Julian's POV

As Borko said earlier, everyone in Ichigo's room forgave me. I walked up to the bed and saw that Courtney shain was halfway to her body.

"J-Julian...." She said, in spirit form.

i held her hand.

"Don't worry, I'll bring you back." Tightening my grip on her hand.

Empty your mind. Calm yourself. Be strong, my son. I love you. A female voice said in my head.

"Mother?" I asked myself, quietly.

The voice didn't say anything back. I sighed.

I thought of Unohana's teachings, and concentrated.

 I will bring Courtney back to life. That thought played over and over in my head.

I exhaled, and concentrated.

Next thing I knew, I was in a different world.

"This must be Courtney's Inner World." I said to myself. "Thought I imagined it to be a little more..... lively." I commented.

I'm standing in the middle of a field, which seemed to go on forever. There were storm clouds, and thunder. Some of the flowers were dying, or were already dead.

I turned around to see.... Courtney!

I ran towards her, and crouched down to hold her up.

"Courtney! Courtney!! Speak to me!" I said, shaking her.

"Julian? Is that you?" She asked, weakly.

"No." I said, transforming myself into Ichigo. I used the dark element to do this.

"Ichigo?" She asked.

"I'm here, Courtney." I said, caressing her.

"You came here to... to help me? I thought Julian... mmph!" I cut her off by kissing her.

Her eyes were wide at first, but she closed them, eventually, embracing the kiss.

We seperated from each other.

"Come on, we've got to bring you back." I said, helping her stand up.

"Julian opened your Inner World for me, so I could enter." I said.

"Oh really? That's sweet of him. He's... a really good friend. I'll thank him when we get back." Courtney said, smiling.

Yeah, I'm a really good friend, doing this to her. I thought.

"Before we go, Julian asked me to give you this." I said removing a small shield-like object from my chest and gave it to Courtney.

"What is it?" She asked.

"It will prevent the chain on your neck from growing. Now, put it on."

She did as told, and put it against her chest.

"Let's go."

In the real world...

I managed to get out of her Inner World before her, so I could explain things to Ichigo.

"You what?!" He yelled.

"I had to do it, in order for her to not destroy herself from the inside out. Her Inner World needs the power of love in order to exist. That's why... I kissed her."

"Not only that, you did it, looking like me, somehow!" I chigo responded, yelling all the while.

I sighed.

"You would have done it..." I said.

Ichigo was caught off guard. He didn't know what to say.

"Ah, whatever." He said, sitting back down on his bed.

"Is this true?" Kita said, angrily.

"Yes... I-" WHAP!

"I can't believe you did that! To your own brother, too! You should be ashamed of yourself." Kita said, storming out of the room. When I rubbed my cheek, she peeked out of the door, and said:

"We're through."

Sadness started to overwhelm me. Tears started to form in my eyes.

"Excuse me." I said, jumping out of Ichigo's bedroom window. Also trying not to cry.

Courtney's POV

"Mmm... what happened? Ichigo?" I said, rubbing my eyes.

When I looked around the room. Everyone seemed upset.

"What's wrong?" I asked, curiously.

"Julian tricked you, that's what!" Ichigo shouted as he went downstairs.

"What does he mean by that, Renji?" I asked as he sat down, rubbing his head.

"Julian disguised himself as Ichigo. That way, he MADE you feel love. So your Inner World wouldn't fall apart, and turn you into a Hollow." Renji answered.

"But... why?" I asked, saddened.

"I don't know. Why don't you ask Julian? When he gets back. IF he decides to come back that is..

Rukia punched hem, saying "Don't say things like that!"
