Unaware of the events transpiring with his friends Terra had finally knocked Master Xehanort to the floor. Breathing heavily Xehanort noticed a beam of light behind Terra coming from down below, "There, you see?"

Hesitant to turn around thinking it might be a trick, Terra slowly peeked over his shoulder and was shocked by the large beam of light.

"The X-Blade has been forged!" smiled Xehanort.

"Ven!" cried Terra feeling helpless to save him.

"And now, Terra, it is time for the final union!" said Xehanort as he raised his keyblade to his heart.

"What?" asked Terra, as Xehanort pierced his heart.

"At last our moment is here," said Xehanort, "Out with the old and brittle vessel, and in with a younger, stronger new one! I swore I would survive and be there to see what awaited beyond the Keyblade War! And now it is your darkness that shall be the ark that sustains me!"

As Xehanort launched his heart at Terra, Terra quickly guarded himself to defend. Xehanort smiled as he faded away leaving an armored Terra alone. Terra then took off his armor and threw away his keyblade, revealing his normally brown hair had turned white.

"This heart belongs again to darkness," said the new Terra, "All worlds begin in darkness and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it--it grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came."

As the new Terra consumed by darkness began to walk away, he suddenly was trapped by a dome of orange and golden chains.

"What?" asked the new Terra, he then turned around to find the armor he had taken off had reassembled. Not only that, but it also held his keyblade as the armor stood up to fight, "Your body submits, your heart succumbs so why does your mind resist!?"

"Because it's the one thing that can still fight," said a voice surprising both men. Suddenly a flash of light appeared above them and when it faded a brown haired girl with glowing golden eyes stared down at them.

"You!" growled the new Terra, Terranort.

"Deli?" asked the armor, confused, "How are you here?"

"I'm here to help you fight," said Deli, as she descended down to the armor's side, "The light inside you called out to me."

"Hmph, it matters not," said Terranort, "In the end you both will fall."

Terranort then fired bolts of darkness at them. Deli quickly summoned her shields blocking the attack, as dust-covered them. Terra Armor leaped out from the dust cloud to charging at Terranort, as his armor began to glow. Terra repeatedly hit Terranort from multiple directions but appeared above him. Just before Terra struck down, Terranort was sucked into the ground using his darkness. Terra looked around for him, but it was too late as Terranort appeared under his feet knocking him back. Terranort then summoned a large hand of darkness to grab Terra, as the hand slowly began to squeeze him.

"Terra!" Deli screamed as she bolted like a streak of lightning through the arm of the darkness hand, making it disappear. Terranort was knocked back by the force, Deli wasn't going to give him time to recover. Deli charged for him, swinging her shield at him, Terranort suddenly began to glow with darkness covering him. Deli was immediately pushed back by the force before she could make her next move, Terranort appeared in front of her. Terranort began to strike her multiple times with his keyblade. Deli cried out in pain as she was hit with each blow, before collapsing to the ground.

"You're meddling has delayed me for the last time," said Terranort, raising his keyblade over her, "Your time is done!"

Just as Terranort went to strike, Terra appeared blocking the strike with his own keyblade. The two were in a stalemate, as the two struggled to push back the other.

"You will not hurt her," growled the armor, "You will not hurt my friends!"

"Terra," Deli weakly called as she reached her hand out to him, "Use my power!"

Deli's body began to glow as her energy poured into Terra. Terra's strength increased as Deli's power continued to strengthen him. Terranort was unable to hold back the combined power as Terra struck at him, making Terranort collapse to the ground. Terra looked down at the unconscious Terranort, making sure he wasn't going to get back up. That's when he remembered, "Deli."

Terra rushed over to Deli who was struggling to stand, "Don't worry, I'll be fine. Is he down?"

"Yeah, we got him," nodded Terra.

"This is only the first battle," Deli explained, as her body began to glow, she embraced Terra, "Until you can free your heart and body from Xehanort this cycle will continue. You must keep fighting, Terra."

"Deli what's--" Terra started to ask as Deli's body was engulfed in light, the light then shrank into a floating ball of light that moved into where Terra's heart would be.

"My light will stay with you, Terra," said Deli as her voice rang in his head, "I will be with you to help you fight, just as you have done for me all this time. Never give up."

As the fight came to a close, a large dome of light began to expand and engulf everything around it. As the dome grew closer Terra's memories of Ven, Aqua and Deli began to play through in his mind. Terra's Lingering Will, knelt down at the top of the mountain, keyblade in the ground.

"Aqua, Ven, Deli," said Terra, "One day I will set this right."
