"Alright youngsters, we're almost there," Pops announced. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. "At least I won't be surrounded by morons for much long-" Ozone began to say. However, his sentence quickly turned to a cry of panic as he realized that he had stepped too close to the edge of the walkway. He would've plummeted into a dark abyss if it hadn't been for Mel and Buddy's quick thinking. "We got you man," Buddy reassured Ozone as he held onto his tail. Quietly, he and Mel pulled the hairless cat back up on firm ground.

Peering over the edge, Ozone mumbled, "Why... why did you... do that?" He was shaking. Shrugging his shoulders as Sweetpea came over and landed on his head, Buddy answered, "It's the nice thing to do."

"Yeah and I guess we consider you a friend," Mel piped up, wagging his tail. Hearing those words, Ozone looked at the pair in shock. Shaking himself, he murmured, "Yeah, well... we should keep moving."

"My thoughts exactly," Pops agreed before setting off again. As the search party trudged onwards, Ozone lowered his head to the point that his chin almost touched the filthy floor. Whiskers twitching nervously, he opened his mouth to say something. However, nothing came out. Plus, Pops spoke again, "We've arrived."
