Your POV:

You groaned when you woke up

You heard someone jump to her feet and gave you a bone crushing hug

You finally opened your eyes to see Adora "Adora" you barely said and she loosened her grip

"I'm sorry. Sorry Y/n I didn't mean to hurt you! Are you ok?" She put a hand under your chin and tilted your head to both sides "Please tell me you are fine. Are you fine?"

Your stomach did something weird before you pushed her hand away "I'm fine don't worry. Chill out. Deep breaths remember?"

She nodded and you saw her relax slightly. You smiled as much as you could "Good"

"What happened back there?" Adora suddenly asked and you gulped

"Nothing" you mumbled and rolled your neck since it was stiff "Where is everyone?"

"Oh they are in their rooms" Adora smiled awkwardly. What did she knew that you didn't?

"Why?" You frowned and raised an eyebrow

"I-uh because...bse i m..." She whispered the last part and it all got all mushed up

You out a hand on your ear "What?"

She sighed "Because it's 3 am!" She yelled then covered her mouth "Sorry" she whispered

"Adora!"

"I said I'm sorry!"

"You can't be up at 3am you need sleep!"

"You fucking know I can't sleep at night even less when you could be dead in the morning!"

"Then sleep here!"

"I tried but they kicked me out!"

"Then you kick them out!"

She paused and looked to the right before looking back at you with a grin "That's actually not a bad idea"

You sighed and put a hand over your face. Dear Etheria these people...

You got up on your elbows and blew a strand of hair away from your face "Can I at least go to my room now?"

She shrugged "Probably?"

"Wow I can't believe I even asked" You shook your head as you jumped down from the bed "That shadow really had hit my head harder than I thought"

Adora frowned "What shadow?"

"Uuh nothing"

She went to grab your hand but you stepped away quickly and ran forward "Night!"

"Y/n!"

"Nope. Night darling!"

You could hear her groan but she was soon out of sight. You were panting and leaned against the wall

"I had taken a worse beating than I thought" you said to yourself and looked around

You had so much more until you reached your room. You looked to the left to see a door and an idea came to mind

You straightened up and stood in front of it while rubbing your hands

"Ok door let's teleport" you said to it and put a hand over the handle

"3...2...1...go" you opened the door but were disappointed when you entered a normal room

You groaned "It shall be walking then"

(Mini time skip)

You finally found your room and you layed down on the bed, exhausted

You felt like you had ran for miles

There was a soft knock on the door but you didn't have the strength to answer

It opened slowly as a single blue eye peeked through before coming in. You put your head back down on the pillow as Adora entered

"Heyyyy Y/n"

"Yes you can stay here" your voice came out weird since it was muffled by the pillow

"Thank you" you felt the mattress next to you go down before it settled in again

You moved your head to look up at her as Adora tried to take the blanket without disturbing you

She grinned awkwardly and quickly moved underneath. You started playing with the end of the fabric

"I'm glad you're here" You turned around to look at her and smiled

"Same"

Adora was mindlessly playing with a strand of your hair and you doubted she even noticed "Did it hurt?"

You frowned "Did what hurt?"

"When you fell from heaven" she grinned and you got up and punched her shoulder

"Adora!" She laughed

"Sorry not sorry"

"And no, I crawled my way up from hell when even Satan couldn't deal with me"

She snored "Nice one"

"Thanks"

You smiled and looked into her eyes. They seemed to be brighter for some reason. Was she sick? Oh no. Oh wait that's actually the opposite. Right

You could feel her breath on your face so you moved away from her body until you no longer felt her breath against your skin, trying not to blush. Well duck

You couldn't really see if she was blushing since the light was dim so you decided to let it go and lay back down next to her

"Good night Adora"

"Night Y/n" she said sleepishly and you drifted off to sleep with a smile on your face

"PRINCESS PROM PRINCESS PROM WE ARE GOING TO PRINCESS PROM"

You covered your ears. Bloody hell

One thing you missed tho, you never knew people would be so happy to see you awake. Glimmer was hugging you way too tightly then Bow had come in cutting your oxygen supply completely and started crying

Even Angella had teared up a bit

After all that drama was over this was happening

"My eaaaars" you whined and removed your hands

"Uh what's princess prom?" Adora raised her hand up and asked

Holly hell she didn't need to do that "You don't know?!"

Here we go again...

"Didn't you get the invitation?"

You frowned "What- oooH you mean the really fucking long thing that I found in my room this morning?"

Adora blinked "What are you talking-" she got cut off by a really long rolled up piece of paper hitting her on the head

You caught it and inspected the surface "Oh. That" she said dryly

Glimmer nodded excitedly "We are going to princess prom!"

Then Bow appeared and took Glimmers hands "Princess prom! Princess prom! We are going to princess prom!"

You sighed and pulled Adora up so you could go to the other room. On your first step forward you were surrounded by schemes and you looked down at the paper in your hands

"I'm not even gonna be surprised by this point"

"Hmm?"

"Nothing"

Then in a flash you remembered what you were doing. You and Adora were panicking since you didn't really have a plan on how to do every single thing in the party

So instead of trying on dresses like the other two you helped her know EVERYTHING there was to know about any of the princesses, the etiquette, the rules of the ball and so on

But you decided to study the outlay of the castle just in case

I mean attacks could happen at any time right?

Even if you always tried to help others to relax you couldn't really do a good job of it yourself

You held the paper up to the light and pursed your lips "How many rooms are there?!"

Adora didn't look up from her scheme "Probably around 67 alone"

You rubbed your forehead "ok I think I have most of them memorised, plus the fastest route to get anywhere plus an escape route"

Adora smiled "Good. I have-"

"Why aren't you getting ready for the prom?!" Glimmer bursted inside for once

"We are" you said plainly

"Come on, let's get you something to wear"

She grabbed your hands "Ready?" She didn't wait for an answer and off you go

You were now in a giant closet

Oh god...

(Time skip)

You had two options

A suit or an indigo blue dress with a silver armcuff and some really pretty silver headband

You decided on the suit since you could hide armour underneath on some places. One thing is to always be prepared for anything and you were grateful for that quality

You put on your black top and a black suit and let your hair down for once

You decided to smooth out the top of your hair and put on a silver ring on your fourth finger

All ready to go

Wait...

You spotted a golden belt. You needed that

Ok, now everything was ready

You exited the changing room since Glimmer and Adora were waiting for you to choose what to wear, having being tossed at around 50 things aside because they didn't like them

You pushed the door open, more like kicked actually, and placed your hands on your hips "Let's go because we are going to be late and I need to hide a dagger in my suit"

Both of the girls were blushing and you just laughed softly "Thanks"

You know you looked hot as hell so who could blame them?

Bow slammed the door open "We need to go or we are gonna be late!"

Ugh voice cracks. You loved him too much to say anything tho

"Right"

"Sure"

"Daggers"

Everyone looked at you "What? I really want to hide them"
