Coming Out
(WARNING: attempted death, bullying, offensive statements)
After a week passed, Tyler and Mitch got together. They went to Starbucks, ready to talk about what Mitch had to say. After buying their drinks, they sat down and Tyler smiled softly at the younger male.
"What's up?" Tyler asked kindly, smiling at the sweet sophomore. Mitch looked down, feeling his chest tighten. "You could tell me."
"I d-do-on'-n't-t k-kn-no-ow-w w-wh-ho-o I love," Mitch answered honesty, making Tyler nod his head. The younger boy sighed quietly. "I t-th-hi-nk-k I m-mi-ig-gh-ht be g-ga-ay."
"Oh," Tyler replied, nodding his head slowly. Mitch looked out of the window, feeling his nerves get the best of him. "That's good. Just tell your dads, okay? They'll still love you. You also have Scott so you have nothing to worry about. Your family is so accepting. You are so lucky you have them."
Mitch nodded as he let the smile appear on his face. Tyler's got a point. Mitch then stood up, ready to come out.
"I'm g-ga-ay-y."
Unbeknownst to him, Mark heard the entire conversation. He then tried his best not to laugh out loud as he left Starbucks, feeling success soar through him.
Aww, Mitch is going to get it. Get rest for your life to be in shambles, Olusola.

"Dad, Papa," Mitch called, catching his parents' attention. They both nodded as they directed their attention to their son. "T-th-hi-is is v-ve-er-ry h-ha-ar-rd for me to s-sa-ay."
"What is it?" Avi asked kindly, looking up at his son. Mitch let out a deep breath, feeling anxious. "Is it bad?"
"No," Mitch answered, shaking his head. He then looked down at the ground. "I-it-t's-s m-mo-or-re-e p-pe-er-son-nal-l."
"Oh?" Kevin asked, nodding his head. Mitch didn't look up. "You could tell us, son."
"I'm g-ga-ay-y," Mitch admitted finally, feeling every little piece of nervousness leave his body. "A-ar-re-e you g-gu-uy-ys mad?"
"Of course not," Avi answered, standing up and hugging his son. Mitch smiled as he felt the acceptance he received from his parents. "If anything, I'm proud of you. You should never feel like you shouldn't tell us anything."
"I agree," Kevin spoke up, getting up and hugged Mitch too. "We love you always."

Scott paced back and forth, nodding his head. Alex watched him, tilting his head when he noticed a piece of paper on his refrigerator. He must have put it up there whilst cleaning. He got it and opened it, still watching his boyfriend.
"You are?" Scott asked, has smile growing. He laughed out loudly. "Mitch, that's amazing! I'm so proud of you!"
Alex then directed his view back to the paper, reading through it quickly. The date was the day Kevin left, when Scott was still a tenth grader. The words struck fear in Alex and he suddenly felt dizzy. He felt his legs collapse and fell hard onto the ground, making Scott gasp.
"Mitch, I got to go," Scott talked back fast, saying goodbye and hanging up his phone. He went up to Alex, his breathing increasing. "Alex? Stay with me. You collapsed."
The last thing Alex heard was Scott calling the police and he met darkness.
~~~
Mitch walked into the high school, not noticing his surroundings. Last night, Alex fainted and received a concussion. Scott rushed to the hospital and got Alex there right in time, making everyone grateful. For some reason though, Mitch felt nervous. Something wasn't right.
"Yo, Mitchell," a student yelled, grabbing Mitch's attention. What came out of his mouth made Mitch freeze in fear. "How may boyfriends have you had in the last month?!"
Mitch then ignored the comment, ignoring everyone's snide remarks as he passed them. He could feel himself tear up as he went into the cafeteria and wanted to disappear. Someone noticed and pointed at him and yelled:
"Hey! It's Mitchell Coby Michael "I like it up my butt" Olusola!"
Everyone around them laughed, making Mitch breathe heavily. He let the tears escape. He then squealed when someone pushed themselves into his back. He turned around to see Mark smirking at him evilly.
"Make sure you keep your conversations quiet," Mark suggested, patting Mitch's head. He then grabbed his backpack, laughing heavily. "You want to wear this. It'll add to your gayness."
A pink crown with feathers on it( Mitch personally loved the color pink) and superglue was taken out and Mitch tried to back off, but someone caught him. It was Matthew, who was smirking at him, kept him captive. The bully then shoved Mitch's head toward Mark and the sophomore felt the superglue get put on his head. Mitch tried to scream, but nothing came out. The crown was then put onto Mitch and Matthew managed to put fairy wings on him.
"Awww, it's Fairy Olusola," Matthew called out, pointing at Mitch. The sophomore cried harder when everyone laughed at him. "Awww, he's crying! Maybe his tears will cure him of his gayness!"
"That's enough," a blond boy with glasses commanded, walking up to the emotional sophomore. Mitch felt protective of him for some reason. "Seriously, we're in high school. Last time I checked, you're in eleventh grade, not the actual age of eleven. Get over yourself, Matthew."
Matthew rolled his eyes as he pushed into Mitch's savior. The bell rang, making the students get ready for their first class. Mitch was about to say thank you to whoever was nice to him but couldn't see him. He then frowned and walked up to the office, wanting to go home.
~~~
"This is going to hurt," Avi warned, quickly pulling out the crown. Mitch let out a hiss, pain erupting through his head. Avi then cut off the straps of the wings Mitch was wearing and threw away quickly. "I'm so sorry, kiddo."
Mitch shrugged his shoulders, feeling scared to go to school tomorrow. What happens if they try to pick on him again?
He's scared again.
~~~
Carson and Charlotte laughed as they walked into Alex's hospital room. The Kirk son is currently asleep, not noticing the world around him.
"Grab the pillow," Carson demanded. Charlotte did what she was told and tried to not laugh loudly. "Goodbye, son."
And he shoved the pillow onto Alex's face, making his son struggle. The heart monitor went crazy. The heart monitor made a continuous sound and Alex stopped moving. Carson and Charlotte then cheered quietly until the door was being opened. Carson grabbed the pillow and brother and sister, being thankful for the balcony. A gasp and a sob was heard. Carson realized that it was Scott.
"Doctor," Scott yelled, tears ruining his speech. Somebody ran into the room, breathing heavily. "He's...he's dead!"
"Oh, shoot," the doctor whispered harshly, issuing for a code blue. He then pushed Scott out of the room and the tall blonde agreed, not fighting back once. More footsteps came in. Carson cursed to himself. Stupid kid. "Use a defibrillator!"
After a few tries, Alex was brought to life. He let out a deep breath and Scott quickly ran in, embracing his boyfriend. They shared a kiss and Charlotte growled angrily.
"What do we do now?" she asked, shaking her head. Carson then looked at her, smirking.
"We wait.
