Hello. I just want to explain why I decided to have song recommendations in the book. Well, when I stopped listening to secular music I didn't know how to start building my music library. I didn't know that gospel music had songs that were my favorite genre. I didn't think gospel music was good. Then one of my friends gave me a few songs by Fireflight and For King and Country. I really liked their music. I found myself listening beyond the drums and the beat. I listened to the lyrics. Uplifting lyrics, inspiring lyrics, graceful lyrics. Lyrics full of praise. And I continually discover new artists, new songs and new ways of seeing God through music. Infact, I used to dislike hip hop music before I received Christ. Nowadays I find hip hop music quite nice. There are so many artists of different genres that glorify God and minister to us. It could be through pop, rock, hip hop or even jazz music. There are so many songs that will suit your very own acquired taste. So all these songs I recommend are to just help you build your music library and see that there is diversity in the gospel music scene.
