"Will Bella like this for her birthday?" I asked Jasper holding up a bracelet.

"She will love it." Jasper said as he kissed my forehead.

I smiled and wrapped it in paper before putting it into a wooden box that I had carved.

Everyone was getting ready for Bella's birthday that was tomorrow. She asked us not to get her anything but of course we didn't listen.

Everyone teamed up to get her something. Alice and Rosalie chose a dress with a necklace.Emmett and Jasper chose a radio for her truck and Carlisle and Esme bought her two tickets to Florida. I chose to get her a bracelet with a cat on it. Edward had recorded all of the songs that he made for Bella and placed them on a CD.

I then placed the present next to all of the others and I stood proud as I looked at the box.

'I hope she'll like it' I thought as I went back upstairs to my room.

I changed into my pajamas and climbed into bed.

Jasper told me yesterday that he had to hunt before Bella's birthday that way he is more comfortable and less worried.

I then fell asleep remembering the events from last month.

I woke up later that morning with another nightmare.

I looked at the time and seen that I had four more hours before school starts.

I got up and changed into my school outfit before walking downstairs to eat cereal.

I sat there at the table eating my cereal. I then realized that I was the only one in the house. Edward would leave every night to go to Bella's house.But the others left.

'Maybe they went hunting as well.' I thought as I finished my bowl and washed it before putting it away.

I then walked around and I heard something outside.

I then walked to the front yard and seen someone walking away from the house to the street.

'Maybe they are lost?' I thought as I followed after them.

"Excuse me! Are you lost?" I called to them.

They stopped and I stopped ten feet away from them.

"Yeah.Looks like I took a wrong turn. Would you mind helping me get back?" The man asked.

I nodded and I followed him to the street. The moment we saw the street the man stopped and turned to me and pulled out a gun.

"You must be stupid to follow a complete stranger to the street." The man said as he laughed.

I only stared at him before turning around and walking away.

The man stopped laughing and called out to me.

"Aren't you scared?" The man asked.

"Of course not. You see, I already called the cops. They are currently on there way here. I also took your photo without you noticing, so you can't escape." I explained as we heard police sirens heading our way.

"Then I can just shoot you and smash the phone." The man said as he pulled the trigger but nothing happened.

"You don't really know how a gun works do you? Next time read the directions." I said as the man looked at the gun in shock.

The cops arrived and arrested the man.

"I'm Chief Swan. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" the officer asked after he put the guy in the back seat.

"Of course." I said and I answered all of his questions.

After that whole incident I went back home to see everyone running around calling my name. Jasper then seen me and was by my side in a second.

"I'm so glad you're safe." he said as he was hugging me.

"Sorry I worried you.I had to answer Chief Swan's questions." I said as I hugged him back.

"What happened?" Carlisle asked when he walked up to us.

"A man tried to shoot me.But I already called the police the moment I seen him leaving this area. Turns out he is a wanted murderer from Seattle." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Well I'm glad your safe.Now it's time for school." Esme said and we all went to our respected cars.

After prom I had asked Carlisle if I could get a motorcycle and he agreed as long as Emmett showed me how it works.

So now I take my own ride to school and the best part is that the engine is custom made and is silent. I put on my helmet and got on my bike and started the engine.

I looked over to see Rosalie in the driver seat.

"I'll meet you there." I said and she nodded.

I then slowly pulled out of the garage before I took off to the road.When I reached the road I looked to make sure it was clear before going.

I felt the wind hitting my arms as I flew by cars. I feel so free on this bike. I pulled up in front of Bella's house and seen Edward's car there with Edward and Bella walking out the front door.

I parked my bike and put my backpack in front of me.

I quickly got off the bike and ran up to Bella and Edward. I held out the wooden box to her and she looked confused.

"It's a gift, Bella. Open it." Edward said as he smiled at me.

Bella took it and opened the box to see paper. Bella opened the paper to reveal the cat charm bracelet.

"I love it.Thank you." Bella said happily as she hugged me.

