You stood with Frosta in front of you as you were both gripping a cup of tea

She pointed at the ice table in front of her "Anything to eat?"

You shook your head silently and leaned back against the couch. She sighed and put her cup down

"Look I'm sorry I didn't believe you at first"

You scoffed and looked away

She glared "But as you can see I'm trying to make this right, so I will join your rebellion"

Your eyes snapped back to hers and you extended a hand towards her "Then welcome to the princess alliance Queen Frosta"

She smiled "Just Frosta. I never liked that title anyways"

You nodded "Sure Frosta" that made you smile, just a bit and that even surprised you "What do you plan to do now then?"

"You will see. I will tell everyone the plan at the meeting you have with your general later today" she pointed out and took a sip from her tea

You were just about to swallow when you heard her which caused it to get stuck in your throat. You coughed, feeling like you were going to pass out "How do you know when we have meetings in the castle?"

"I know everything child"

"But you are a child" You pointed at her, both of your eyebrows raised

"But I'm Queen which makes me more emotionally mature than all of you"

You shook your head but decided to not say anything "I need to give you something it's about when we-" You took out the piece of paper only to get your sword in your hand

You looked around to see the man giving you back your weapons, along with everyone else's from the best friend squad

You took the box and stepped into your room

"I swear life can't get any weirder" you mumbled under your breath and placed the box on the floor

You sat next to it and picked up some of the weapons In it. Most of them were yours obviously, but there was also Bow's bow and arrow, and-

Where the hell was Adora's sword?

You looked around frankly but couldn't find it

"Fucking Catra" you trew your hands up and groaned "Please someone save me from this heeeeell"

(Time skip)

"Ok brain, function" you talked to yourself "It can't be that hard"

You walked down the halls of the castle, wandering mindlessly for time to pass by until the meeting could be set in place

But you didn't expect Queen Angella to be just around the corner, making you scream in surprise. You laughed awkwardly when you stumbled "Sorry"

"No, don't be"

You looked at where she was looking, a small ball of light illuminating the picture in front of her

You pointed "Who's that?"

Her shoulders went down "King Micah, my husband. He build the rebellion with me and was one of the first casualties with the Hord"

You mentally kicked yourself. Idiot why did you do that? You don't just ask for someone's dead husband "Can I...know how he died?"

Angella froze for a moment. It was silent for so long you thought she wasn't going to respond until "He was executed they..." She cleared her throat "They did it here. In Bright Moon. They forced me to watch along with everyone else, hoping it would crush their hopes. But it didn't work like they planed"

"I'm so sorry"

What else were you supposed to say? Oh hey let's renegade? Like?

She turned towards you "Y/n I'm sorry for what happened at the ball" her gaze softened, the sorrow coming trough

You shrugged, trying to play it off "Don't be. They will be fine I know it"

She nodded "I hope they will "

You swallowed and nodded "Yes Queen Angella"

She shook her head "You know we are long past the formalities Y/n"

You crossed your arms and looked down at your palm "I know"

"I'm sorry Y/n" She put a hand on your arm and squeezed before letting go and walking further away

The world glitched and you were now in the map room, the meeting was already taking place

You looked at Frosta as she sat in a higher chair with cushions underneath while everyone discussed the next course of action

"No. I will not let you risk your lives like that without a plan" Angella sat back in her chair, her hands clapped "We will discuss this further in the morning, now we all need to get some sleep"

You looked down. You had been feeling something off for the last hour or so. Like an upset in balance

It was like you could feel something else, maybe it was another runestone

Every time the Black Garnet would pop up in your mind. You remembered how every time when you were in that room you could feel it buzz with energy, almost electric

And that magic was used for something bad but the more you tried to look into it, the more you were failing

You stood up and raised your voice as you got angrier "I don't think we have time"

You wanted to yell right then and there but you held your tongue for once. Your eyes had narrowed themselves and it took you a lot of effort to relax them again

A moment of silence passed before Angella spoke "What do you mean by that?"

