"Come on Leah!! Wilmmmma!!! "  said Becky banging on Leah's bedroom door.
" I'm coming, "said Leah opening up her door laughing "Don't get your panties into a twist."
Leah smirks at Becky. Becky just laughs and shakes her head.
"One of these days girl I will just walk in a drag your sorry arse out of the fucking bed,"  said Becky as she shrugged on her leather coat.
Leah laughs "You'd never ever do that."
" Really? "said Becky with a smirk "What makes you say that?"
"You love me too much," smiled Leah.
"Not when you make us late for work," said Becky as she locked up.
"Oh come on Bex," said Leah popping a stick of gum into her mouth "Wyatt's isn't that far away. Besides Windham loves us!"
Becky rolled her eye as she climbed into her Silver 2019 Honda Pilot.Leah got into the passenger side.
"Leah when the hell are you going to learn! I don't like being late not even if it's one or two minutes," said Becky starting the car.
Leah frowns "You are such a stick in the mud," said Leah.
Becky laughed threw her nose "Leah you are my best friend but you are so damn fucking annoying at times."
Leah smirks "And you're perfect?!"
" Duh, "said Becky.
Becky smirks at Leah and both women dissolved into laughter.
"You're a dork Bex," laughed Leah "But I love ya."
"Love ya too," smiled Becky as she pulled into Wyatt's parking lot and behind the building where the employees parked.
"I wonder who we have playing tonight," said Leah checking her makeup in the mirror on the sun visor.
"Midnight Wolf," said Becky "I booked them. Heard their demo and I told Windham. He had me book em.Talked to their manager Thea. Sweet girl."
" Hmmm Midnight Wolf never heard of em"said Leah as both women walked into the employees entrance and to the break room where the employees lockers are.
"If they are anything like their demo they are amazing!" said Becky putting her jacket and purse into her locker and pulling out her apron.
"Cool," said Leah "As long as they're good. Can't go another week listening to Day Dream. Leah rolled her eyes.Becky had to admit Day Dream sucked. They couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.
" True, "said Becky "They gave me a headache."
Leah laughed as she tied her apron around her waist as Gionna Daddio another waitress at Wyatt's enters and Nicole Garcia-Colace the other waitress at Wyatt's followed closely behind.
"Hey girls," smiled Gionna opening her locker.
"Hey G," said Becky and Leah.
"Becky!!" said Windham coming into the locker room.
"Yeah boss?" said Becky.
"Thea Budgen is here and since you worked with her I want you there and maybe we can make you a booker for Wyatt's too."
" What?Really?! I thought you exclusively did that," said Becky.
"Well if tonight goes well we might change that," said Windham "Follow me. -"
Becky follows Windham out towards his office.
"-Thea this is Becky.She is the one you have been dealing with,"said Windham as he jesters to Becky.
" Hi, "smiled Becky as Thea stood and extended her hand.
" Hi Becky, "smiled Thea shaking Becky's hand.
" Please have a seat, "said Becky as she leaned against a small bookshelf in Windham's office "So like Windham said you've been dealing with me. I heard a demo of yours thanks to a friend of my brother's. I loved the music and well I brought it here and."
" I loved it, "said Windham sitting back in his chair "So I had Becky book you. If you do good we could easily discuss maybe a weekly gig here. We will see how tonight goes. If you get asses in the chairs and money coming in we will talk. But tonight you have two sets."
" Ok, "said Thea "They are moving the equipment in now," Thea stood and shook both Becky and Windham's hands "I promise you Mr. Rotunda that you won't be disappointed."
" I better not be, "said Windham.
Thea excuses herself to go help with set up.
" Windham, "said Becky once Thea closed the door "Did you mean what you said back in the break room?"
" About? " said Windham raising an eyebrow.
"Me booking bands," said Becky.
"Yes," said Windham putting his elbows on his desk "But the same implies for you. Like I told Thea it depends how tonight goes. Now go get ready for the night."
Becky nods and leaves. Little does Becky know her life was about to change.
Becky joins her friends in the break room and waiting to get the night started.
"Bex I hear you're the one that booked tonight's band," said Nicole pulling her hair back into a ponytail.
"Yeah," said Becky "I did and I apologize now if you think they suck."
