Lydia didn't remember going through red smoke before

A/N this is what I imagine the nether world to look like ok back to the story

Lydia looked around she didn't see the void she saw the first time she went to the netherworld

It was a entire city

"Wow" is all she could manage

She looked back at the portal they came from and heard her dad yell her name

It was faint but she heard it.

"Is this where you come to every time I say your name?" She asked her friend

"Yup. Home sweet home. Come on my house isn't far from here" he grabbed her hand and pulled her away

Lydia felt like a kid at Disney world

Then they got to bj's house

It looked like the house from UP but smaller and much more broken down

They went inside and surprisingly it was pretty clean in there

Lydia was surprised to see the home was sort of well kept

That's when the portal opened again

And out came Adam and Barbra

"Oh thank god we found you guys!" Barbra said she sounded panicked

"Lydia your dad will kill both of you when he finds you guys" Adam said calm but still panicked

Lydia rolled her eyes

"There's no way I'm going back there until he gets it through his thick skull that he can't get rid of my best friend!" Lydia hugged beetlejuice

"Lydia we know this is- oh my god what's happening to your face!"

Lydia and bj's faces were smushing together

"Don't worry this happens all the time!" Beetlejuice said with the most shit eating grin ever