"I feel something off with the Black Garnet, it's the runestone that was first occupied by the Horde as some of you might know"

You looked at everyone else and took a deep breath. Here goes nothing

"The balance had been upset more this time. It's like, I can feel when someone is using the energy of the runestones to try and upset it. I feel the magic in it but I cannot use it" you looked up at the others "Shadow Weaver had used it to do something. Something worse than usual" you scrunched your face up in thought "I don't know how to explain it I-" you sighed "We need to go there. Now"

"No" The queen stood up, her wings spreading out. Oh shit she was angry "As your queen I say that nobody is to step a foot outside this castle until we make a plan. Now go to your rooms and get some rest. You will need it"

Everyone shared a concerned look and you could see their tired faces, half of them were practically asleep already. One by one they left the room but you stayed behind, seemingly not able to move

Finally you got up and noticed that the queen was still staring at the map, not  getting up

"Aren't you going to get some sleep too?"

"No, I can't rest until I have my daughter back" she didn't look up "along with Bow and Adora"

You nodded "Good night and..." You hesitated "Good luck"

You scrunched up your nose. Ugh that sounded bad

You left the room without another word and headed for your room

You leaned against a wall instead of going inside and held your head in your hands. Something bad had happened, you could feel it deep in your bones

You finally went inside your room. Sleep didn't come that night

After a couple of hours trying to sleep you gave up. You put on an almost transparent white cloak over your shoulders and gathered things from all around the room, dumping them in the middle of the floor and started creating a map of the Fright Zone, including all the rooms that you knew of and the positions where most of the guards would be at

You were making a plan about how to get in for the next two hours or so before you had it

You grinned. That should work

You looked at the clock. It was 7:54 and you were supposed to be back there at around 8 am

You got up from your seating position and grabbed the door handle. You were gonna finish this once and for all

You walked inside the room and saw that all of the princesses were already gathered there

Everyone looked at you as you entered. You slammed the paper on the table "I have a plan"

(Time skip)

The Queen still didn't approve

You had decided you would sneak out. You didn't give a shit about her opinion right now, you had to save your friends before something bad happens if it already hadn't

"Hey" You frowned as you heard a voice and turned around to see Mermista, Perfuma, Entrapta and Frosta in front of one of the windows

Mermista was leaning against it, a slight smile on her face

"Is she possessed?" You pointed at her while looking at the others

She rolled her eyes and gave you an annoyed look "We came here to help"

"Oh wow you really are possessed" You grinned and she held a hand up with a warning glare, a line if water appearing from the ground next to her

You held your hands up "I was joking Mermista!"

(Time skip)

You were near the front doors of the Fright Zone. You looked back at the others

Entrapta took her computer thingy and walked away with Perfuma, Mermista headed for the water while you and Sea Hawk stood together

Entrapta was currently hacking into their data base to disable the doors and open them without causing an alarm to go off. She was also gonna disable the alarm itself

You looked up as a flash appeared. That was your sign to go

You gave Mermista a thumbs up. She walked to the door and hid behind a big piece of metal with her backpack since you made her get water just in case while you waited for Entrapta and Perfuma

You grinned as you walked up from your cover and crossed your hands

"Hey guys" the guards looked at you then shared a confused look

You formed a ball of blue energy in your hand and slowly looked up "This will be fun"

After a few hits they were on the ground as you clapped your hands together. Everyone gathered around and Perfuma tied them up with her plants

You and Mermista dragged them away and hid them in the shadows. Just as you were about to go you saw someone coming up towards you

Everyone hid except Sea Hawk "Sea Hawk!"  You whisper yelled but Scorpia was already next to him

"I'm the inspector!"

You slammed your forehead. Oh god you were doomed. How have you even survived this long?

"Oh yes! Follow me, it's this way" Scorpia said with a smile and they drove away

Your eyes were so wide I swear "What?!" You blinked "How?!!"

"There is no time, let's go" Mermista grabbed your hand but you saw her gaze linger to where Sea Hawk had dissapeared

You placed a hand on her shoulder "We will find him I promise"

The door opened and Entrapta grinned "Ta daaa!"

