Lily's P.O.V

We stood around the pensive about to dive into Harry's memories again. I was worried about what would happen. Harry and his friends say each year got worse. "Everyone ready?" Harry asked. We all nodded. I held James's hand as we entered Harry's memories. We watched as Memory Harry did his chores and went back to his room to stay out of the Dursley's way. I felt sorry for my poor Harry who had to deal with my sister and her family. Then we saw a house elf sitting on Harry's bed.

The creature slipped off the bed and bowed so low that the end of its long, thin nose touched the carpet. Harry noticed that it was wearing what looked like an old pillowcase, with rips for arm- and leg-holes. "Er — hello," said Harry nervously. "Harry Potter!" said the creature in a high-pitched voice Harry was sure would carry down the stairs. "So long has Dobby wanted to meet you, sir. Such an honor it is."

I looked at Harry and he was looking at Dobby sadly. I wondered what had happened to Dobby. Then we saw as Harry tried to stop the cake from falling onto the woman's head but failed. I glared at Vernon dangerously when he barred Harry's window so he couldn't escape. Suddenly the memory switched to Ron, Fred and George outside Harry's window in a flying car.

"Ron!" breathed Harry, creeping to the window and pushing it up so they could talk through the bars. "Ron, how did you — What the — ?" Ron was leaning out of the back window of an old turquoise car, which was parked in midair. Grinning at Harry from the front seats were Fred and George, Ron's elder twin brothers. "All right, Harry?"asked George." What's been going on?"said Ron. "Why haven't you been answering my letters? I've asked you to stay about twelve times, and then Dad came home and said you'd got an official warning for using magic in front of Muggles — " "It wasn't me — and how did he know?""He works for the Ministry,"said Ron."You know we're not supposed to do spells outside school — " "You should talk,"said Harry, staring at the floating car. "Oh, this doesn't count,"said Ron." We're only borrowing this. It's Dad's, we didn't enchant it. But doing magic in front of those Muggles you live with — " "I told you, I didn't — but it'll take too long to explain now — look, can you tell them at Hogwarts that the Dursleys have locked me up and won't let me come back, and obviously I can't myself magic out, because the Ministry'll think that's the second spell I've done in three days, so — " "Stop gibbering," said Ron. "We've come to take you home with us." "But you can't magic me out either — " "We don't need to," said Ron, jerking his head toward the front seat and grinning. "You forget who I've got with me." "Tie that around the bars," said Fred, throwing the end of a rope to Harry. "If the Dursleys wake up, I'm dead,"said Harry as he tied the tight rope around a bar and Fred revved up the car.

"AWESOME!" Sirius and James exclaimed. George smiled sadly at them. "You should've taken me with you!" Ginny moaned at Harry's side. Mrs Weasley smacked Ron on the head. "You nearly got Harry caught!" Then they were at the Burrow. Ginny blushed furiously everytime she dropped a bowl in the memory. I thought Ginny was so cute. Sirius growled when Lucius and Draco Malfoy in Flourish and Blotts and Ron yelled "GO DAD!" George, James and Sirius laughed when Harry and Ron drove Arthur's flying car to school and Harry just grinned at them sheepishly. Hermione and Ginny were shaking their heads. I mentally agreed with them. When I saw how Serverus treated Harry and Ron I almost screamed. Then Gilderoy Lockhart came and James laughed at everything he did. Everyone was silent when we saw the writing on the wall along with Mrs Norris.

The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir, beware.

Harry held Ginny as she was crying softly into Harry's shoulder. I wondered why this affected Ginny so much. In Harry's Quidditch Match James was cheering when Harry caught the snitch even with a tampered Bludger. "FRAUD" Sirius yelled when Gilderoy Lockhart failed to cure Harry's arm. When Harry started speaking Parseltongue in front of everyone at the Duelling Club I said "DON'T DO IT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE HARRY!" Then when they were brewing Polyjuice Potion to investigate Malfoy I shook my head. "So you do have a bad side Hermione!" Sirius exclaims. Hermione hit Sirius on the arm.

