Okay, that was weird. I thought to myself as I walked towards the gang.

"What happened?" Evie asked.

"You guys know how I felt that quick burst of energy that I feel whenever I'm next to Ben?" I asked.

"Yeah. Did you feel it again?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah. Then I lost it again. I stood there thinking about what to do next when this guy ran into me. He asked me if I was okay, and I kinda freaked." I said, giving the short version.

"Do you think the spell's wearing off?" Jay asked.

"No clue. He was the only one who saw me. Do you think we'll ever find him?" I asked.

"Of course. All we need is a little hope." Evie said, lifting my spirits.

Let me explain for, well, everyone, because you don't know what's going on.

You see, Ben's gone missing. His parents can't find him anywhere. I got a dream that said that he was here, in a place called Magic Kingdom. I just got a lead on him for the first time in weeks and boom! It's gone.

We continued walking when I felt the feeling again and ran into a girl with blonde hair and storm gray eyes. Why do I keep walking into people?

"Oh! I'm sorry! Let me help you up." The girl said grabbing my hand.

"You can see me to?" I asked. Then walked away frustrated.

"It happened again, didn't it?" Evie asked.

"Gee, what do you think? I'm strengthening the spell." I said, getting out my spell book.

"Okay everyone. You know the drill." Jay said as everyone touched my shoulder.

"Beware forswear, make us invisible to everybody out there." I said as I felt the spell strengthen. Then we heard a gasp.

I turned around and saw the same girl I just ran into. Then she ran away.

I ran after her, catching up quickly. I tackled her and immediately felt water spread over my body. When the water cleared, I saw the girl and 5 other teens standing over me. One boy had bronze tipped arrows pointed at me. I had the nerve to laugh.

"What are you laughing at?" One boy asked. He had sea green eyes and jet black hair.

"Bronze, really? You guys really don't know how to handle fairies, do you?"

"What?" One girl asked. She had choppy brown hair with ever changing eyes.

"I'm a fairy. The weakness of fairies is iron you idiots!" I said. At that moment is when my friends decided to come.

"Why are you wet?" Carlos asked.

"Gee Carlos, let me think. Maybe because I had water dumped on my head!" I screamed.

"Hey Mal, chill." Jay said, then looked at the new people. "Sorry if she was troubling you. Her boyfriend has gone missing so she's a bit paranoid."

I threw a green fireball at Jay. He stepped out of the way.

"Why did you do that?" He asked.

"Because I'm not paranoid!" I screamed.

"You're looking for someone to?" The blonde haired girl asked.

"Who are you looking for?" I asked.

"Our friend, Leo. He died with the help of some people." The blonde boy said, looking at the African American girl and the Chinese kid. "And we have new information that he's alive and hiding at Magic Kingdom. So who are you looking for?"

"My boyfriend, Ben. He went missing a couple of weeks ago and it is very important that we find him. You guys wouldn't understand."

"I'm guessing that he's important to you." The African American girl asked.

"And an entire country." I muttered.

"What?" The Chinese boy asked, even though he was the closest to me.

"Nothing. Well, since we're going to be seeing a lot of each other, may as well introduce ourselves. I'm Mal, and the people behind me are Evie, Jay, and Carlos."

"Well, Nice to meet you Mal. I'm Annabeth, and the people behind me are Frank, Hazel, Piper, Jason, and my boyfriend Percy."

This is the spark of a friendship.