"You're welcome. I'll see you at school." I said and turned and walked back to my bike.

Before I left I heard someone open the front door. I turned and seen Chief Swan calling out to Bella.

"Why didn't you leave yet?" Chief Swan asked.

"Magena gave me a birthday gift. Dad can you put this inside, please?" Bella asked as she handed him the box but kept the bracelet.

Edward helped Bella put it on and I pulled away. I raced down the street and to the school. I parked between Emmett and Rosalie and turned off my bike.

I left the helmet in Rosalie's car and I walked to the school, but I passed a boy who glared at me.

I stopped next to him.

"If you hurt them.You will all die." I growled as I glared at him.

The boy turned away from me when Edward pulled into the parking lot.

I left them to start my school day.

After school I was cornered by the football team.

"So you think you're so tough just because you are one of the Cullens?" Abigail said before turning to the boys, "Do what you want with her."

The boys smiled and walked towards me with a look of lust in their eyes.

I stood my ground and prepared to fight.

"Hey! Leave my sister alone!" Rosalie shouted as she pushed through the men.

"Sweet two for us to play with." One of the boys said and they continued to walk closer.

"Emmett!" Rosalie shouted as she smirked.

The boys stopped dead in their tracks.

"Scared?" Rosalie taunted as she smirked.

"You can't do anything without Emmett here.So as long as he is distracted by something it wouldn't matter what happened to the other person." One of the other guys said as I was pulled to one side.

"Let me go!" I shouted as I tried to get to Rosalie before they touch Rosalie.

"What do you think your doing to our little sister and my girlfriend?" I heard Emmett say and the boys stopped.

They all turned to see Emmett, Jasper, Edward, and Alice.

Jasper then walked up to me when the guys ran with their tails between their legs.

"Are you hurt?" Jasper asked.

"No I'm fine.They can't hurt me anyways.Rosalie got them scared." I said to Jasper as I smiled to Rosalie.

"Well everyone is scared of Emmett." Rosalie said as Emmett hugged her close.

We then went home and got ready for when Bella came over.

I changed into my black semi-formal dress and decided against wearing heels.

I heard Edward's car pull in and we all stayed in our room as Edward quickly took her to Carlisle's office and she began to ask about the pictures.

I walked down with Jasper and stood beside Emmett and waited for Bella to walk down.

Emmett cracked jokes about the horrible radio in Bella's truck and Esme gave Bella the tickets.

"You've been looking a little pale." Carlisle said and we chuckled at the joke.

Bella smiled and went to open it but gave herself a paper cut by accident.

Everything moved in slow motion as Jasper tried to gain control of his emotions but the cut was rather deep.

I stood in between Bella and Jasper as he charged forward.

Edward pushed Bella to hard as he tried to hurry before Jasper made it to them but I took the hit for her with my speed. I felt the glass rip into my skin as I held Bella protectively in my arms.

I then watched as Jasper was dragged away by Emmett and the others went to follow. Carlisle ran to me and helped me up.Edward looked at me then Bella in sadness.

I hissed as Carlisle took out the shards of glass from my back.

"I'm so sorry Magena." Bella said as she continued to apologize every time I hissed in pain.

"I told you already.It was my choice to take the hit." I said as Carlisle finished taking the glass out and disinfecting it.

"Your body can do the rest, right?" Carlisle asked and I nodded.

I stood up and felt the wounds already healing. I walked outside to see Jasper sitting on a tree stump and I walked beside him.

"I almost attacked you." Jasper said looking at his shaking hands.

"You didn't come close to attacking me. I am perfectly fine." I said as I hugged him to my side.

"You were hurt. I seen the blood Magena." Jasper said as he rested his head in my side.

"Carlisle took the glass out and my genes healed the rest. I can show you if you want." I said looking down at him as I rubbed his head.

Jasper just shook his head.

"Edward already told me. He said we should leave. He doesn't want to cause anymore harm to Bella." Jasper said as he stood up and pulled me into a hug.

"When do we leave?" I asked as I hugged him back.

"Tonight." Jasper answered.
