The wake up call woke me up

As I closed the door of the 'mad race
Hundreds of brighter and awesome ones opened,
And still new ones are opening,
As I go looking for them.

Just never knew
There was so much to life,
When you just try to open your eyes and escape from the race of foolishness

But there are consequences to everything we do
And so are coming the noises of the ones who still run in the race

Still mocking, doubting, shouting and oh, what not

Then I turn to people who have already become what I want to be.
And they are an infinite well of ever lasting inspiration

They just seem to stand out among all the rest,
And shine out with their bright wisdom and experience
And motivate us to stand up again and

Encourage us to
believe in ourself.
