while IT has incredible regeneration abilities, IT can be physically harmed, and possibly even be killed.

Megumi: This is one clown that you better be scared of, or else...

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

Fight

Derry 

In the cold nights of Derry, a small young boy dashes across the street, chasing a car driving down the streets.

Just then, the boy heard a voice calling out to him.

???: Pssst. Hey, down there.

Curious, the boy halts in his place, ignoring the moving toy car before directing his attentions towards a nearby gutter.

The boy steps towards it, kneeling down right as the white painted face of a clown rose from the bottom, smiling at him.

Pennywise: Why hello there little boy. Are you lost?

The boy didn't answer, prompting Pennywise to say.

Pennywise: Would you want a balloon?

Pennywise grins at the boy, holding up a small balloon before passing it to him.

However, right at that moment...

POP!

Right as the balloon exploded, Pennywise jumps back, his eyes widens in disbelief as the boy raises up his hand, a long bladed clawed glove shifting as the boy says.

Freddy: Why so serious?

Pennywise narrows his eyes, growling just as the boy tosses aside the yellow raincoat, revealing himself to be Freddy Krueger.

Pennywise: You....I will eat you!

Pennywise lunges out of the sewers, launching himself right at Freddy.

Announcer: Fight!

Freddy shifts his body back, dodging swings from Pennywise's blades.

Pennywise: Ah come on Freddy boy, come and dance with Pennywise.

Freddy: 1,2 hell no.

SHOK!!!

Freddy shoves his bladed glove into Pennywise's body before throwing the monster into a nearby car.

CRASH!!!

SHLURP!!!

Freddy watches in shock as Pennywise's body twists and turns, transforming that into a werewolf.

Pennywise: RRROOOWWWLLLL!!!

Pennywise lunges forward, pouncing right into Freddy, biting into the dream demon.

CHOMP!!!

Freddy: ARGHHHH!!!

Pennywise then morphs his head back into his clown form before throwing Freddy through a manhole.

CLANK!!!

As Freddy pummels down into the sewers, Pennywise chants out.

Pennywise: Beep Beep, Freddy. Mwa ha ha ha ha!

Pennywise cackles out in malicious delight, jumping down into the sewers below.

In the wide chamber of IT's lair, Freddy pummels from the manhole, splashing backfirst into the murky waters.

As Freddy pushes himself out of the water, at that moment, several red balloons rose from the waters, surrounding Freddy completely.

Freddy: Hm? What game is this?

Pennywise: Oh ho ho ho! You think this is a game Freddy boy?

Freddy smirks as he swings his claw across, sending all the balloons popping.

POP!!! POP!!! POP!!!

As Freddy pops the last of the balloons, Pennywise steps out the water, but this time, he looks different.

Pennywise looms over the Dream Demon, his body now into that of a large insectoid creature with long spider-like aspandages.

Pennywise: I will feed on your fear!

Freddy thrusts out his hand, throwing a burst of fire right at Pennywise.

FWOOSH!!!

Pennywise: REARGHHHH!!!

Pennywise lets out a roar of agony, backing away just as Freddy cackles out.

Freddy: Ah heh heh heh! I'm not afraid of you monster.

Pennywise: They always say that.

Pennywise lunges forward, thrusting his claws at Freddy just as the Dream Demon swings his bladed claw across, parrying the monster's aspandages.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Freddy cuts right through Pennywise's claw before thrusting his hand across, throwing another bladed glove right into the clown's head.

SHOK!!!

Pennywise: EEEHHHHHHH!!!

A loud shrill scream escapes from Pennywise's mouth, causing the entire sewer to shake.

Freddy: Uh oh.

At that moment, a large skeletal hand rose from the water, the bony fingers wrapping themselves around Freddy's body.

GRIP!!!

Freddy: GAAAHHHH!!!

As Freddy struggles, Pennywise looms his head close to the Dream Demon, saying to him.

Pennywise: You fight good, but you'll float too.

SLURCH!!!

Pennywise's upper jaw slowly shifts itself up, exposing a large gaping hole riddled with teeth as three spheres of light rose from his throat.

Upon laying eyes on the lights, Freddy simply stares at it, a smile twisting from his scarred face.

Freddy: Just kidding.

Freddy swings his hand out, freeing it from Pennywise's grip before putting it out to Pennywise.

With a flick of his hand, Freddy throws a green sphere of energy at Pennywise before placing a finger on his mouth, shushing the creature.

Freddy: Shhhh.

BOOM!!!

As the energy struck onto Pennywise, the monster felt his eyes closing before he collapses onto the floor, completely unconscious.

Freddy: Heh heh heh heh!

Freddy cackles out in sheer malicious delight.

Dreamworld

Inside the dreamworld, Pennywise looks left and right, his eyes shifts in confusion.

Pennywise: Where am I? What is this?

At first, nothing happened. Then right at that exact moment...

???: Clown!

Pennywise: Huh?

Pennywise looks back, only to find himself staring at nothing.

Right then, Pennywise heard another voice chanting.

Voice: Clown! Clown! Clown!

As the chanting continues to grow, Pennywise finds himself moving back and forth, growling in intimidation as he shakes his head, insisting.

Pennywise: No. I am the eater of worlds!

Freddy: No.

Right at that moment, everything around Pennywise began setting ablaze, burning in a blazing inferno.

FWOOSH!!!

Pennywise: NNNOOOO!!! I am the eater of worlds!

Freddy: You're in my world now!

Pennywise looks up, his eyes widens in sheer terror just as Freddy looms over him, now gigantic in size.

Freddy: Welcome to my nightmare bitch!

Pennywise: AAAHHHHH!!!

Pennywise screams out in terror, backing away in fright just as a large furnace rose from behind, it's door sliding open.

Freddy sneers as he raise his hand up, waving at Pennywise just as the monster steps into the furnace.

Right when Pennywise figured out what he had done, the door of the furnace suddenly slams itself shut, locking Pennywise inside.

CLANK!!!

Freddy Krueger's body slowly shrinks down just as the furnace lits up in a burst of flames.

FWOOSH!!!

Freddy Krueger turns around, cackling out to himself as Pennywise's agonizing screams echoes across the Dreamworld.

Pennywise: YYAAAAHHHHH!!!

Megumi: Holy hell. Freddy has just saved Derry from another 27 years to death streak.

Toomi: ITs ability to make people in Derry forget about Freddy, would have been enough to defeat Freddy for good. But the biggest factor was a flaw with IT. IT constantly underestimates ITs opponents, and prefers to play with ITs food before killing them.

Sachi: Not only that but though IT is powerful, it is restricted to the laws of physics to whatever form it takes so by taking the form of a clown, it only has the same level of strength, speed and durability of a clown.

Megumi: And those limits don't really apply to Freddy considering how he can even take on the likes of Jason in the real world.

Toomi: IT does have another advantage. By being able to know Freddy's limits as a human, all he needs to do is to pull him close and unleash the Deadlights to claim the victory

Megumi: Which would be possible if it wasn't for the fact that the Deadlights are soul energy. And Freddy eats souls.

Toomi: And by consuming it and making IT sleep, all Freddy needs to do is pull IT into the dreamworld where he can finish him off

Megumi: Looks like this clown had his last laugh

Sachi: The winner is Freddy Kreuger

Freddy: Now I'm playing with power!
