Kita's POV

My first kiss.... in front of everyone, I feel.... so embarassed, but I don't care what other people think, because, it's not about what people look like, it's what's inside that counts.

These thoughts went through my head as Kojiro was kissing me.

His lips are so soft. And his skin my be scarred, but, despite his rough exterior, he's a kind, gentle soul. I think he's just... insecure about certain things. He tries to show that he's tough, but in fact, he's very sensitive.

As our lips seperated, he whispered "I love you." into my ear. I whispered back "I love you too, Kojiro." My cheeks went pink. I've never felt this way about anyone before.

We stood up and left the operation room.

"Kojiro? Why did you take the hit for me back in the real world?" I asked, curious.

"Because the way I felt about you right now, that's how I felt when I did that. I'd do anything to protect you, I'd follow you to the ends of the earth..." His cheeks went red as he said that.

He managed to slip his hands into mine. His cheeks went even redder.

I gave him a quick peck on the cheek, and decided to run from him.

"Catch me if you can!" I called at him.

Kojiro's POV

"Hey, you got a head start! That's not fiar! Oh, you bet I'll catch you!" I ran after her.

Street after street, we chased after each other. I saw her turn around a corner, and face a dead end.

She panicked, and saw what she could do. She jumped on to one wall, and jumped off towards ths other. Hm. Wall-jumping. "Come on, slowpoke." I smiled. How could a guy like me find a girl like her, huh? I must be the luckiest guy in the Soul Society.

I ran towards the wall, and took one mighty leap, and managed to grip the edge. I pulled myself up, to see Kita was waiting for me. "Wow, one jump, huh? Heh heh, come on!" She then did a backflip onto a pole and swung off it. I can't do that. My arms and legs are too heavy. Unless...

I put my hands to my feet and pressed a combination of buttons only I knew.

"Boosters activated." A female monotone voice said. A burst of fire sounded under my feet. I jumped up, and flew after Kita.

Kita's POV

"I wonder if Kojiro caught up to me, yet."

I can hear something. It sounds like a jet. I turn around and see Kojiro, flying after me!

"Wahhhhh!!!" I yelled as he flew right past me "Hey!! No fair!! I can't fly, yet!"

"Well. I guess this means you lose, then!" He yelled at me.

I growled. I decided to make my way through tight spots that Kojiro can't fit through.

As I make through the tight fit buildings, I can hear Kojiro, flying around, looking around for me.

"Where are you, kita?" He called after me.

I jumped out of the building, and landed on to the next roof. He landed just a few feet behind me. I can hear the metal of his feet scraping the cement of the roof.

Wait! That's it! His limbs! They must be heavy! I scanned ahead for anything breakable.

Ah ha! A thatched roof! Perfect!

As I reached the of the thatched roof I jumped on it and onto the next building, and turned around to see what would happen next.

He jumped onto the roof, and just as I expected, he fell through.

SMAASH!!! Went whatever he crushed. I couldn't but laugh.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!' I held my stomach, while slapping the ground, from laughing so much.

Kojiro's POV

Whoa, what happened? Did I fall? I looked around, then up. A hole. Yeah, I fell. A thatched roof. Huh. She's more clever than I thought.

A man in his fifties, came up to me and said "Are you all right, young'un?" He helped me up and I said " I'm fine. Could've been a lot worse. Oh, I'm sorry about the roof, here." I said as I handed him some money, and left.

I looked up, and saw Kita laughing her butt off.

"Hey!" I called out to her.

She stopped laughing and looked my way.

"This isn't over yet!" I then jumped towards the house and landed near her. "Wahh!" She yelled out, running away. I chased after her.

When we reached a backyard, I was just two feet behind her, and then...

...We tripped.

I ended up falling on top of her, but because we were at an angle, we rolled until we stopped, with her on top of me.

She looked at me, and I knew what she was thinking. We leaned against each other and kissed. As we were making out, we rubbed each other's bodies and felt each other up.

I then rolled on top of her and lifted one of her legs and wrapped if around me. I heard her moan in pleasure. I backed up a bit, and asked "What's wrong?" She smiled, and said "You found my ticklish spot. I looked back at her and kissed her again. Our hands were locked together. And so were our lips.

I knew that I'd find the one to spend my life with.

Kita's POV

His body is so hard against mine, as he grips my waist, and kisses my neck, I couldn't help but moan, again.

He knew where to touch me, how gently, how rough.

It's like he knows just what when he's with a woman.

"Are you sure you want to do this here, right now?" I asked as he backed his lips away from my neck.

He then looked at me, smiling.

"Not yet, when I know that you're ready to do this." He said.

"I... I'm not sure I want to..." I said, shakily.

He kissed me again, and said "I'll respect your wishes. When you're ready and able, tell me, okay?"

I smiled and nodded.

We both sat up, and watched the sunset together, hand in hand.
