Jimin was driving his car fastly and if it would've been any other situation Rosé would have yelled at him but she feels like she's losing her sanity.
How could that be even possible?
Was that girl lying? But if she was then how did she know about Rosé because she's hasn't been shown to the public yet. And if she was lying, she could've said that she was his ex.
All these questions have been running around her head, her hands are shaking in anxiety, her heart thudding against her chest.
What if Jimin thinks that I was acting all along? What if he breaks up with me?
Just thinking about it makes her dizzy, she feels nauseous from this overwhelming feeling. Her breathing quickens a bit and she clenches her skirt while shutting her eyes tightly to calm her down.
A hand is placed on her fist and she opens her eyes as unshed tears appear at the corner of her eyes.
He pulls the car to the side. His one hand on the steering wheel while the other on her hand. He looks at her and brings her hand towards his lap and tangled them. "Whatever happens, it can't change the way I feel about you. I trust you and I know that you didn't do anything on purpose."
Just hearing these words calmed her a bit and she gives him a small smile which he returns. He starts the car and never once lets go of her hand.

"MOM!"
His voice echoes around the house as he yells while taking furious steps inside the house. Rosé runs after him to match his long strides.
"MOM!" He yells again making Rosé flinch at his tone. Soon his mother comes running down the stairs worriedly and approaches them, "What happened?"
She looks at Jimin who looks angry which she doesn't know why and Rosé is looking down.
"I need answers, please be honest!" He says a bit calmly but there's still rage inside him.
"Did you lie to us about my ex?" He cuts to the chase, not wanting to beat around the bush.
His mother's eyes widen as she opens her mouth then closes it, she gulps down a huge lump in her throat.
"Is—Is Rosé my ex-girlfriend?" He asks quietly not even believing his own words but his mother heard him.
"Let's just sit and–"
"NO! I want answers right here and right now!" He says angrily, his fist clenching against his sides.
His mother releases a huge breath because she knows her son won't back down. "Yes, she's your ex-girlfriend."
Both are left bewildered by her answer, thousands of questions running through their heads.
"But h-how?" Rosé asks, totally horrified by the situation.
His mother looks down, recalling everything, "You both started dating when you were in high school and things got serious between you two so you attended the same colleges as well. You both were inseparable, just like now." She glances at their way then looks down, not able to make eye contact.
She takes a pause then continues, "I wasn't happy about Jimin dating you. I was just so dwelled in my reputation about what will people think when they know that Jihye's son, a CEO, is dating a poor girl. I wanted him to marry a rich girl, a girl of his standards. I was so blinded by the fame that I didn't even care about my son's happiness at that time."
Jimin looks at his mother in disbelief. It wasn't his mother it was someone else because that's not how he saw his mother.
"So I planned something to break you both up." Rosé's eyes widen, she can't believe her ears.
So does that mean all this time she was just acting sweet?
"I knew Jimin trusted me blindly so I lied to him..."
"Jimin, I have something important to tell you." Jimin looks up from his laptop and towards his mother.
"Yeah?" She looks hesitant and that makes Jimin frown.
"Is everything okay?" He asks worriedly and she feels a bit guilty for doing this to her son but soon her subconscious wins over her.
"I don't think so," she says and looks worried. He scoots himself closer to his mother and grabs her hands, "What happened, you're scaring me now?"
"You won't believe me if I tell you." She looks at him pleadingly.
"I will! Now tell me." He tries to make his mother understand because he trusts his mother to heart.
"I saw Rosé with another guy, they.....they were k-kissing." She worriedly looks at her son and Jimin is left speechless.
"You might have seen another girl, my Rose will never cheat on me." He angrily says and lets go of her hand then stands up.
"I saw her face clearly with my own eyes. Don't you trust me?" She desperately asks in hopes her son would take her side.
"I-I don't trust you."
"I knew you weren't going to believe me but keep that in mind, truth can't be kept hidden for too long, it will come out someday and when that day comes don't blame me that I didn't warn you."
Jimin just turns around and leaves his house, he runs a frustrated hand through his hair. He trusts Rosé but his mother's words are keeping him in a dilemma. It's not like his mother hates Rosé that's why she's doing this, right? But she has always loved her.
He can't think straight so he gets in his car and leaves.
"I hired someone to make my plan work, after Jimin left I called that guy and informed him that you left, so he should get to work..."
"Hello, beautiful."
Rosé looks up to see a stranger standing in front of her, smiling seductively at her. She resists the urge to roll her eyes at his attempt.
"Can I help you?"
"Yes, definitely." He says and starts walking towards her while she steps back in instinct.
"W-What are you doing?" She asks as she frowns at this creepy guy's behavior.
"You'll know." He says with a smirk and grabs her arms then pulls her towards him.
She pushes against his chest with all her might but he won't budge, "What the hell–"
He cuts her off by placing his lips on hers, shocking the hell out of her. She freezes in shock but when she comes back to her senses, she pushes him with all her might and slaps him across his face.
"You bastard! Why did you do that?!" She yells at him while wiping her lips, tears form in her eyes as she feels dirty.
He just smirks while holding his cheek and walks away.
Rosé runs a frustrated hand through her hair then wipes her tears.
What she didn't know was that Jimin saw them kissing and left soon after.
"That was my biggest mistake in life because when he was coming home, he got into that accident." Both are left shocked yet again as the truth keeps revealing.
"Rosé was informed from the hospital about him and she rushed there but I didn't let her see him and blamed her for my mistake. She kept begging me, kept crying but I still didn't even let her near your ward."
Rosé has started to cry by now and Jimin is frozen at his place.
"When she left the hospital, she got into an accident too," Rosé gasps at that.
"She was admitted to the same hospital as you. I came to know that she completely forgot the thing that was in her mind before the accident and that was.....you."
His mother takes a deep breath, feeling like breaking down but composes herself, "I was somewhat happy that you forgot him so you won't be a problem in my way. I threatened your mother to take you away from this city and never come back but that was a huge mistake."
She wipes her tear from the corner of her eye.
"When Jimin was in the coma, he kept calling your name but when he woke up, he remembered nothing and was totally reckless."
"At that moment, I realized my mistake and tried to find you but I couldn't then it was like God gave me another chance to amend my mistake. You saved my life and I couldn't be happier. What I regret the most was that I judged you for your status but not from your heart. I'm sorry, I truly am."
"I know I made a big mistake so that's why I suggested that big amount for your job, I know it's not enough but that's all I could offer." She finishes and looks at Rosé apologetically while she looks back at her blankly.
"Why did you left if—if you cared so much about me?" Jimin asks, narrowing his eyes at his mother.
"I left so I can give you guys some space and I think that worked perfectly." She smiles at him but he looks at her in disbelief and anger.
"Are you out of your mind, mom?! How can you leave someone like me alone with a girl, just like that?! I almost killed her!" He cries out and runs a hand through his hair.
"B-But that's the thing, you didn't. She's with you." His mother tries to explain and points towards Rosé.
"Rosé!" Jimin looks behind him in alarm at his mother's voice.
Rosé feels as if her head will explode, flashes of her and Jimin pass through her eyes, each memory causes a wave of pain in her head. She's kneeling on the floor while grabbing her head, her breathing ragged and a scream leaves her mouth at the excruciating pain in her head.
Jimin drops on his knees and catches her in his arms before she falls on the floor. He panics seeing her like this.
"Rose, can you hear me? Rose!" He keeps calling her name but darkness is clouding her vision as she tries to focus on his voice but it's too late.
Jimin, save me.
