You were woken up from your sleep by a sudden nightmare

You looked around the place, bodies laying all over the floor

The palace was mostly burned down to ashes, the Horde symbol staring at you from above

Angella was laying on the ground unconscious, a deep wound on her stomach. You watched as Catra walked around and took in the destruction

She was just as badly bruised, with lots of cuts and wounds all over her body

The Horde kept attacking the castle, taking out what remained of the soldiers of Bright Moon

That's when Adora appeared, stumbling down and holding her bleeding side, her sword dragging behind her on the ground

She put a hand over her mouth as she fell on her knees, her sobs echoing around the now empty field

You screamed when you woke up from it, now you were exploring the castle in attempt to calm yourself down

You hoped Adora was ok. That Bright Moon wasn't really gone, and it was fine. That Angella was eating cake or something at the moment and that Catra was happily living in the Horde, if that was even remotely possible

If anyone could do it, it's these two

"Darling"

You turned back to see your mother approaching and standing in front of the window next to you, the light softly illuminating her features as she looked even more stunning than you remembered. Times really do not change sometimes

"The place is beautiful isn't it?" She smiled softly as she asked, her head turning slightly to you

You nodded "Yeah, it reminds me of our old home"

M/n chuckled and looked back at the window, her gaze landing on a group of people down below "I'm sorry you were forced to live with the evil Horde all these years, but now I want to make it up to you"

You didn't know if you wanted to cry or laugh. Instead, you scoffed "How?"

"You can stay here. I'm having problems running the kingdom and your help would be appreciated. You should be 18 soon, you can be crowned Queen. I can help you with your magic and everything will be back like it was before" She placed a hand on your shoulder, her expression soft and loving and...

You shook your head. This was too good to be true "But I have to stay here"

She sighed "Yes I'm afraid, but this land is frozen in time. Nobody will age as long as you are here so we have all the time in the world. We can find a way out of here, together"

You weren't expecting to be enveloped in a hug. For a moment you stood there, frozen, confused as to what to do once again but she let you go a little bit too soon, stepping away while still keeping her hands on your shoulders

"I promise, everything will be fine. Your friends can go back, and you can stay here. Make new friends, and maybe even find a lover"

Your expression was the one of disgust when you choked "Mom!"

She laughed "Sorry, I though you were old enough for this but I guess not"

"That's not the bloody point, you don't talk about this with your parents"

She raised an eyebrow and smirked "Why?"

"Because... Just no. It's disgusting"

She laughed softly and stepped away, her hands falling back to her side "Ok I won't force you if you don't want to talk"

You smiled at her, probably for the first time since you got here "Thank you"

She bumped your shoulder and grinned "Is it because there already is someone or-"

"Mom!"

"Ok stopping!" She held her hands up and laughed

Some of the guards behind you exchanged a look and silently joined in with their own head shakes. You rolled your eyes, a slight laugh escaping your lips as well

"But seriously is there anyone or-"

You turned around to glare at her and she sighed sadly

You groaned in frustration since you didn't want to tell her but what can I say, mothers "Fine, there are" she was gonna say something but you held a finger up to stop her "No names"

Her grin didn't falter as she leaned against the window and crossed her arms "I didn't say anything"

"But you were"

"That's controversial"

"Is not"

"Is it more than one person?"

"What makes you say that?"

"You said 'there are' and 'names' so there is more than one person isn't there?"

You groaned "Can we stop talking about this?!"

After a couple beats of now the comfortable silence you spoke, remembering the conversation before "You can help me with my magic?"

She nodded "Of course, I'm your mother after all"

You nodded "Yeah" you said and crossed your arms, letting your mind wonder "But I won't stay"

Her expression was hurt for a moment, her smile slipping away before she composed herself and put her saddened smile back in place "Ok. But if you ever change your decision, I will be here"

You smiled at her words. Maybe this was a new start but there was something about it just...no no you won't leave your people. Nope "Thank you"

"Y/n!" Glimmer yelled in the distance

You heard her fast approaching footsteps as she was in a state of pure panic, her eyes darting around everything at once before she grabbed your arms and forced you to go along with her

"Something is wrong with Bright Moon, we have to go!"

