7 years later.......

Ali's POV

Today is my first day of high school. Am I scared? No. Do I care? No. Im staring as a junior. Jasper, Shay, and Edmund are seniors, Pix is a junior as well. My photographic memory is very helpful since I was a child.

When I first came here they gave me all the textbooks used in school from 6th through college. I basically know more then any college profeser. I want to try going to school because I am terribly bored so why not?

I walked to my closet and picked out a black dress with roses all around it. I made it myself and I love it has gray laces all around the dress, it had a bow with a royal blue rose sewed into it. I put it on and walked to my full length mirror. I had long jet black hair and my eyes are blue and they match my rose. My hair is just below my waist and I have a clear, smooth face.

The fact that my body shows perfection is an imperfection to me. The dress came down mid thigh and I but the bow on. I turned my head and saw Alex on my bed. She was wearing the same thing as me but her dress is white and her rose is red.

I grabbed my battered bunny backpack I've had since I was 5 years old. I put my blood packets into my bunny and put it on. It is basically a packet and inside it has dried blood in it. I put it in water and it turns it into blood but people think its crystal light or hawiian punch. My thirst has been happening more often now so I have to be careful.

I walked downstairs. My parents (Sophia and John, who I have started calling mom and dad recently.) were wacthing T.V. Dad doesn't go to work untill 8 o'clock at night so he has a lot of time untill he goes to work. They got up when they saw me.

'Hope you have fun at school sweetie.'

'I will mom' I said and smiled at her. My dad gave me a hug and I hugged him back, I already got use to their ice cold skin.

Ashley, Ian, and Shadow started on the first day of school I'm starting in the middle of the school year.

I walked out the door and walked outside. The sky looked like it was threatening to rain so I ran to school. My vampire speed has been increasing so it took like two minutes to get to school. I slowed down when I reached the school.

I stayed in the woods by the school. The bell rang and everyone rushed inside. When everyone was gone I walked to front office.

'Hi I'm here to pick up my schedule.' I said to the old women in front of me. She smiled at me and nodded. She pulled out a paper and handed it to me. I raises my eyebrow.

'We don't get many new kids in the middle of the school year so it's easy to remember who's coming.' she said to me smiling. I smiled back and thanked her.

I walked to my locker I was assigned to and opened it and grabbed my textbook and walked to my class, which is... I looked at my paper. World history. Sounds fun. I walked to my class and opened the door.

Everyones head snapped up to my direction. I walked up to the teacher and gave her my note and walked to the back of the class to the very last seat.

Everyones eyes followed me. The teacher spoke first.

'Class this is Alice' she said. Good she read the note. The note said not to say my last name. I want it that way so I can see everyones expression when they find out I'm the sister of Pix, Jasper, Shay, and Edmund.

I nodded and she continued the lesson. When the bell finally rang I was the first one to leave. I walked to my locker ignoring the lustful stares of boys and the evil glares of girls. I opened my locker and grabbed my notebook and my sketch book.

Next up, Math. I walked in the room and took a seat way in the back. I pulled out my sketch book and started drawing. I was halfway done when I was interrupted.

'Alice would you like to answer this equation instead of scribbling on paper?' he said.

'Its called drawing and of course Mr. Dawnson.' I got up and walked to the board. I looked at the equation and rolled my eyes. The equation was so easy to solve I didn't even need to work it out. Thank you vampire memory!

I wrote four and looked at the teacher. His face was cold.

'Can you explain how you got that answer Alice.' he said threw clenched teeth. I smiled and turned to the class.

'the answer is simple you always add the two equations and subtract four and you always get the right answer.' I said. Everyone looked at me stunned and I walked back to my seat.

'Alice please give me the doll on your back please. This is high school not kindergarden.' the teacher said.

'It is a backpack please get that right sir.' I said threw clenched teeth.

'Well give it to so I can confinscate it.'

'no.' I said and continued drawing.

'Bring it here now.' he said again.

'how about this you give me the hardest math problem you can think of. If I get it right you leave my backpack alone and do no homework for the rest of the week. If get it wrong you can confinscate my backpack and double the homework assignment.' he thought about before finally agreeing.

