Balloons floated freely into the white abyss as Error released them.
They properly got intangible in the strings above the home.
Surprisingly it looked rather cute.
He smiled at his work and heaved him self up from the spot he was sitting.
He stumbled a bit, still getting use the heaviness of his large swollen belly.
Yup. He was pregnant again.
Error frowned though.
Undyn told him the child would come any day now.
He would be fine with that... if it wasn't so close to Colors birthday...
Speaking of Colors birthday. It was actually today!
Usually for his birthday Error would take him to an Au of his choice, walk around, shop.
Then watch a movie after.
But this year was special.
It was Colors tenth birthday.
He was finally in the double digits.
So they decided to do something more traditional.
Error smiled and walked back into the house.
Four guest had already arrived earlier.
Berry, Dream, and there daughter Memory with Sci, Lust and Atom.
The girls chased Color around the house excitedly.
Atom had grown up a bit.
Not as much of a cry-baby now.
Her large glasses and tiny lab coat did make her look like a nerd though.
Memory was a tiny thing, born two months premature.
It stunted her growth a bit but she never let her size bring her down. Her emerald eyes alway blazing with strength and determination.
Color had grown over the years as well.
Instead of a small stumbling tot he was almost tall enough his skull could touch Errors elbow.
Error was more then proud.
He walked past the kiddos and into the kitchen.
Berry was preping the cake.
"Error! Just when I need you. I can't decide on a Color."
He giggled at his own pun.
Error sighed, walked over and helped.
In the living room, Color ran behind the couch, panting heavily.
Memory got rather tired, so she dropped out to have a snack.
But Atom was still going.
He could hear Atoms laughter as she ran past.
Color let out a sigh of relief, quickly slipping from the other side, wanting some alone time.
But soon Atom found his hiding spot and chased his around once more.
He weaved around chairs and legs to escape her but this girl was hot on his trail.
Then he tripped, but beforehand could've up Atom tackled him down again.
Color was finally sick of it.
"Momma! Make her stop!"
His voice was almost desperate.
Error walked out of the kitchen to see what noise was all about, only to laugh at the sight.
"Oh on! Wears my camera?"
Suddenly a knock on the door.
He watched as Dream quickly answered.
Atom got off of Color to see the new guest.
Standing there was Horror, Fell and three kids.
Two years after the whole Kidnapping thing they went by there promise.
The promise to have another kid.
But instead of one, Edge ended up having twins.
Clay and Gil. Identical twins.
The only difference was Gil had a small scar under his cheek from a accident when they were younger.
Lucky seemed totally unamused as always.
Frowning as his five year old little brothers darted in.
The tallest kid made shivers go down Colors spine.
Something about him was so familiar.
Unconsciously Color stood up as walked right up to him.
Lucky backed up, a hard scowl never leaving his face.
His dusty rose eyes staring intensely at a normal and violet heart pair.
Color then said something that made Luckys soul stop.
"Pretty eyes."
A dusty red blush covered Luckys face, yet he never let his frowned waver.
The adults watched this exchange with amusement.
After a hour the cake was set up.
The candles lit and everyone singing that same old song.
But before Color blew out the candles, he paused.
Something in Color just... knew.
Error stepped up to him worried.
"Sweetheart. Aren't you going to blow out your candles?"
Color didn't answer, he simply looked up at his dad, then slowly looked down at Errors swollen stomach.
And just like that a wave of pain ripped through Error.
He gasped and steadied himself on the table.
Fresh, who was stuffing his face with food, darted over to help his lover.
"Error! What's wrong?"
Berry gasped.
Error just shook his head in pain.
"I-I think it time."
He muttered.
Sci automatically knew what he meant and jumped to his aid.
Only then did the others realize.
The kids were ushered away and into another room by Dream.
"Umm... you guys play in here. I'll be... right back!"
And with that the kids were alone.
Memory, Clay and Gil were already on the floor laughing and talking about crazy kid stuff while Atom, Lucky and Color stood silently.
Atom turned to Color, a shy smile on her face.
"I'm... umm... sorry for sitting on you earlier..."
Color shrugged.
"It's ok! It's not like it hurt or anything."
Lucky just stared at them. Almost jealously.
Color turned to him and leaned in.
"You have very pretty eyes."
He hummed.
Atom slapped a hand over her mouth to try and stop herself from laughing at Luckys reaction.
Lucky looked away and scoffed.
"Why do you keep saying that? You should be more worried about your dad then my stupid eyes."
Luckys voice was surprisingly smooth.
It made Color almost melt at the sound.
He ignored the comment about his dad and whispered,
"You have a very pretty voice too."
Lucky blushed more and growled.
Atom couldn't hold it and and burst out laughing.
Losing his poker-face he stormed away to see what his brothers were up to.
Color only smiled watching him go.
After a few hours, Fresh walked into the room Dream had left the kids in.
He smiled to see them all together sitting around a cardboard game they must have found.
He cleared his throat to get his sons attention.
Color looked up questionably.
Fresh smiled halfheartedly,
"Come see."
Was all he said before leaving the room.
Color got up and followed, giving a glance at the others.
Fresh guided him into the spare room they had.
His momma laid in the bed; back against the dashboard.
Error looked exhausted.
Only small happiness peaked out from under the worry and doubts as Error stared down at small bundle was laid in his arms.
Fresh's smile wavered as Color looked up at him for a moment.
Color was confused why.
His brother or sister was finally here.
Why did they look so... worried.
Color stepped forward and walked over to the bed to get a closer look.
In Errors arms was a small baby bones.
He looked exactly like Error except the tears on his cheeks were a bright violet.
The baby shifted slightly, opening its eyes.
Then Color knew why they were upset and worried.
The baby's sockets were a light blue with even lighter, almost white, glassy blue eyes.
The child seemed to have no reaction to his surroundings... because he couldn't see it.
Colors baby brother was blind.
Color shifted slightly and looked up at his momma.
"He... can't see...?"
Error only nodded.
At the sound of his voice the child did react.
He moved his head towards the sound and giggled.
"Yes... he can't see. Sci says he's seen this before, and one day he might be able to see shapes or colors but it's unlikely."
Color nodded sadly.
His brother will never see him or there momma or dad. He wouldn't be able to see sunsets or stars...
Nothing.
But... at least he's ok.
He's not sick or weak. Just sightless.
Color looked up to his momma.
"What's his name?"
Error frowned thinking for a moment.
"Well... we never came up with a name. How about... you name him. With in reason of course."
Error smiled.
Color nodded. A smile crossing his face as a name came to him rather quickly.
"I know the perfect name!"
Error nodded him on.
"What is it?"
"Coda."