"If I'd sprouted whiskers, I'd take a break from work," said Ron, tipping a stack of books onto Hermione's bedside table one evening. "Don't be silly, Ron, I've got to keep up," said Hermione briskly.

James laughs and says "I agree Ron!" When Harry and Ron found the Diary everyone said "That's Voldemort" or "Who's T M. Riddle?"

His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad, His hair is as dark as a blackboard, I wish he was mine, he's really divine, The hero who conquered the Dark Lord.

Ginny turned the shade of her hair and Harry laughed. Ginny hit Harry at the back of his head. "I was madly in love with you back then! I thought this was the only way for you to notice me!" Harry kissed Ginny on the nose in response. When Harry and Ron went to speak to Aragog I found myself clinging onto James. I was shaking when Harry and Ron finally got out of the forest. I suddenly realised where the entrance to the chamber was when Harry said the basilisk was using the plumbing.

"Pipes," he said. "Pipes... Ron, it's been using the plumbing. I've been hearing that voice inside the walls..." Ron suddenly grabbed Harry's arm. "The entrance to the Chamber of Secrets!" he said hoarsely. "What if it's a bathroom? What if it's in--" "Moaning Myrtle's bathroom," said Harry.

As Ron and Harry entered the Chamber to find Ginny, I was burying my head in James's chest, trying not to see what was going on. Mr Weasley shook his head when Lockhart tried to do the memory charm with Ron's broken wand. Ginny was shaking and Harry told her she could leave if she wanted to but Ginny didn't and instead held Harry for comfort.

Then, at last, as he crept around yet another bend, he saw a solid wall ahead on which two entwined serpents were carved, their eyes set with great, glinting emeralds. "Open," said Harry, in a low, faint hiss. The serpents parted as the wall cracked open, the halves slid smoothly out of sight, and Harry, shaking from head to foot, walked inside.

We watched as Harry found Ginny and talked to Tom Marvolo Riddle. Then....

"Haven't you guessed yet, Harry Potter?" said Riddle softly. "Ginny Weasley opened the Chamber of Secrets. She strangled the school roosters and daubed threatening messages on the walls. She set the Serpent of Slytherin on four Mudbloods, and the Squib's cat." "No," Harry whispered.

James looked dumbfounded and Ginny was crying hysterically. Harry left with Ginny and left us to watch the rest.

"Voldemort," said Riddle softly, "is my past, present, and future, Harry Potter..." He pulled Harry's wand from his pocket and began to trace it through the air, writing three shimmering words: TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE Then he waved the wand once, and the letters of his name rearranged themselves: I AM LORD VOLDEMORT

I gasped. "Seriously Harry" James moaned "You have to face him again!" But James soon realised he was talking to no one and we all laughed but the mood changed back when we turned to see the memories again.

"No one knows why you lost your powers when you attacked me," said Harry abruptly. "I don't know myself. But I know why you couldn't kill me. Because my mother died to save me. My common Muggle-born mother," he added, shaking with suppressed rage. "She stopped you from killing me. And I've seen the real you, I saw you last year. You're a wreck. You're barely alive. That's where all your power got you. You're in hiding. You're ugly, you're foul--"

I burst into tears at that but kept watching. We stood there staring as Harry faced Voldemort, faced a Basilisk and managed to save Ginny. As we exited the pensieve I looked around for Harry who was holding a sleeping Ginny. "Well?" he asked. "Tell me..." I say to Harry, worriedly "Tell me do you face him again next year." "No." Harry answered "But I do in my 4th and 7th year." James groaned again "Are you serious!" Harry nods and leaves the room carrying Ginny. 

Hiiiiiiii.... ok I'm so so so so sorry for not posting this yesterday but I can explain. As you can see this chapter is long. And... I didn't have time to finish it yesterday as I had to unpack our bags from our road-trip and I had extra work. Ok enough of that. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter:
