Portrayal of Hufflepuffs:

This doesn't happen in every fan fiction, but I just saw this and now I'm practically ranting. I hate that in this certain fanfic that I read, all the Hufflepuffs were failing out of school. Hufflepuff doesn't equal stupid! None of the houses are the smart house or the stupid house (Ravenclaw love to learn, they don't have to be smart) and this bothers me so much! Look at Ernie Macmillan! He was a prefect, did well on his exams, and was often correcting everyone else! Look at Cedric Diggory! He was one for fair-play, clever, an incredible Quidditch player, and more! Hufflepuffs are not stupid! Maybe one or two, but all the other houses have stupid people too! Like in Gryfindoor, Lavender Brown! In Slytherin, Crabbe and Goyle! In Ravenclaw, nobody was portrayed as stupid (or Hufflepuff) . There are stupid people in all the Hogwarts houses!