"Bright Moon?" Your mother asked with a slight frown until her expression settled into one of longing before she smiled "Tell Angella I said hi"

You nodded, silently making a promise "I will"

You ran out of the castle after you took Bow along and you gave one last look at your mother before you remembered something

"Wait!" You yelled and ran over to her

"What are you doing!" You ignored the shouting behind you and grabbed your mother by the arm

"How do I heal people?"

She frowned "Why would you-?"

"A friend. Please mom, answer me. Quick"

Your voice was rushed, your breathing swallow as you expected her answer. It felt like years until she finally spoke

"It depends really. What happened?"

"Dark magic, shadows mainly, a sorceress who has tapped into a runestone erased my friends memories. I helped chase the shadows away but she won't wake up"

"I'm sorry but you can't really do anything about it if the shadows aren't still there. Maybe-"

"Y/n! Come on" Glimmer grabbed your arm and waved at your mother "Thanks! Bye!"

Then she teleported you away and back to Bright Moon

Catra POV:

The Horde was winning, pushing them back even further

Thank Etheria Angella allowed her to fight, otherwise they would be doomed already

She extended her claws as five or more soldiers surrounded her. The Horde knew Catra wasn't on their side anymore and she just hoped that they wouldn't force her back to the Fright Zone once this was all over

Suddenly she spotted a black speck in the distance sitting on top of a wave that came crashing to the ground, knocking off the soldiers around her

Mermista stepped down, Sea Hawk standing beside her 

"I still don't like you" she pointed at Catra with her eyes narrowed suspiciously "But we need help so get your ass to work"

Catra grinned and bowed down dramatically "On your service princess"

Mermista groaned and facepalmed before she went away to kick a person on her right. She took out a silver dagger, a sinister grin on her lips as she gave off a battle cry and trusted herself in the battle

Catra shook her head in disbelief, a small smirk sitting on her face. She felt like they would become great friends "I like her"

Adora POV:

Her eyes snapped up at Light Hope

"Light Hope? What are you doing here?"

She wasn't with her...uh friends anymore. She was in the training room at the crystal castle, the blue light insulting against her eyes

"Etheria needs She-Ra, Adora. I will help you wake up"

"Wake up? I'm...dreaming?" She looked around "But everything feels so real..."

"You need to wake up. You need to save Etheria"

Adora paused, confusion settling over her brain. She was dreaming? But this was the best dream she's ever had, the happiest she she felt in a long, long time. She didn't want this to end and waking up...

"And what if I don't want to wake up?"

Light Hope froze, clearly not expecting that answer and repeated in her robotic voice "You need to wake up. You need to save Etheria"

Adora groaned and kicked something on the ground, her hands forming into tight fists "And if I don't?"

"Then all Etheria wil be lost"

Adora sighed. She knew she didn't have a choice. She never did. Whatever she was doing she never had a say in the situation, in her choices. Why would this be any different?

"Fine"

"Initiating awake"

Your POV:

Your eyes widened at the sight in front of you

The princesses...

"Oh hey Y/n!" Perfuma waved and wrapped some of her vines around somebody. He struggled to breath so she loosened them up a little before walking over to you

"You came?!" You couldn't keep the absolute surprise from slipping out of your voice, your eyes wide as you stared at her in disbelief

"Of course, we couldn't leave our friends behind" She smiled warmly and looked behind her back before saying "Sorry. Gotta go take care of some Horde soldiers"

She waved and walked away, leaving you to stare in shock with your mouth ajar but you quickly came back to your senses when a lazer almost bloody killed you

You made a ball magic in your palm and started making it bigger, and bigger in the matter of seconds before crashing it on top of the machine, making the thing explode and knock out the soldiers who were standing near it

You came back to the ground, giving off a battle cry of your own as you blew yet another robot that was about to step over Frosta. She turned around and nodded, her way of saying thanks before making her ice fists appear again

