They were back home where it was quiet. "I'm never reading that magazine article!" Moses flopped on the couch and moaned.

Legend sat beside him. "Me either. Or watching music news!"

Moses laughed. "No way!"

"What now?"

"I have no idea. I guess I can take you out on our first official date!" Moses smiled. "I have an idea. What are you doing tomorrow afternoon?"

"Going out with you!" Legend smiled.

They curled up on the couch, found a movie and fell asleep in each other's arms while missing the whole movie.

Scott smiled at the couple sleeping on the couch as Miriam made dinner. Scott took several pictures. He found a piece of paper and began writing down lyrics to a new song that just smashed into his brain. He wrote fast and heard the music, the tune.

He found the recorder on his phone and began humming the tune as he walked out to the pool area. He didn't want to wake them. He couldn't wait to give his son this song.

Legend smelled something delicious and felt Moses move. He was lying on Moses on the couch. He was so comfortable but he had been laying there for too long because his hand was asleep.

Moses touched Legend's back gently then slid his hand up to his shoulder and back down. "Something smells good?"

"Ten dollars says it's your mom's cooking!" Legend smiled into Moses' chest.

"I know. Maybe we should move." Moses sighed.

"Go ahead. I already got pictures." Scott was relaxed in the recliner watching them.

"Dad!" Moses glared. "Damn it."

Legend looked up. "Please say you didn't take pictures!"

"Of course I did." Scott smiled like he accomplished something. He pushed a button and the guys phones beeped.

Legend fished his phone out of his pocket as he laid on Moses and opened the link. Him and Moses sleeping on the couch. "Got it!" Legend smiled at Scott.

Moses just laughed. "Okay. Off!" He pushed Legend gently and they both sat up. The phones were put away.

"How was the press conference?" Scott knew the drill. Press conferences could be brutal.

Moses yawned. "Pretty good, I think. So, I came out."

"And he outed me in the process. Your son took down the whole ship!" Legend smiled.

"Did you? I am so proud!" Scott smiled at Moses.

Miriam walked in. "Dinner."

Legend jumped up and hugged Miriam. "You are wonderful!"

Miriam returned the hug. "You better start calling me mom!"

"Mom." Legend smiled. He hadn't used that word in a long time. "It doesn't sound weird." He thought it might feel weird but it didn't. Miriam was his mom. She felt like more of a mom than his biological mom.

Dinner was fantastic. Moses talked about Derek and his rehab and their summer project with Legend. "Oh, Legend. Derek wanted to invite you to...he requested that..." He inhaled.

"Speak boy!" Scott smiled.

Legend chuckled. "Derek wants me to come visit?"

"Yes! We visit him on Tuesday and he wanted you to join. What do you think?" Moses was worried.

Legend nodded. "Sure. If he is sure. He knows?"

Moses nodded. "Everything. I told him that I'm in love. He said he saw it when I began talking about you."

Miriam smiled. "Oh, it's obvious! And sweet."

Moses shifted in his seat and looked at the table.

Legend spoke up. "So, we're going to go out tomorrow. I'm going on my first date." Legend looked proud and wanted to wait to talk with Moses about Derek. Moses needed some down time. He knew that Moses still felt very guilty.

"Me too!" Moses smiled.

"Where are we going?" Legend was very curious about these plans that Moses had.

"It's a secret." Moses leaned into Legend as Legend glared. "You can glare all night, I'm not telling. Let me surprise you and romance you. I'm new at this! Tell me what you think when it's over and I know you will." He loved that Legend always voiced his opinion.

"I will critique it hard!" Legend glared. Their faces were close.

"Okay, we're leaving before clothes begin to fly at the table!" Scott was up and pulled Miriam to him. "Come on, Miriam. Let's have our own night of love!" He kissed his wife, spun her around like they were on a dance floor and danced with her out of the house.

Legend just laughed. "Come on. The Piano room is waiting!"

Moses shook his head. He pulled Legend out to the pool and pushed him in. Legend screamed as he surfaced. "Bastard!"

Moses dropped his clothes and hopped in. "I wanted you in the pool."

Legend wiped his face and slowly removed his clothes. Jeans are tough to remove when they're wet! "I'm not complaining!" They twisted their bodies together and loved each other in the pool.
