Thought Two
Let me start off with....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
That's pretty much what my brain looks like on a daily basis, smh.
Anyway, this is about group projects. Ah, group projects. You encourage students to work together yet one student is too lazy to get out of their seat, the other is goofing off and not doing any work, another one is saying that everything is done when in reality we haven't even started yet, there's that one that's always 'sick', and there is the one who ends up doing all the work. Guess who I am? Guess!
Don't know? I'll tell you then...
THE ONE WHO DOES ALL THE WORK!
I always get stuck with the most or all of the work and it sucks. It also sucks when you miss a couple points or you get an average grade, but your group blames it on you!
It's like, "IF YOU GOT OFF YOUR BIG BUTTS THAT EVEN SIR MIX A LOT DOESN'T LIKE, THEN WE COULD HAVE HAD A BETTER GRADE!"
For example, an ex-friend of mine and I worked on an English project all night because it was due the next day. Of course, she broke up with her boyfriend that night and was upset so I volunteered to do most of the work if she was too upset to do it.
It was in that moment when Maddie knew that screwed she screwed up.
I did the typing, the gluing, the letters that went on the poster board, and pretty much everything else. What did she do?!
Cut papers...that's all she did.
We turned the project in the next day and all was well. Two weeks passed and we found out the score. It was 48 out of 50, which isn't bad but being a perfectionist, I felt like we deserved the whole 50. I told her and do you know what she said to me?!
"We could've gotten a 50 if it weren't for those two words that you misspelled!"
HOLD THE PHONE, GIRLFRIEND! I WORKED MY BUTT OFF ON THAT PROJECT! NOT TO MENTION THAT MY MOM BOUGHT EVERYTHING FOR THAT PROJECT! YOU ARE LAZY, GORLT!
At first, I took it as a joke and I was like 'lol', but then I realized that she blamed it on me. I got mad and stopped talking to her and some more personal stuff happened, including the end of our friendship.
*sigh*
Man, junior year Maddie was emotional.xD She is still emotional as a senior, lol. Let's hope that changes when I go to college.
