Julian's POV

"No... what's going on? What have I done?" I said i shock, watching as Courtney was slowly bleeding. Many cuts surrounded her body.

I touched the Hollow mask on my face, shocked at what I'm becoming. A Hollow.

Ichigo picked her up, and said: "THIS IS YOUR FAULT! I LOST SOMEBODY ELSE WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ME! I WISH YOU DIDN'T EXIST!"

I heard Courtney cough up some blood.

She said something, but i couldn't hear her. It was too soft for me to hear. She passed out.

"WAKE UP!!" Ichigo called, but it didn't work.

I felt confused. Why did she jump in front of me, when she knew what would happen?

"Why..... why did she help me?" I growled.

"She isn't selfish, you're her friend, so she felt she had to protect you, I think another part of this is that you saved her from death once, but she wanted to return the favor. But that still doesn't give her a reason to save your ass! Considering she'll probably die!!" Ichigo exclaimed in reply, with gritted teeth and furrowed eyebrows.

"IT'S NOT MY FAULT! I DIDN'T ASK HER TO SAVE ME!!" I exclaimed, getting to my feet, and grabbing my sword. Ichigo did the same, and threw Courtney over his shoulder. I noticed one of her sides was bleeding. It was near her rib cage as well.

"STOP THIS!" Rangiku exclaimed as she approached Ichigo and I.

"YOU IDIOT! YOU'RE TOO WORRIED ABOUT REVENGE THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN NOTICE THAT YOUR LITTLE FRIEND WILL DIE FROM A LOSS OF BLOOD IF SHE ISN'T TAKEN TO A HOSPITAL SOON!" Rangiku exclaimed, causing our eyes to widen. "Take her to a hospital, we'll try to fix Julian, do you understand?" Rangiku added.

"You're right..." Ichigo said, and took off.

Anger built up, within me.

"Julian?" Rangiku asked, as she tried to approach me.

I gripped the Hollow mask, and pulled as hard as I can.

"RRRRAAAAAAAGGHHH!!!" I roared in pain.

"NO! Don't do it!" Rangiku called.

The mask started to come off, then RRRIIIIPPP!!!!

The mask fell to the ground, and shattered. The hole in my chest healed itself, and transformed me back to normal. I fell to the ground. Before darkness took over, I heard:

"Take him to the hospital that Ichigo took Courtney to! GO!!!"

The exhaustion took over, and I passed out.

Julian's Inner World.

'Heh heh heh heh.... looks like you've been able to control me..." I head Anti-Julian say. I looked around. The city was entirely destroyed, except for the one building I'm standing on.

He appeared behind me. I turned around to face him.

'You....." I said, drawing my katana out.

"Don't bother. I'm on your side now. I know what you're capable of."

I put my katana back. I looked around again, and asked him "Why is this place like this?"

He replied "Seems like each of the elemental spirits want to take control of you. That's also the reason why you feel so angry, depressed, confused, etcetra, etcetra..." He said, twirling his hand twice.

"Would you like to see your friend?" Anti-Julian asked, revealing a portal to her inner world.

"Yes, I would, actually." I said, passing through the portal. When I reached her inner world, it stayed open. Anti-Julian called out "As long as your body stays close to hers, the portal will remain open, it not... well.. good luck getting back. I'll keep it open, okay?" I nodded.

I looked around Courtney's inner world. A field, with healthy flowers spread about. In the middle of the field I saw a tree. And near the tree I saw a girl with long pink hair.

"Benzaiten." I said, to myself. I also noticed that Courtney was sitting near her..... Courtney?!?!

I ran towards her, and gave her a BIIIIG hug!

She winced, and said "Julian?! What are you doing here? And most importantly, how did you get here?" She asked, holding her side.

"Oh, I forgot about your wound, sorry! Um..... actually, my inner hollow let me through. And I wanted to see you!" I hugged her lightly, being careful to not touch her wound.

"I'm sorry... for everything..." I said, trying not to cry.

"What....?!" She said, confused.

"Everything that's been happening....*sniff*... it's because of me... the hollows.. the deception..... the kiss...." I said, blushing.

"I.... I just wanted you and Ichigo to get back together, that's all..... because... I know you two still have feelings for each other... don't you?" I asked, tears streaming down my cheeks.

"Awww..... that's sweet, but.... Ichigo said some things that really hurt me, so I can't see him anymore..... at least until he apolagizes." She said, blushing.

"You mean.... until he apolagizes *sniff*.... you'll get back together?" I asked, knowing what she meant.

"Yeah...." She said, touching the scars on my right cheek.

"Please..." I said, grabbing a hold of her hand. "I don't want you to see the memories of the scars I've received." I said, putting her hand down, gently.

"But, I want to see how you got them,so I could understand why you hide them." She said, concerned.

"Fine. just wait a second."

I stood up, and took off my shirt. I felt a hand grab my shirt, and pull it off.

"Let me help you." Benzaiten said.

"Thank you, but I only have to take off my shirt.... hey!" I said, pushing her away, so she wouldn't unbutton my pants. My cheeks went red.

"Here." I said motioned towards the X-shaped scar on the middle of my chest.

"Touch it." I said, going closer to Courtney. When her hand touched it, memories flooded my mind.

"Look out, Julian!" Youruichi called, as a ninja slashed my chest.

"Julian, what are you doing? Get away from there!! Julian!!!"

"Come on Julian, wake up!!! WAKE UP!!!!"

 "You will die, JULIAN!!!!"

"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!"

"RRAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!"

The memories stopped abruptly, as I jumped away from Courtney, who was now panting. I was panting, too. I knew by the look on her face, that she understood the pain that I went through.

I walked toward her and said "Thank you."
