"Oh! I get it now." Juliet said grinning at Tybalt. Tybalt blushed and looked away.
"You don't talk much, do you?" Juliet said and tilted her head slightly. Tybalt blushed yet again. "And why do you always just skulk around looking embarrassed?" She asked.
"I don't skulk." Tybalt said looking uncomfortable.
"Yes. You do. Then if you see Romeo you glare at him. Why do you hate him?" She asked.
"Why do you wanna know?" Tybalt asked.
"Because he's my boyfriend." She replied.
"It doesn't matter. I think you've studied enough." Tybalt said, changing the subject.
"Alright then." Juliet replied, knowing she wouldn't get any answers from him. But it was worth a shot.
They walked out of the classroom together but stopped when they saw Romeo, with Mercutio walking down the hall in their football kit, laughing and joking around. Juliet had forgotten that Romeo had football practice today. The two boys saw Tybalt and Juliet, Mercutio stopped but Romeo walked up to them both. "What are you doing with him" Romeo hissed to Juliet, his eyes not leaving Tybalt. "Have you both been seeing eachother, behind my back? Is this why you missed our date?" He added, not waiting for an answer.
"No! It isn't like that!" Juliet said quickly. "Save it. This jerk's been trying to steal you from me since he saw us." Romeo said, holding up a hand to silence her.
"The only jerk I see is you." Tybalt replied frostily.
"I'd watch what you say, if I were you." Romeo said moving closer to Tybalt so that he was forced to look directly into his eyes.
"Or what?" Tybalt asked
Romeo scowled and punched Tybalt straight in the face. Tybalt was forced back, the reality was Romeo was much stronger than Tybalt. Romeo was captain of basically every sport in the school, Tybalt didn't even know the difference between baseball and basketball. Tybalt wiped his face and found that Romeo had given him a bloody nose. He retaliated by punching the side of Romeo's face. This didn't really hurt Romeo. It just made him angry, Romeo narrowed his eyes and pushed Tybalt against somebody's locker and started punching his face. Mercutio was cheering Romeo on from the sidelines but Juliet ran over to Romeo and started to try pull him away from Tybalt, yelling at him to stop.
Romeo did eventually stop, after giving Tybalt a black eye,a bloody nose and a split lip.
"Don't you dare go near my girlfriend again. You understand?" He said and shoved him again for emphasis.
Tybalt, not wanting to get beat up anymore, nodded. "Come on Juliet." Romeo said and pulled on her hand. Juliet hesitated and looked like she was about to stay with Tybalt. "I said, Come On." Romeo repeated, gritting his teeth in annoyance. Juliet looked at her feet and followed him, leaving Tybalt.
