My, what it must feel like to be in love!
They say the world stops moving,
if only for a millisecond,
when even the slightest bit of skin brushes against one another,
or you meet his eyes suddenly.

Kisses seem eternal if it is shared with the one you love, I have heard.
I bet it feels like reading a good book,
watching a particularly espectacular movie,
or hearing an incredible song.
You know that feeling?
Your heart skips a beat when you hear the opening chords,
and you know in your soul you are about to feel weightless.

I can just imagine laying down next to him.
The rhythm of his heartbeat comforting,
and I will know in that moment that it beats for me.
The deep and the weird reach the surface,
sitting in pensive silence absorbing what each of us say,
and then bursting out in laughter when we realize it does not make any semblance of sense.

I know it will not always be pink skies and cozy nights.
We will have disagreements,
and go through hardships that will threaten to crush what we built.
But we will rise above it,
and come out victorious,
our bond stronger than it was before.
And it will be glorious because we did it together.
