Julian's POV

"You're afraid, aren't you?" I asked, sneering.

"I... I, uh.... wha..?" She stammered.

I smiled from ear to ear. "This is going to be fun. Diabolos, the executioner! Let's do this!"

As soon as I said that, a spirit made of dark red shadows appeared out of the axe I held. He then transformed into Kojiro, my uncle. I smiled again.

"How?" He asked, looking at himself. "I summoned you here, since you're a part of me, remember?"

He looked at me and smiled. "Good. I've been itching for a fight. Now then..." He then called out "SHUNKO!!!" Red and black waves surrounding him swirled up into the sky and dissipated. He stood before us, wearing a red trenchcoat and a pair of black gloves, jeans, and shirt.

He held a dark red hooksword in each of his hands.

"I've accepted the darkness that Kojiro.... I mean, Uncle Kojiro has given me." We both dashed towards Courtney, and clashed blade against blade.

Courtney's POV

How powerful is Kojiro? Is he.... like me? Like how Aizen mentioned? Does this mean that he's going to be like me?

 Back to Julian's POV

 "Grrr!!!!" I growled, striking Courtney again and again. She managed to block mine, and Uncle Kojiro's attacks. He attacked again, but every time she blocked them. There! An opening in her defense! I lunged forward.... and was knocked forward.

"Julian!!" Kita! What's she doing here! I stood up quickly, and saw Courtney holding Kita, choking her. She said "Take one more step forward, and she dies!" I gripped my axe tightly.

Then I heard a SNAP!

I looked forward and nearly fell from shaking.

Courtney snapped her neck.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. When I shouted, the earth trembled, thunder struck the ground, destroying the earth. There was also winds blowing, ice swirling with the wind and rain. Magma leaked from the cracked earth, and light shone, despite the darkenng clouds.

Her body fell to the ground. Before she fell, I caught her in my arms. "Jul.....GK!! ..... Julian....... I ....I'm..*COUGH!* ....... I'm sorry........ ugh....." I held her hand tightly, trying to keep her alive. "Kita.... No! Don't leave me! Please......" Tears escaped my eyes as I sobbed.

Then, a flash of light appeared from my amulet, and surrounded both of us.

Courtney's POV

I cn't believe I did that... I killed a friend... wait, that wasn't me, it was the hollow inside me.... it killed Kita. Kojiro.... I mean, Julian's girlfriend.

Kojiro's POV

Where are we? I thought. It echoed.

"Welcome to the realm of light, Julian."  A voice said. It was female, definitely. I looked around. I'm surrounded by light. "Who are you?" I asked, curiously.

She appeared before me. The first thing that came to my mind was that she's very beautiful. She had golden eyes, flawless pale skin, long wavy, flowing hair and she was wearing a long, white robe.

"I am a part of your zanpakuto. I am Solaris, the element of light."  When she said that, I felt more calm than usual. 

"Kita!" I called out, before she put her index finger to my mouth, shushing me.

She pointed to my right. "She is here." Kita was laying down. Her wound was gone. She.... was completely healed.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

"Thank you so much, Solaris." I hugged her and kissed her on the cheek.

I went up to Kita and held her in my arms,

Then the light dissappeared, and we were back where we were.

"Kita?" I said, making sure she was well. She slowly opened her eyes and said "Julain? What happened?" I hugged her, again.

"You're alive, Kita. Courtney tried to kill you. And, the element of light, Solaris, brought you back." I kissed her. "I love you, Kita.... I love you so much." We held each other for a few minutes, and stood up.

"Come on, we have to get Courtney! She's still an Arrancar!"