"Thank you Entrapta" you waved a hand at the others and you walked in

You walked to the left but didn't find anyone standing guard, thankfully. You knew at this time the cadets were training and the guards had a shift change for a few minutes so you had to be fast

You looked at the clock. Two more minutes "Fuck"

"What?"

"Two more minutes. We need to run. Now" you stopped when you heard everyone act like a group of elephants and turned around "But quietly!"

All of you ran as you navigated the place by memory, trying to get to the prison as fast as humanly possible. You saw two guards and hid in the shadows, the others following behind you

"Hey!" One of them said

You rolled your eyes "Spare me the talk" you held your hands up and pinned the guards to the walls. You sharply spread them out and they slammed against the opposite walls, falling down unconcious

You decided to change the way and go for the short cut you knew was on the left but before you could even take another you saw ten or more people surrounding you

"Go. I will cover here" Mermista held her hands up and water surrounded her

"Stay alive" you yelled as you ran away

You looked at the crossway, trying to remember what door was for what "This way" you pointed to the left and opened it to reveal another corridor

This place was like a fucking maze

You stopped in your tracks once you saw who had appeared in front of you. Catra

You looked at one another for a moment before she silently said "They erased Adora's memories"

You gasped and your eyes widened. It felt like your world was starting to fall apart, really really slowly. It all made sense now. You swayed a bit and Perfuma quickly put a hand on your shoulder to try and help you to stay on your feet

"What..." You looked back at her and took a step forward

No. No she lying. This can't be true

You grabbed her shirt and pinned her against the wall "You are lying" your voice broke

"I wish I was"

And she was telling the truth. You could see it in her eyes, in the way her ears stayed flat against her head and her tail had stopped moving. She barely brushed it against you ankle before you let her go

"No" tears appeared in your eyes "No! That can't be It I-"

Catra wouldn't meet your gaze but you saw the tears in her eyes too

"I will help you" she said solemnly "But you need to hurry"

"Why? Why would you help us?" It was Perfuma who asked this time

"Because she doesn't remember me either! She hates me ok? She didn't just forget about you, she forgot about me too!" Catra clenched her shaking hands and hissed "You need to get her out of here before it gets worse"

You nodded and squeezed her shoulder "We will"

You exchanged a look and she smiled. It felt like old times again, when everything was simple. Her tail wrapped itself around your wrist but you couldn't move your eyes away

"Now follow me before it's too late"

The world glitched and you stumbled forward. Catra grabbed your waist and helped you back up on your feet

Your eyes started to glow much to your dismay and you quickly pulled away from her grip

With the help of Catra you busted Bow out of his holding cell much to her bruised ego and went on with the mission

She didn't like this but you could see she did all of this for Adora. You smiled. True love anyone?

You were gonna get Glimmer first since she could teleport and get you out of there but instead you found her in a..holding cell?

She was on the last floor and staring at the ground once you found her in her chains. Even Catra looked shocked

"She was with Shadow Weaver yesterday" she looked at her in confusion "Why did they being her here? It's not like it can hold off her powers"

"Because her powers-" your face paled

You quickly put the code in and opened the cell. Glimmer looked up, her blank face filling with just a tiny bit of hope that brought some relief to your being

You smiled sadly and hugged her gently, trying not to hurt her since she was already badly bruised "Hey Glim"

"Glimmer!" Bow rushed in as you cut her chains off with your magic

"We need to go" Catra looked around "The guards are coming"

Bow pulled Glimmer up and nodded at you to keep going. You turned around and then at Catra "Thank you"

"This is not because I like you" she paused "or Adora. I don't like any of you"

You grinned "Suuure"

With the footsteps approaching you couldn't help the shiver that ran down your spine as you felt a familiar presence. You looked at Catra apologetically and grabbed her by the neck

Yes, you have a kink for necks now shut up with the comments

"I'm sorry but I don't want to get you in trouble so just pretend with me" you bit out quickly and looked back at the guards
