So it is about 1:25 AM and I'm super tired I had to do conditioning for soccer and I nearly died. ): sad isn't it? I didn't want to upload a chapter but I'm a girl and I change my mind! (; so hope you like! I found out I went up on the hot list then go down and that sux to make it worse I have to do conditioning again Tuesday, wednesday, and Friday next week! D: Wish me luck!! :)

Chapter 11

Seth's POV

After I saw Alice at my school I was completely shocked. My mom was probably told me that, I don't know. I got follow Alice. She bumped into the meanest girls in school who loved to date all boys in our grade and older. Sluts in training, is what Layla told me they're going to be.

Layla bumped right into May, she has blonde hair and try to act like everyone should bow down and worship her and her sister June. June has brown hair and hazel eyes, she is very defendant of her sister they love to mess with boys, they tried to get to me but I saw right through their act.

'Watch where you're going!' May yelled at her. Yes their twins but their born on different days. May was born May 31 her sister June was born June 1. May was older but apparently by a couple minutes. Its funny that they're named after the month they were born but they hate it.

'You could have hurt us' June yelled.

'Don't your parents teach you any manners?!' May yelled. I saw Alice twitch, I knew they touched a nerve when they said parents.

'Sorry' Alice mumbled.

'Your parents must be so disappointed to have a UGLY, unmannered daughter like you.' May spat at Alice. I saw Alice clench her fist.

'Your parents probably gonna kill themselves knowing they gave birth to an abomination!' yelled May. I saw Alice close her eyes, she started to shake. People had already started watching what was happening.

May and June started laughing at Alice. I started getting mad, my dad told me Alice had watched her parents died. Even if they knew they would have said worse I'm sure.

Alice slapped May and June right across their face, and DANG! You could probably hear that outside the school and the echo of the hallway made it echo through the entire school! Their faces grew red and I knew they were angry. They both got up.

'We're both black belts in karate and you dare hit us?!' They yelled together. Alice laughed out loud though it held no emotion.

'You both sound like the Siamese twins from lady and the tramp! Looks like your personalities match it too.' She shot back at them. Everyone laughed at that but not loud enough where May and June can hear.

I saw them both start to throw a punch and Alice easily dodged it. I was shocked! How could she dodge it so easily?

'You sure you girls are black belts or did your family buy that?' Alice yelled at them. She \ kept dodging their kicks and punches. It looked like Alice was dancing. Mr. Fen pulled May and June he was my history teacher and was pretty cool if he wasn't mad. Everyone could sense his anger.

Alice turned and walked out the double doors I followed her to see if she was okay. When she got outside she ran and I ran after her. I'm the fastest person in the school but man did she make me run! I had to catch up to her I don't know why but I do.

She was just in reach, she was getting faster so this would be my only chance.

'ALICE!' I yelled as I grabbed her hand, I pulled her towards me and we were out of breath. We fell to our knees.

'Its okay I saw what happen, I heard what they said.' I whispered in her ear. I felt her tense, she shocked me when she broke down. I felt her tears going through my shirt, it wasn't that much because she was covering her eyes with her hands. She cried in my chest and I hugged her tighter. When I was surer she was done I moved her so I could look at her.

She looked so sad it broke my heart, her eyes were a little red and she gave me a weak smile. I ran through my mind thinking of places she could be herself and no one would be around. We weren't too far so I decided to start going. It was about 1 o'clock and it was a perfect day to go.

I stood up bringing her with me. I grabbed her hand and started walking, her hand was still about five degrees colder than me. She stayed quiet as we walked.

'We're here' I said pointing towards the beach. Our family loves the beach and no one usually goes so we always had it to ourselves. I looked at her face and saw her eyes light up.

'Can we go in?' she said getting excited.

'That's why we're here' I said. She started taking her dress off and I turned away from her blushing. She started laughing at me and it was real. It sounded really nice.

'I have shorts and a tank top on stupid, you can look.' She said to me wile laughing. She had a black tank and blue shorts. She tied up her hair into a ponytail.

'You always wear shorts and a tank under your clothes? I asked.

'Only when I wear skirts or dresses she said, still laughing at me. Luckily I was wearing swim trunks as my shorts today. I took out my phone, yes I'm nine years old and I have a very old phone. I texted my mom and dad where I am and told them to come with us.

Alice ran to the water and I followed her after putting my phone down. I grabbed and dragged her under water with me. She was smiling and it was beautiful! The water wasn't too bad after you got use to it.

In about an hour my parents got there, my dad had a cooler, my sister was in her bathing suit, my mom was carring her 100 pound purse.

My mom looked like she was hiding someing behind her back.

'Seth! You and alice get some firewood so we can start a fire.' My father said. Alice smiled and walked to me.

'lets see if we can find some wood by the coast' I said to her. She looked confused but nodded her head. We found a lot of wood and had a race coming back.

Me and my dad started a fire and she looked at what we were doing closely. When the flames turned different colors she looked shocked.

'how is it doing that she' asked.

'the wood has salt in it from the ocean so it changes the color.' My dad said. After that we ate some smores and we started packing up and left the beach. Whenn we got home my mom pulled me to the side.

'Seth I want you to stay with Alice for the rest of the week at home, I herd what happened at school. I want her to know how be a kid, she lost everything and I want her to feel normal okay?' my mom said. I nodded my head.