You looked around, taking over the situation. Nobody was dead yet. A few people on the ground from both sides but they were probably just unconscious

You saw Catra fighting off in the distance and took a step towards her, ready to knock her out. To your immense surprise she clawed at one of the robots, taking it out in the matter of seconds by herself

She turned around and you made eye contact with her. Both of you froze for a split second, both of you shocked to see each other again much less on the same side

You averted your eyes and headed for the five bots that were surrounding Bow

You lifted them up in the air and tightened your fists, crashing to the ground. You took them with you and watched as they exploded

You grinned at Bow "Your welcome"

He just smiled and rolled his eyes. You noticed as he immediately ran off towards Glimmer with his arrow in hand

Her grabbed her shoulders and hugged her tightly, in a way when you didn't ever want to let someone go. You wondered what had happened that made him do this

Glimmer pulled away slightly and you leaned against your sword to watch as Bow looked down to her lips, both of their faces redder than tomatoes

You chuckled "Ship confirmed" you mumbled "I SHIP" You yelled before slamming another bot, making the lovebirds awkwardly stepping away from one another

"GO AWAY" you heard a shout behind you

You spotted Kyle, Rogelio and Lonnie off to the side. You gasped when you saw a one of the bots aiming at Scorpia

She ducked the hit but instead it went right for the trio. You flew there quicker than you thought you could and extended your hands, creating a shield around the group while you tried to reassure yourself that they were alive and fine and mainly breathing

"Why are you doing this?" Lonnie asked, obviously in disbelief

"Because no matter what, you are still my friends" You turned to look at them

It broke your heart leaving the Horde. Even if it was filled with more bad memories than there were good, they were the ones that you cherished the most in that fucked up place

And in these memories, it included them too. You were friends after all

You looked back as you heard a loud crash

"I gotta go"

You didn't hear the rest as you flew away from them and crashed into one of the tanks

What you weren't expecting was for an 8 foot tall lady with a sword and a cape to appear in front of you, effortlessly slicing the tank in half

Your eyes widened as you felt like the world had stopped again. What the "Adora?"

She smiled widely as she looked at you and gave you a bone crushing hug. Litterly "I'm so sorry I couldn't get here sooner"

You tried to breath and once Adora finally noticed how you were basically dying she let you down swiftly "Sorry"

You smiled "Whatever, let's just finish this off already"

"Hey Adora, Y/n" The footsteps behind you grew louder and you turned around to see Catra with her staff leaning against her shoulders, her normal smirk back in place

"Catra" Adora growled and narrowed her eyes at the fella, only for you to step between them with your hands raised to try and stop the fight you knew would break trough

"She's on our side"

Adora blinked "What? Since when?! How long was I out?"

"Since the last hour" Catra smirked and took her staff, rolling it between her fingers "Are we just going to be staying here or actually fight out there?"

"We are fighting"

"No we are chatting. Gosh I can't believe we were lossing to you guys"

You rolled your eyes and raised an eyebrow sceptically, calmly even before shouting "Then what the hell are we doing here?!"

She-Ra groaned "I don't knooow, why should I know?"

"Because you're She-ra" Catra deadpanned and crossed her arms

"Guys FOCUS" You shouted and went to put a hand over Adora's sword, only to find it starting to glow a dark blue colour, the same way you apperantly were. You looked around in sheer confusion

"What the fuck?"

"Princess shit"

"Maybe we can get it to work with the others?" You raised an eyebrow to try and emphasis your question. She-Ra nodded to the side and both of you stepped away, going to get the other princess

Adora turned around to look at Catra "You coming?"

"What? No, I'm not a princess" She grimaced, just the thought seemingly giving her a hard time alone

"Then at least stand next to us. Please" She-Ra extended her hand towards Catra and you put a hand on her shoulder, doing the same

Catra stared at your hands before she took them as you pulled her up. Then the rainbow shit happened and the Horde was blown away. Litterly

"Yay, there's a rainbow!"

Pfft lmao I will leave you to guess who said that
Anyways this chapter probably sucked, mostly because I'm tired lately and school is starting soon so that's not good is it?