He wrote down the problem and almost laughed. It was almost as easy as 1+1=2. I decided to act like I didn't know the answer and he smiled evilly.

I walked to the board and wrote out the entire answer and looked at the teacher smug. His face turned red and he wrote no homework for the rest of the week.

'Alice go to the principals office.' he said. I got my stuff and walked out the door to the principals office. I opened the door as he got off the phone.

'Take a seat' he said gesturing to the seat on the other side of his desk.

I sat down and looked at him. He looked pretty young to be a principal. He looked like he was in his late 20s.

'Alice I need to confinscate your backpack'

'i'm sorry but I can't do that.' I said simply.

'why is that?'

'This backpack is to hold my medication in it'

'Medication is to be held by the schools nurse'

I need to have my medication with me at all time. My body does not produce enough blood so when my blood is low I need to inject blood into my system. If I'm in class and I need blood at that instant I won't be close enough or strong enough to get to the nurses office. By the time the nurse comes I will already be in a coma from too little blood.'

He looked at me stunned.

'well why not get another backpack?' he asked.

'this backpack I have is the right size for my medication it is big enough to hold my medication but small enough to keep it in place without spilling.'

'May I see your medication and a note from the doctor please.' I pulled out a note my dad wrote the night before explaining my backpack and my "health" issue.

I gave him the note and pulled out four shots with blood in it and four needles on the side. The principal looked like he was about to pass out. He nodded his head and I put everything away.

'You may keep your bag and later today I'll explain to the teachers about you backpack and your medication. You may go back to class now and please tell your teacher to see me after school.' I smiled at him and walked back to my math class.

I opened the door and smiled wickedly at the teacher.

'Mr. Dawnson the principal said I can keep my backpack and he said he wants to see you after school.' I said loud enough for the whole class to hear. The whole class said "oohh" and the color of his face drained. The bell rang and I walked out of class.

I walked to my locker and turned around and saw like twenty guys crowding me. Just then Shadow came into view and saw me. I mouthed the word help and he walked up to the group of boys.

They cleared the way and Shadow walked through the path. I smiled at him. His name in school is called Shane yet some how people still call him Shadow as a nickname.

'Shadow it's so good to see you.' I said as he gave me a hug. The entire hallway was quiet and all eyes were on us. Ian popped up and gave me a hug as Shadow let go.

'Ali!' he said as his hug became tighter.

'Ian.. can't... breathe.. let go' I barley said but he let me go and I was wrapped into another hug.

'Hey Ash.' I said while hugging her back.

She let go and smiled at me. The bell rang and everyone started to move again but they were still staring at me and whispering like crazy.

I grabbed Ashley's hand and walked to music class. We had the same scudual for the rest of the day. We walked into class with Ian and Shadow behind us. We all sat on the chairs in the back of the classroom.

'Okay class today we are getting into groups and preforming as a band. Would anyone like to go first?' ms. Kate asked.

I raised my hand and everyone stared at me shocked. Ian, Ash, and shadow stood up and followed mr to the front of the classroom. Ian went to the drums, Ashley picked the bass guitar and Shadow picked the electric guitar, and I picked up the microphone and another electric guitar.

-All around me?- Ian, Shadow, and Ashly asked in my head. I nodded my head. I wrote this song not to long ago. I wrote this song for my parents, I wrote it when I vistited my parents grave last week.

The whole class applauded and I put the guitar down, singing always made me feel calm. I sat down in my seat and a few others sang after us. The bell rang and I went to my next class.

Shadow's POV

I walked to my next class but noticed a crowd of boys around something, I saw Alice and she looked at me and mouthed the word 'help'. I walked towards the crowd and the guys made a path. They know not to mess with me and they stay far away from me. She smiled at me.

'Shadow it's so good to see you.' she said as I gave her a hug. The entire hallway was quiet and all eyes were on us. Ian popped up and gave her a hug as I let go.

Ian went next then Ash. Alice grabbed Ashley's hand and we all walked to music class. We played a song and when the bell rang I walked up to Alice.