**LATE THAT SAME NIGHT**

Alice POV

I looked through my bunny backpack and pulled out my backpack bunny and pulled out my brush. I smiled remembering how I got my bat brush.

*** Alice's memory***

My dad and I had just finished practicing playing the violin in the park and we walked to a near by mall to look for a gift for my moms birthday. We walked into an antique store cause mom likes that type of thing. I was walking around and I saw a brush. The brush was BEAUTIFUL. I looked at the brush closer and it looked like bat and it had a long tail as a handle.

I picked up the brush and I fell in love with it, I showed it to my dad. He had no expression on his face he took it and gave it to the cashier.

'Im sorry Alice.' My dad said in a sad voice. I took that as a know and almost started to cry. I looked back at my dad and he had a huge smile on his face.

'JUST KIDDING!' he yelled at me. He started laughing at me and I looked confused.

You should have seen the look on your face' my dad said smiling. I smiled back at him.

'did you find anything for moms present?' I asked him. He had the "oop's" type of face.

'n-no' he stuttered. I smiled at him and pulled out a ring I found in the store. It had three roses on it two black roses and one red rose in the middle. He looked at it and smiled.

'its perfect.' He said smliling.

'now as a reward, you have to buy me the bat brush.' I smiled at him. He looked shocked but smiled too.

'you know I would have bought you that brush anyway.' He said. I smiled at him.

'I know.' I said.

He picked me up and bought MY brush and my moms birthday ring. We walked to our house, with me on my dads back. My mom was on the couch reading a book.

She set down her book and looked at us confused. It was probably because we had huge grins on our faces.

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!' me and my dad yelled at her. She had completely forgot her birthday and smiled. We gave her the bag and she looked inside. She pulled out the ring we got her.

'I love it!! It's perfect!! Alice did you pick this out?' my mom said smiling at me. I nodded my head yes and she picked me up and gave me a big kiss and hug.

'Don't I get a hug?' my dad said giving mom a puppy dog eyes. She smiled and walked over to him, she put a hand on his cheek.

'of course honey... I just don't want to now' she said smiling. I laughed at my dad's expression. He was about to grab mom but she had dissapered to the otherside of the room.

I sat on the couch as my dad chased mom around the house a super blinding speed. Mom is the faster than my dad so he can never catch her.

I opened my buuny bag, that is supose to look battered, and grabbed my bat brush. I felt my mom by my side and dad catching up.

'what's that?' my mom asked.

'it's a bat brush' I said.

'you are so obsessed with bats Ali!' she said smiling at me. It was true, I have three pet bats, and I love my white violin with red roses on it and of course bats on it!

We all named my pet bats that I had saved from dying. Mom named one Ashley, dad named one Ian and I named Shadow. You could tell he was different because he had one red eye and one blue eye it was so cool!

All of my bats and I had a bond and because of that bond they could turn human when they wanted too. We all were around the same age, they were my protectors is what mom told me. I guess it was true, I had climbed a big tree and started to fall but Shadow had saved me.

'if your bats could sing to you they would sing " why you so obsessed with me"' I laughed when mom hit his head.

***End of memory***

I wonder what happened to my bats. I heard a knock on my door. I knew it was Seth so I opened the door. Today was the first time I have smiled for what seems like centuries!

'Hey' he said. I could practicly feel the questions radiating off of him! I smiled at him and I heard him catch his breath.

'shall we start with your questions now?' I asked him. He nodded his head. We sat on the bed, and I got comfy.

'what do you want to know?' I asked him.

Seth's POV

'how old are you' I asked.

'nine'

'when's your birthday?'

'already passed'

'that wasn't an answer'

' it is to me' she said smiling, I gave up and moved on.

'what musical instruments are your favorite?'

'violin, piano, and guitar' she said.

We went on for about an hour or so. It was getting late and she had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I was going to go back to my room but Alice grabbed shirt.

'stay' she whispered. I swear my heart had stopped.

I went back on the bed and leand against the wall sitting up with her sleeping on my shoulder. I covered us with a blanket and closed my eyes.

Lacey's POV (Seth's mom)

I woke up early to go food shopping, Layla was already in school and Allen already at work. I decided to check on Alice. I opened the door and saw Alice sleeping on Seth's shoulder.

I dug through my purse and pulled out what I was looking for. My camera. Oh yeah I'm evil! I tool pictures of both of them on the beach together yesterday and didn't get caught! They look so cute together even if Alice is a vampire.

Yes I know what she is but I know she would never hurt Seth so I'm fine. I took a few pictures of them and closed the door.

I wrote a note on the fridge and left to go shopping. I'm think I'm gonna take my sweet slow time today. I smiled and walked out the door.

Shadow's POV

I've always loved her. Ever since she saved me I knew I would die to protect her. I looked at Ashley getting worried, they should of been back by now! Where are they?!

That was when I felt an excruciating pain in my chest. I looked at Ashley and Ian, they looked like they were I'm pain too. We all knew something was wrong. Alice was in pain and we felt it too.

We only get a fracture of her pain which meant she was going through much more. We all ran out of her house and the pain left instantly. We went back in the house because we all felt sick. We all passed out after that. We woke up a few days later.

'Where is she? I can't feel her anywhere!!' Ashley yelled. I looked at Ian, Ashley's older twin brother. He hugged her and Ashley started to cry we all cried.

The person we all loved and loved us is gone and we don't know where she is. We all looked at each other and felt her still alive.

We all agreed to look for her later but for know we must rest our energy...
