Sitting on the beach with no one around, looking at the drowning sun as its rays expand and change colors to a lighter shade.

Jimin was back hugging her as she was sitting between his legs, his arms wrapped around her waist and her hands were placed on his. His head on her shoulder as he looks at the scenery in front of him but nothing can compare to the beauty of this girl in his arms, in his eyes.

"Do you remember how we first met?" Rosé breaks the silence with a small smile on her face.

"Oh yeah, how can I forget." He chuckles to himself as memories of how they met start playing in his head.

"Taehyung, did you write down your notes in our biology class?" I asked him.

"You already know the answer." I groaned. I forgot to write the notes because I was feeling sleepy and this dumbass always copies mine.

"Can you for onc–"

I was cut off because someone bumped into me, making me lose my balance. I wasn't looking where I was going so I lost my balance and fell on top of that person.

Whoever it was, groaned and it sounded feminine.

I looked down to see a girl with red hair groaning in pain, I lifted myself when I realized how petite she is.

"I'm sor–" I couldn't complete my sentence because when she opened her eyes and made eye contact with me, I was lost.

"Hey, get off my friend!" I felt a kick at my side and I was pushed away from her. Clutching my side in pain I looked up to see a girl glaring at me as she helped that girl stand up.

"Hey! It's my friend that you kicked!" Taehyung bellowed and somehow they both started fighting. I stood up and approached that beautiful girl.

"Are you okay? I-I'm sorry for earlier, I didn't see where I was going." I stuttered like a fool but I really don't care at the moment.

She smiled at me, making my heart melt into a puddle.

I didn't know angels exist on Earth.

"It's okay, I also didn't see where I was going." I nodded unknowingly because I couldn't take my eyes off her.

"Rosé, let's go!" Her friend said much to my dismay and glared at Taehyung then me and I visibly backed away because she looked like she will murder one of us.

So her name is Rosé, what pretty name for a pretty girl.

Rosé...

"What a girl," Taehyung said in distaste and I think he's talking about her friend.

"Yeah, what a girl," I said dreamily.

"You had me wrapped around your finger the moment I set my eyes on you," He confessed and she smiled widely, feeling shy.

"And Jennie was really scary." He pouts while she chuckles.

"I think she's still like this," Rosé says and smiles remembering her friend.

"I really liked your red hair but I also like your blond hair too," He says and runs fingers through her hair and she hums in content.

"Do you remember what happened at the prom?" Rosé asks and he groans, "Please don't remind me of it."

"Mom, I already have a girlfriend whom I'm going to ask out. I can't take anyone else!" He tried to explain to his mother because he can't just take another girl to prom when he already has a girlfriend.

"Jimin please, do this for me just this once. My client would be very happy."

"Mom-" he started but his mother emotionally blackmailed him and he gave in.

"Okay fine!" Now she smiled widely and hugged her son.

"She'll be here soon, you don't have to pick her up." He rolled his eyes and at the exact time, the bell rang, and soon that awaited person walks inside.

Kang Seulgi.

Mom, you've got to be kidding me!

"I swear it wasn't my intention to not ask you. Mom emotionally blackmailed me so I had no choice. I wish didn't listen to her," He says the last sentence a bit angrily and she squeezes his hand.

I was dancing with this annoying girl who won't stop talking and seriously it was causing me a headache.

I only wanted to dance with my girl.

We had to switch partners and I was relieved that I didn't have to be with Seulgi anymore.

And to my delight, my partner was my Rose.

But she won't look me in the face, she kept looking down. I knew she's upset that I didn't ask her, then I came here with another girl. She has the right to be upset with me.

I pulled her closer and she didn't push me away which was a good sign.

"What's wrong?" I asked although I knew the reason I wanted to hear it from her. I don't want her to bottle it up.

"Nothing," She said yet she won't look into my eyes.

I stopped dancing and placed my fingers under her chin and lifted her head, her eyes were teary and that tore my heart apart.

Before I could say anything someone pushed against her making her fall on my chest which resulted in our lips connecting.

Both of our eyes widened in shock and we stayed like this for a while until she pulled away first, "I-I-I'm sorry I–"

I didn't let her speak and kissed her, I poured all my emotions into it. I wanted her to know how sorry I am and how much I missed her all this time.

She finally gave in and kissed me back. I smiled through the kiss and we pulled back, breathing heavily. I placed my forehead on hers and pulled her against my chest.

"I love you."

"You almost gave me a heart attack by that confession." Jimin grins hearing that and squeezes her in his embrace. She places her head on his shoulder.

There was a moment of silence, the sound of waves could be heard which felt calming. "Do you remember my flower presentation?" Jimin asks and cheekily grins as he sees a blush appear on Rosé's cheeks.

"How can I forget it?"

"Flowers represent a lot of things, your honor." He addressed his teacher and that teacher rolled his eyes, totally done with him.

The class snickered but he kept a poker face, "I mean look at daisies, plain, and simple. There's this yellow thing in the middle, they still haven't moved on from their acne phase." He said all too seriously while the class laughed.

The teacher interjected, "Mr. Park, that's pollen."

"Exactly! You know which flower is flawless?" He said and took out a picture of Rosé.

Rosé turned all shades of red as he was looking at her and the whole class started hooting for them.

He looked back at the picture and said, "Oh sorry, my bad. I mean the flower rose." Now he took out a picture of an actual rose.

"These aren't called the most beautiful one in the world for nothing. I mean, nothing can compare to their beauty," He said and all this time he didn't take his eyes off her.

"You see, each color of rose has a different meaning," He said and turns his attention to the class.

"Like the white rose presents purity, innocence, and, youthfulness," He said and looked back at Rosé who's wearing a white dress.

"The red rosebud shows loveliness. But you know my personal favorite, the red rose....it's perfect."

He looks at Rosé who's hair color is red.

"For it represents love."

"You were so cheesy." She hides her face in her hands as she blushes hard.

"But you loved it." He kisses her cheek and she blushed even more if it was possible.

They sit in each other's embrace, silently enjoying their presence.

"It still feels unreal how far we have come," Rosé says and focuses on the drowning sun which looks breathtaking as it shows hues of pink mixed with orange, melting into the sea.

"Yeah," He says but he doesn't look at the sunset, rather looks at the brightness of his life. His light in his darkness. The one who lightens up his world just by her smile.

His Rose.

Rosé turns her head and looks at Jimin, silently admiring her fiancé. "What?" He chuckles and she smiles at the small tint of red on his cheeks.

"I love you," She says and his cheeks grow hotter and he smiles at her lovingly.

"I love you more." With that being said he places his lips on hers, sealing their love for each other. A promise for never letting go and always be there for each other.

A promise to be together forever.