'Hey Shadow.' she said and she smiled at me. I smiled back at her.

'Ready to go to lunch?'

'Yup' she said walking out.

'Alice can you come here really quick Ms.Kate called out. Alice nodded her head and looked at me.

'I know where the lunchroom is I'll be right there.' I nodded my head and went to the lunch room. I walked the table I always sit in. Ian sat next to me and Ashley sat next to him. Jasper, Pix, Shay, and Edmund sat down too. The tables only have six chairs so we pulled another one for Alice.

The teachers don't really care as long as you put the chairs back when your done. Alice walked in and the whole lunch room got quiet. She looked at me and smiled. We already knew what was going to happen, we went over this the night before.

Jasper stood up and Alice ran to him and hugged him. He picked her up and smiled.

'Alice! How's my little sister doing?' He said loudly. He put her down and hugged Pix and Shay. Edmund hugged her and smiled. Edmund picked her up and turned to look at everyone.

'Listen up, anyone who messes with our little sister is going to pay the price understand.' He said in a serious tone. Everyone looked so pale it was hilarious even the teachers were pale.

'Edmund stop scaring them you know very well I can defend myself.' She said.

'I know but you know you won't be able to control yourself if your set for the kill so we will have to do it for you.' He said and Alice pouted. Everyones face in the luch room drained. Edmund put her down and she started eating her food Ashley got her.

Everyone was started talked after a few minutes and I looked at Alice. Our plan went smoothly now know one will mess with Alice.

Alice's POV

That was hilarious what happened at lunch everyone looked so scared I was afraid I was going me mess up on my part. We had planned the whole thing last night and today showed the sucess. I walked to my final class of the day. I had boxing class.

I got dressed into my black sorts and black shirt. I walked in the class and all the boys stared at me wide eyes. I walked up to my teacher he looked at me and chose a huge guy. The guy looked at me with lust and it disgusted me and got me mad.

I walked into the ring and the class was watching us.

'I'm not going hurt a little girl like you' he said smirking at me.

'Good then when I kick your ass everyone will laugh and point at you.' I said smiling when his smirk left his face. The bell rang and he charged at me. I punched him in the face, and kicked him in the stomache. He went down but got back up clearly mad. I smiled and his face turned red. He tried to punch me but I blocked. My vampire strength and speed has been increasing lately.

I kicked him where the sun don't shine and he fell down. I smirked at him and looked at all the guys that were watching, which was everyone. No one said a thing so I jumped out of the ring and smirked at everyone. The coach was stunned and went to help my opponent. I changed since no one else would challenge me.

'Can I walk around' I asked the coach and he nodded and I left the class. I walked outside and took off my shoes. I ran and did a couple of flips and cartwheels and heard the bell rang. I grabbed my shoes and eveyone was looking at me. I was getting fed up with everyone staring at me.

'Can I help you?' I said really loud and everyone looked away. I walked to Jasper's car.

'Ready to go home' he asked me.

'Yes' I said and walked towards the woods. Ian, Shadow, and Ashley were waiting for me.

'What did Ms. Kate want?' Shadow asked.

'We are now officialy a band so we have some gigs already in place.'

'WHAT!?' they all yelled at the same time.

'Some guy wanted us to preform at a beach not to far from here and I said yes.'

'What is our band name?' Ash asked all excited. I thought about it.

'Lost Angels'

'I love it! when do we preform?'

'Tonight' I said turing my head.

'WHAT!?' they all yelled again. I think I just lost an eardrum.

Seth's POV

'Dude we got to get ready for the concert tonight!' Kent said. I got up and changed into random clothes.

'Are you ready yet?'

'Yes, what are we doing again?' I asked Kent. I have been pretty out of it lately. I don't know why but I have a feeling something is going to happen tonight.

'We are going to the beach to listen to our favorite bands!'

'Okay, I'm reay lets go.' I said while getting up.

'Seth you have issues.'

'Shut up' I mumbled walking out the door. I don't know why but I'm staring to feel anxious. I wonder why?
