"LEAH!!!!," said Becky as soon as she was in the break room. Leah jumps as she had her back to the door and didn't see Becky come in.
Leah spun to face Becky "What?"
" I kissed Colby! "
Leah's eyes widen in surprise "You what?!"
" I kissed Colby, "said Becky as she slumped into a chair.
" On the mouth?! " said Leah sitting next to Becky.
"No on the cheek," said Becky "I cut my finger and he helped me fix it. Before I knew what was doing I kissed his cheek."
Leah giggles "The way you made it sound you like kissed him kissed him."
" We almost did, "said Becky.
Leah's mouth drops open "You what?!"
" We were this close"said Becky holding her fingers apart by a millimeter "But then I panicked and ducked around him with the excuse of having to tell Windham about my cut."
" Bex!You like him face it and he seems to like you. So why not go for it?"shrugged Leah.
"You know how my relationship with Jeff ended."
"Bad," frowns Leah "But Bex not every guy is  a horse's ass like Jeff is either."
" I'm good at being single, "said Becky standing with a shake of the head.
" Bex! "said Leah taking Becky 's hand "It's time to give love a chance again."
Becky sighs and shakes her head and removed her hand from Leah's.
Leah sighs as she watched Becky leave the break room.
Gionna had arrived and had the entire conversation.
"Damn," said Gionna making Leah jump again.
"Is this scare the shit out of Leah Day?" said Leah.
" Sorry, "said Gionna opening her locker "Jeff really fucked that poor girl up."
Leah nodded "Jeff left her in pieces."
Gionna shook her head as she put her shirt over her white tank top and tied it around her waist .
"I feel so bad," said Gionna as she sat to put on her boots "They are perfect for each other and due to Bex's heart being shattered by that asshole she won't give a great guy a chance."
"I know," said Leah pulling her hair into a bun "The sparks that flew between them on Tuesday was noticeable to everyone in that damn room."
Becky goes back out to the bar area as the band is doing sound check. Tay is currently singing All This Time by Reba McEntire.
Becky moves effortlessly behind the bar as Colby watches her his heart ached to watch her. He wanted her but he could tell she had her walls up and no matter how long long it took to break them down. He was going to do it.
Becky glanced up at the band and at Colby who has his back towards her. Maybe Leah was right maybe it was time to let someone in behind the walls she had built up but what Becky wasn't sure about was Colby the one she was going to let in.
