What Happened In The Finale: Grace and Leo remarried and raised a baby girl named Lila, together. Lila was born in Rome where Leo worked at a hospital as a researcher. After one year in Rome the family moved back to New York, to their apartment in Brooklyn. Lila goes on to attend college and there meets Will and Vince's son, Ben. Lila and Ben are living in dorm rooms opposite each other's while at college; the same scenario that Will and Grace found themselves in while they attended college. Ben and Lila marry soon afterward.

Later On: When Lila and Ben announced that they were having their first baby, Grace became inspired to design baby furniture. She eventually designed nurseries for celebrities and her venture was so successful that Leo retired early. On September 21st, 2029, Lila gave to birth to twins: William Vincent, 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and Gracelyn Leona, 8 pounds, 7 ounces. Grace didn't connect immediately with Gracelyn as she did with William, as the baby cried whenever she was holding her. Three months later, all four grandparents and Rosario and Jack were baby-sitting while Ben and Lila went out for their first date since the babies came, with Karen tagging along as a third wheel. Oddly, when Grace began singing to her grandchildren, Gracelyn stopped crying.  A set of quintuplets, four boys and a girl, came along two years later on October 12th:

1. Jessica Hope, 5 pounds, 4 ounces

2. Finley Parker, 4 pounds, 9 ounces

3. Ellison Benjamin, 4 pounds, 9 ounces

4. Lewis Samuel, 3 pounds, 14 ounces

5. Leopold Sawyer, 4 pounds, 10 ounces
